I have found it now. Pumpkin Productivity's privacy policy states that their site is not for use by people under 16 and that Sixteenth has a Privacy Compliance Officer. She really is on thin ice.

Okay, so I’m procrastinating and decided to use my procrastination time usefully and went through Roobee’s study day. Didn’t find any inconsistencies with the date (or she’s got really sneaky at hiding them) but she really is half-assing 50% of it and lying about the other 50%. Behold:

She gets up some time after sunrise, gets dressed and has breakfast - I’m guessing she starts WAHHRK around 8:30 or so (hard to make out the time but it starts with either 8 or 9).

She ”writes an outline” of The Jew of Malta, reads an article on it, then reads the whole play - the time looks to be something starting with 10 when she starts reading, or when she films the first clip of herself reading. ”That took me a couple of hours,” she announces, goes down to get coffee, then says ”it’s now been an hour” and claims to have worked on her novel.

She then reads from an introductory book on Shakespeare ”to brush up on my Shakespeare knowledge” and films the sponsorship segment, then announces ”it’s now 12:15”. Instead of going to lunch, she then ”writes up summaries of all the cantos of The Faerie Queene” (there are 75) and ”reads another canto” (number 3 - but she’s ”taking it slyowly because I’m just really enjoying it”).

After an insufficient lunch, it’s time for some transcription of Early Modern handwriting. It’s 13:44 according to her iPad. She then watches an introductory video on the Bodleian (time shown, it’s now 14:37). She then reads an entire book on early printed books on PARLAYGO and takes notes; the clock on her desk shows a time of 16:55.

She goes out on a ron, saying she will take a 45-minute break. She time travels back to 15:07 briefly to unbox her Apple pansill, then proceeds with her break of coffee, cake and wahhrking on her novel. She then reads two critical essays; the time is 17:something. (Even if it’s 17:59, she has once again managed the impossible and gone for a run, shower, coffee, cake, writing and reading two critical essays all within 54 minutes, not to mention the time travel.)

After this, it’s time to make and eat dinner, and then she has a therapy session at 19:00. She then writes for 3+ hours and reads 400 pages of a book before going to sleep.

I have nicely commented twice, linking UK govt websites as source, that throwing bread ,as her mother and grandmother seems to do, into rivers and canals to feed swans and ducks is not a good habit and she deleted these comments 😭😭

kind of OT...But speaking of her ED... I have found myself much much more productive and efficient at work in the days with junk foods as one meal... like chips, fried chickens...My brain can work really fast after that and followed with coffee.. Dont know why...Anyone has similar situation?
I’m against discussing “ED tips” on this thread given the harm that could do.

Why are her coat sleeves so long that you can't see her hands? Why is the ribbon tied so sloppily? Why is the bonnet so fucking huge? Why are her knees visible when that is blatantly not Victorian like not even a prostitute would've been walking around knees to the wind back then never mind a Middle Class Woman?? Please consider these questions for our seminar tomorrow xo
why does she look like a child being evacuated to the countryside in WW2 in that picture???

Just a friendly reminder to anyone here who doesn't clean their mirrors much either - the criticism is not aimed at you. You're not posting it online to show everyone how perfect your life is.

It's ok if you don't have your life together or you just can't be muster up the energy or even want to make it a priority to clean.

Lots of people only clean up when they have friends coming over. (Or tidy up the background before a zoom call haha).
Ruby may not have people coming into her house in the physical sense, but she is virtually inviting the whole world into her home by posting pictures of it.

(This is in reference to a previous discussion involving a poster who felt self-conscious about some things we poke fun at Ruby for).

Honestly, I would pay to see Jack and Jade's reactions and also looking forward to how they'll congratulate her.
Jade: "Ahh, such CaSuAl MaGiC! 🌈 So happy for you gorl! 🎉 It's so nice to have simple dreams and achieve them. 🙌 I was going to go to Oxford but I didn't want to be rooted down and restricted like that. ✈ Now I study at a university where I travel the world, for only several times the cost of just going to the same places on holiday, and at the end of it I'll have a degree that will surely be recognised as legitimate! 📖 But you do you gorl, we love it! 🌷"

Jack: "Ruby at Oxford?! Call me Unpack Edwards because there's a lot to get my head around! But also call me Fatboy Slim, because I have to praise you. Now can I monetise this somehow without doing any work? 🤔"

If I sent a huge paragraph of an email like this to my tutors, it would have been promptly ignored. Tutors are busy people, Ruby. They don't have the time to read through a rambling essay like that.

Also: 1 or 2 follow-up emails every few weeks? Oh no, Ruby love. No - for the reason above. You aren't a fellow academic, you're a student.

I’ve been thinking about this too and honestly, Ruby Realname can sit in her bedroom dressed as Miss Havisham, eat tiny meals and twirl round the garden until the world ends, if she wants. It makes no difference to me at all and she’s free to do whatever she wants to do. However, I do have a huge problem with ‘Ruby Granger’ promoting EDs online, especially as she absolutely knows the demographic of her audience and how damaging her behaviour could be - or to be fair, she would have known at one point but may now be in a position where it no longer registers.

StudyTubers (and YouTube celebrities more generally) weren’t a thing when I was at school but if they had been, I can totally see myself as part of the audience because on the surface, the life they present would have had everything I wanted as a teenager - a nice, stable home, two parents, academic success, good schools and so on. I would have saved up and bought a planner from Ruby and a narna t-shirt from Holly. Hell, I probably would have saved and signed up to one of Jade’s scams, sorry, schemes, because I would not have had the critical faculty at that age to separate the image from the reality. I would have thought that by buying their stuff, I could be like them. It is not a huge leap to see myself deciding that copying them in other ways too would be a good idea, so that I too could get good grades and have a nice, middle-class life.

There aren’t any StudyTubers that aren’t problematic - just from the ones I ‘know’, Jade‘s a raging narcissist caught up in her family’s MLM lifestyle to the point where she’s even decided to go to an MLM university, Ruby’s clearly unwell mentally and now that she is facing real life, everything’s falling apart and Holly’s most likely done permanent damage to her body through years of disordered eating. But they are able to present themselves as people to look up to and their audience (well, the chunk of it that isn’t middle-aged perverts interested in school dresses and young women’s periods) laps that up. It’s all part of the problem of making teenagers, influencers. When you get to the point where someone feels that they know you and trusts you enough to do what you do and buy what you recommend, you can’t turn that on and off like a tap. If you influence me to buy a lipstick, or a laptop, then all of your other behaviours will influence me too. This is what the StudyTubers need to realise.

Fuck me. 16 minutes wanging on about the problems with the education system in the UK and not a single mention of the current teaching strike, the ongoing chronic shortage of teachers and the blatant disparities in access to education between different regions of the country.
Probably one of the most out of touch videos I’ve seen from her tbh.

Her giveaways/competitions do seem to be fake. She ran one in the book club where the most liked response would win which was me by quite a significant amount but I was never contacted or anything lol

Okay, here’s a (really) weird theory I’ve been having for years know – sad, I know – and that’s been slightly tested by Ruby posting this photo with Blakeney’s jacket (because it was quite unusual for her). Let’s treat this as some sort of #headcanon.

In my head, Ruby and Blakeney have been in love for a long time now. In this version of reality, Blakeney is the clever, but slightly grumpy one, rolling her eyes every now and then. She knows about Ruby’s flaws and fears. She’s down to earth and rooted in reality while our Roobs is, well, simply not. She doesn’t like Ruby gushing about her as a ✨ best friend ✨ because a. it’s not the truth and b. somebody could actually find out the truth. Still, some part of her secretly likes reading these words directed at her. All in all though, she insists they keep a low profile. (The more so, the better. She despises the attention.) She actually enjoyed helping Ruby out back in Exeter, all their late night study sessions and dancing in the kitchen. She knows about her rather difficult family, money or no money, and always wished to be there for her. Still, she wants to play it safe. The cropped head? The public doesn’t need to see them together. All the times when we asked ourselves who, if not Mummy Bones, took photos of Ruby while travelling? It was actually Blakeney. Sweet honeymoons before they go their own ways again.

But Ruby’s worsening mental health problems and her moving to Oxford soon are a strain on the relationship that needs to be kept in the dark for several reasons. (Ruby’s fAmE on social media. A potential disinheritance by Daddy.) The jacket that Blakeney gave her, though? She’s allowed to keep it. Forever.

(Okay guys, I’m seeing myself out now. Probably a sunstroke and too much caffeine.)
I think I accidentally logged into wattpad

Ruby is quite problematic but I don't understand why y'all criticise her for not drinking, not enjoying clubbing, not desiring many friends etc.
Drinking, drug-taking, partying aren't innately good activities
Literally never seen anyone here criticize her for that or wish that Ruby started taking drugs or drinking lmao

Yeah, Vee looks sensational. Ruby looks like an elderly woman attending the reading of her late husband Bernard's will.
Most people go for the glam aspect of vintage fashion, Ruby goes straight for the 1940s dowdy housewife at the fish market look. It’s… a choice.

Not to break up the poetry discussion
But I saw Blakeney on campus today and all I could do is feel sorry for her. She's an ordinary student who now has a lot of their life published online, and random people will know who she is

She’s obviously half-inched that recipe from a website so why not just share the link rather than an artistic interpretation? There’s so much missing here it makes my baker’s soul hurt.
I went back to check that section and she steals absolutely everything and contributes nothing of her own.

The design template is one of the stock layouts/designs from the website/printing service she used.

uo567687798579779576666667554857566676767064675 - Copy.png

Most of the recipes and images are copied and pasted from Pinterest.

Others nabbed from specific sites she found in Google searches.

She just copies and pastes everything, with no attention paid to any missing information, like cooking instructions.

Most of the recipes have no instructions whatsoever, just a list of raw ingredients for you to pile into a bowl and eat with a fork, presumably.

For the few that she's included cooking instructions, there are...issues.

uo5676877985797795766666675548979809575765675657966886tyu68777987989879y7t88666687868767670667...png

James's Peach Rolls (from James and the Giant Peach, I guess, but she doesn't clarify who or where any of these recipes originate from and leaves it to the imagination) have cooking instructions included, mercifully. Only...instead of an actual recipe for peach rolls, she's just copied this recipe for vegan brioche, word for word:

And in her rush to steal all her content from other sources and put in zero thought or effort of her own, she forgot that there are no peaches in that stolen recipe and so peaches aren't included anywhere in the cooking instructions. There's just a half-assed note on the ingredient list - 'Sliced peaches (to roll inside)' - but no indication at what point to do that, because she was too damn lazy to amend the instructions.

So the design is borrowed and the recipes incompetently stolen, but surely someone who brags that she JANUINELY reads 1,000s of books a year and loves literature more than anything has a few memorable passages and scenes rattling around her dusty, hollow skull? Especially since she's constantly advertising all the annotation apps she AWLWHEYS YEEZES.

Nah, she just skimmed Goodreads quotes until she found something food-related.

You might think she's at least contributed her own ideas as a starting point, using foods she remembers from her favourite books, right? Or since she loves REEESAAARCHING AND LAAAHRNING so much, she'd grab a favourite book from her shelf and skip to the passages about food?

uo567687798579779576666667554857567064675 - Copy.png

Nope. She got ChatGPT to think of things for her.

But not to worry, I'm sure for Harry Potter she'll have some quotes memorised or scenes in mind, considering she stole her fake name and her entire fake personality from a character in the books. She should know those books like the back of her grimy hands. And she has the books on her "BOCKSHALVES" to grab and check for the quo--

"can you find a quote from a book where[...]"

Oh dear...

I guess it's too hard to come up with her own ideas or find quotes for herself when she only pretends to read books.

uo5676877985797795766666675548979809575765675657966886tyu68777987uoi989879y7t88666687868767670...jpg

She proudly shows off her plagiarised creation and there's no credit anywhere for illustrations, photos, recipes, quotes, etc. If she tries charging money for this, it'll be a shitstorm. And I guess it's a different matter if this is just something she did for fun, but there seems to be zero fun involved, either.

It's not exactly a fun passion project when it's a joylessly and cynically slapped-together pamphlet to which she contributed nothing of her own and which is focused around her completely fake interest in literature. It's just embarrassing on every level.

And what makes it even worse is that she was stupid enough to leave all this footage in, because she thinks time-lapse footage will hide everything in a blur of faux-productive busywork. She's her own worst enemy, and I'm not sure why anyone believes her lies at this point when she shows her hand in every video.
