Not really hungry..... do get hungry occasionally.... the whole process is supposed to put your body into ketosis which (I'm not great at the scientifics) but it puts your body into fat burning... the first 2/3 days you deplete your glycogen stores and then you start fat burning and the physical hunger goes - I never feel light headed just hungry occasionally..... but if you eat off plan - so say I dunno some bread/butter or toast or potatoe/choc (basically anything off plan) then it will knock you out of ketosis which then means you'll be hungry again - if you read up on it it'll make more sense than me lol! It's all about working on your emotional/mental hunger as the physical hunger goes .... :)
I 2nd this entirely! I also have quite bad problems with being light headed/feeling sick/tummy upset in most of my daily life and when I’m following cambridge I feel 100% fine. Almost as if I am genuinely getting everything I need from the products and I am never hungry. I would say if anything I feel better eating the products than normal food.

Hi all, I got back on it New Year’s Day having put on 8lbs over crimbo (i wasn’t bad at all so it was shocking!)
any way lost it all plus a further 3lbs so I’m happy with that. Now at 3st 11lbs.
Aim is to get as much off as possible in Lockdown3 but hoping for another 2, preferably 3 stone. 💪

Hey everyone! I wanna join the party as all your comments are super helpful 🥰

I started in November last year and lost my first stone in 29 days (previous diets have taken me double the amount of time!) it works quickly which is what I love! I continued on plan for a further 2 weeks up until Christmas and weighed in last Friday and had gained 10 pounds over Christmas and new year!!

Ive been back completely on plan since Monday and had weigh in with my consultant today and 8lb off!! That’s more than what I had off in my first week!

After the first few weeks of starting the plan in November, I was only losing 2lb a week which was making me disheartened, as I thought I’d consistently lose more than 2lb a week (like the first few weeks) however reading all your comments has definitely made me realise that all the pounds eventually add up and they add up quick. I’m excited to be back!

Yeah my biggest advice is don't weigh yourself in between. We all fluctuate throughout every day. Just keep telling yourself you can do this and remember the goal. It's a marathon this WL game and its all worth it ❤
Yeah I second this, my weight generally doesn't budge all week long, sometimes even goes up but come Saturday weekly official weigh in it's always a loss. Definitely keep away from on between weigh ins, and also remember, while it's good to see the numbers dropping, consistency and the final result is what you're ultimately aiming for 🥰

I've been doing Step 2 for the last 5 weeks and have lost 17lb so far... I have 3 products and a small 200 calorie meal.... I've done this type of diet before and lost 7 stone and have the same to lose again after regaining over 15 years !! Actually finding it easier as working from home and not going out..... manage to drink 4 litres of water most days...... I enjoy all the packs..... only a couple flavours I don't enjoy...... I write it all down as it helps me..... get weighed in once a week and my consultant is really good and supportive and sends 'head stuff' to do .... as for me I think that weight loss isn't just eating right food it's understanding why you over eat etc...... it's about changing my relationship with food and not using it as my crutch ..... 😊😊

Hiya, I started on step 1A and am now on day 7. I’ve only lost 3lbs this week and have stuck to the plan 100% with 2 days of going to the gym also. Can’t help but feel disappointed and disheartened at my loss as was expecting more. I found the first 3/4 days so much easier than the last 3 as I’ve noticed the hunger so much more. This is a last resort for me as I’ve tried so many other diets and have only lost 20lbs since March 2022 post baby with another 17 to go!
Well done on your loss.
Not 100% sure, but on 1a you're only having around 600 calories and probably shouldn't be going to the gym.
My consultant strongly advised against going to the gym on the product-only steps to avoid stalling losses x

It's hard to say what you lose each week as everyone is different and every body will lose in a different way. I'm 7 weeks in & nearly 2 stone down, they say you average a stone a month , but I've also lost 12inches overall so far and 2 clothes sizes down. The key is water, water, water & stick to it 100%. Good luck

I am on day 2 of CWP & starving. I want a stone off by end of September.

I've done slimming world in the past and now doing Cambridge. Whilst yes Cambridge is more restricted, I got myself into an awful mindset with SW where I over analysed every single thing I ate and ended up with BDD (which god forbid you dare talk about!). With Cambridge I needed a kick up the backside to get started and shift this lockdown weight. I also allow myself to enjoy life when I go out with friends or whatever. My mindset is better, I understand my body shape and accept that more now.

I've lost 1 stone 5lb in about 2 months. 4lb to go until I'm back at my happy weight but my clothes fit again and I don't obsess with my figure!
Do you go off plan when socialising

I want to try the pesto pasta and macaroni cheese but something tells me they’re not going to be nice 😭 I’m having the fava beans later and a chocolate and mint shake!

the porridge reeeeally filled me up though. I had it with a cup of tea and I don’t feel hungry whatsoever! So maybe it’s getting easier 😭 plus my consultant is my close friend so she gives me a stellar discount 😎
The pesto one isn’t too bad. The Mac Is vile

I have 2 stone to lose which I’ve managed to gain in the space of like 6 months or so 😩I can’t seem to make myself start this diet this time. Despite knowing I’d lose it quite quickly, someone kick me up the bottom please
Anyone new to it, I honestly find the water flavourings a god send and I use them when I’m not on the diet too as I actually really like them

My first day was Friday but I’ll need to go and get weighed Thursday night otherwise I’ll have no product for Friday.

I don’t like evening weighs.. I always think I’m going to be heavier.

So tempted to pop on the scales tomorrow night and see what it’s like!

why don't you just buy a couple of the meals to try.... ? First couple of weeks I just bought 1 of each thing to try and then if I liked I bought more the following week.... my fav is the spag bol..... tip my consultant gave me was to put the hot water on it ... stir it then leave it for five mins before cooking it .... makes the pasta swell and is really nice...... the choc mint is nice in a mousse too .. feel like a treat..... :)
Oh how do you make a moose?
I’ve just done my first week and lost 5lbs. Not a huge loss but reasonable. I had barely done any steps - so plan to walk more next week.
