A few things:
1. Every single person on the Internet saying 'MoCkInG sOmEoNe aBoUt ThIeR/ a HeAltH cOnDiTiOn iS WrOnG' And? How many comedians day in and out mock disabled children, cancer patients, fat people, race jokes you name it not one person has ever tried to cancel them, the fact Ricky Gervais, Jimmy Carr and Frankie Boyle are still going says it all
2. Jada has alopecia through years of wearing weaves, self inflicted choice.i can't feel sorry for an 80 a day cigarette smoker who gets lung cancer.
3. Self righteous Internet fucks jumping on the bad joke bandwagon, saying Chris Rock was out of line wouldn't be saying Jack shit if Jada and will laughed it off, only because will reacted the way he did people say Chris rock was outta line. Which shows these self righteous twats pretending they're suddenly alopecia advocates all of a sudden seem to think because the sufferer of a condition laughs about (if they did) then its OK and we can laugh, when just because one sufferer of a condition may laugh (if they did) then joking about it is OK. .its not
4. Will Smiths reaction was an egotistical one, he had something to prove to the world and to her. She cheated on him with a guy the same age as her son, will hitting Rock was his way of 'proving' his love and showing that his relationship is stronger than it is. If he laughs then everyone sees him as a prick that is also a pushover. Do something and he's been judged either way. He was damned if he did or he didn't
5. His reaction was over the top and unjustified, he's made a prick of himself over it and it could have waited, he's looking even more of a prick because he was laughing initially until he saw her face. He could have shown in his face he was angry, that spoke would have sufficed but no, he overreacted.
6. Its not about race as in black woman struggles as people are trying to make it. It becomes about race because Will Smith is being asked to hand back his ward by the Academy for breaking code of conduct, yet white celebrities who are proven serial predators (having committed offenses at these ceremony after parties) have been glorified by Hollywood and been allowed to keep their awards.
That's my own view on this.
