Unseen footage:
I’m sure Katie is just as happy not to have Tom in her child’s life.Once Suri left she was considered an oppressive person, hence why Tom hasn’t seen her for the last 10 years. Poor kid, Katie seems like a good mum though.
Yes. I recall watching a documentary on it as well, a while ago.Google for a start. Case against Carrey was dismissed in a California Court. The family of his quite frankly scientology obsessed deceased ex tried to sue him but it was pure bullshit.
Part of this was also attempts to claim he gave her stds which was also a lie
It was nothing more than an attempt to get money out of him. The family were despicable
The definition of physical attack: An actual and intentional striking of another person against his or her will, or the intentional causing of bodily harm to an individual. The same one as you, actually. Depending on what you’d class as an attack I was (if you read what I wrote) referencing people acting like Will beat up Chris on that stage. A slap is an assault and of course not acceptable in any way but some people would or wouldn’t class it as an attack. That’s all I was referring too - not that Will didn’t do anything.![]()
I can't stop watching it too. I had to leave my chair, it cut me deep, oh f off.Sorry but this is highly amusing and I can’t stop watching it. I’ll have what you’re having pal
If you call yourself CIS you should not comment on anythingAs a white cis woman, feels like I'm not allowed comment on ANYTHING anymore![]()
What an arrogant prick he is.Academy saying they asked Smith to leave after the slap but he refused![]()
it’s very sad to watch tbh, he doesn’t look in any way ready to talk about it publicly (if he ever would have been ready) and surely, as his wife, she would have registered how devastated he was. imagine putting your husband on camera so you could tell him how good cheating on him made you feel. The overall tone (from Jada) may be jovial and it's not such a bad thing, healing and I wanted to feel good for the first time in a long time, blah blah blah, but it's clear Will was very upset about it and it's all about how SHE feels.
You can even see it in his eyes, he looks upset, tired, not at all happy, even though he laughs along with her.
As one commenter on Youtube says, she has the cheek to call him petty.
Another sums it up as, Here I'll translate "I cheated, I enjoyed it, I felt good, here's why I wasn't wrong"
How do you know Will Smith is "usually really calm?".
You have absolutely no idea what he is really like, none of us do.
You said previously something along the lines of it being good he stuck up for his wife. Personally im glad my partner has never resorted to punching/hitting someone to "defend" my honour; in fact i would be absolutely mortified if anyone felt the need to be violent towards someone else in order to defend me.
The other thing, Jada talks so much about being a strong independent woman blah blah blah, im pretty sure she could have stuck up for herself given the narrative she likes to spin about herself. Not only that, if you have seen the film Rock is referring to- Demi Moore is a fucking queen in it and is actually all the things Jada likes to say she is!
The worst thing for me was the way Will Smith strutted back to his seat after he hit Rock. And then continued to shout at him, he knew exactly what he was doing.
He absolutely is a violent, massively entitled dickhead. You’d think he’d want to keep it quiet, not broadcast it live so that the few people who didn’t already know found out what a fucking tosser he is.But why would Will Smith agree to stage something that would make him look like a violent, massively entitled dickhead? Not to mention delivering a huge blow to his popularity and reputation and totally overshadowing and devaluing his Oscar win. It doesn’t make sense.
Yes, he certainly snapped and appears to be on extremely shaky ground emotionally and mentally. Its perfectly possible to be both perpetrator and victim. My opinion should be on the unpopular opinions thread but I genuinely feel sorry for him.
Every single person that knows will or has worked with him throughout his career, interviewed him etc has only ever had lovely things to say about him. I’m not condoning violence but this was not the will Smith we all know and his friends and co workers all know. It’s unbearable to watch as he looks mentally unwell and unhinged. There is no-one who will be regretting it more than him today. The best night of his life and moment he has worked his whole career for is now forever ruined and tainted. For that reason alone I don’t think it’s a publicity stunt. Why would he risk his whole career and reputation. They were genuine emotions brought on by feeling like he had to protect his wife when he saw she was furious.
There is no excuse for slapping someone and I’m not defending him: I believe he should be punished or reprimanded in some way, but I believe this is a one off incident brought on by pure raw emotion and rage that is out of character for him. Even in his speech the way he was talking like some kind of prophet he doesn’t appear to be mentally well. I truly believe he feels embarrassed and backed into a corner at the publics view of him and his wife and family being so vocal and everyone knowing his wife fucks about. I believe it was like a pressure cooker and he acted and truly regrets it. I hope people can forgive him and he will seek help. I don’t think that one moment should define him and tarnish his impeccable and untarnished record up to this point in his life.
We are not talking about a serial offender here. More a man who snapped and will regret it for the rest of his life.
