HOLD ON THE PHONE! You’re telling me we have managed to find the previous/current listing on the internet and she may have paid £900k - £1mil upwards, but has the audacity to post on her blog about cutting back on takeaways to help save for her garden!! Oh my empathy runs thin!!

I don’t mind Anna, but what I do mind is her trying to create and maintain this relatable dork next door image. Just own it, you’re a successful woman who can afford a home a home 4x the UKs average house price. I don’t need to be told to meal plan and set a budget for my skincare.

Hello all, long time lurker etc but had to sign up to comment on the latest vlog, A Day In The Life: A Working Day at Home. The first 13 MINUTES of the 22-minute video are her applying her makeup and over-explaining her outfit (white tank top and jeans). Then a shot of Anna's head in a different location wittering about their home office, then in a different location again showing a gifted manicure set. Then she stands in the kitchen and says they're going over to her grandparents' house. Video ends with her coming back and making a Gousto dinner feat. some gratuitous shots of Mark to boot. Where is the work??? Sorry but it's just gaslighting at this point lol. If she wants to limit what she shares, fair enough but this is not the way to do it!

Just watched Brittany Bathgate's latest video where she discussed her favorite YouTubers. She mentioned three UK-based YouTubers (Lizzy Hadfield, sunbeamsjess, and Estee). She said that aside from those three, she doesn't watch any other UK creators because it's "not quite the content I'm looking for."

I wonder how Anna feels, knowing that her icon finds her content as uninteresting as the rest of us do.

Anna talking about how she would have to win the lottery to buy the chanel sandals that have been doing the rounds- when she has just bought the row flip flops, million pound house etc. is just so grim

She’s just going to say that motherhood is amazing, it’s the best, she feels tired but it’s oh so worth it. Affliate link. No time for showers. Tired. Affliate links. Before the baby life was nothing-y.
I do hate this so so much. My personal most hated phrase: after a day it felt like he/she has always been with us. We cannot remember how it was before……..
And I am all like? WTF?????? I very much remember before and not necessarily in a bad way? Sleeping in on the weekend? Going out without a second thought? Having a nap just because you can? Just because you love having your child and your new life situation doesn’t mean your life before was worthless or plain forgettable? If so, that’s seriously sad.

If she isn’t lying she’s repeating herself. She’s lied about the last 3 major life changes that are related to and affect her work - Mark being employed by her, buying a house, and getting pregnant. I understand wanting to keep those things private, but lying in the interim is just gross. Perhaps don’t mention it or don’t directly lie about it until you are ready to tell? Or here’s a thought: truly be an organization guru and plan your content in advance much, much better so that there’s no need to lie.

Lying also undermines her credibility as an “influencer” because she doesn’t seem very genuine to me anymore. She seems harmless but she’s just as nefarious with the covert consumerism as every other influencer, and she doesn’t respect her audience’s intelligence.

This is why people like Lily and Anna kind of piss me off. Lily has been complaining ever since she had Grey that brands have dropped her because she's had a baby – conveniently not mentioning that she has also gained a lot of new partnerships. Anna saying that she will have zero income after having the baby is just ridiculous when there are entrepreneurs (hairdressers, cleaners, etc) who physically cannot work after having a baby and are literally on zero income. Anna and Lily can work part time, get loads of passive income and have had years to save for this occasion from their great earnings. So the "woe is me, I am being punished for having a baby" act is wearing thin.
On the whole ‘punished for having a baby’ issue, I just can’t help but feel it’s a massive sign of privilege that they’ve got to that age and never felt excluded by a brand ... I can’t believe that they’ve never realised that most brands sell themselves to a certain type of person who lives a certain type of lifestyle, and for a lot of higher-end brands their target market is young, slim (white ...) female professionals, and anyone who’s larger or pregnant is generally not the target market. Being surprised that your favourite brand of jeans only goes up to a 14/16 or whatever and then feeling shocked that you’re excluded when you can’t physically fit into them anymore just blows my mind. You’d think something like that might make them realise that they’ve been part of an industry that actively excludes anyone outside of a small group, but no - all we hear is how unfair it is for them.

I think it's obvious Mark has too much free time on his hands if he has the ability to run to a window every time there is a slight noise. Most of us are too busy having meetings, on Zoom calls, responding to emails.

I’m considering unfollowing her. Having been struggling to conceive for 3 years and counting, it’s really upsetting when influencers seem to get pregnant on their first attempt and do nothing to refute it that this is the case. What, do they all have some magic fertility dust? It’s so disingenuous and apparently she said in her announcement vid (I read on here, I didn’t watch) that she understands pregnancy content isn’t for everyone and can be triggering for some but it is ALL SHE IS POSTING ABOUT. And the £200 jeans four sizes bigger making her think about size inclusivity, I howled, how clueless can you be.

The way her trousers fall on her shoes remind me of that meme "if your lawyer's shoes look like this you're going to jail".
