I apologize in advance if you are not here for it, but I am having a rage moment.

Followed Anna since her uni days but with a heavy heart I have unsubbed (I feel like that is the case with several of us).

It's just the lack of effort and the failure to see things from a different perspective. I mean, how she talks about money to seem more relatable while in her new house, with clothes easily worth thousands even if they were "in the sale!" regularly popping up...just from having a short look on her insta I could see several new Toteme pieces, the row shoes, re/done jeans to be used for pregnancy (that she said do not fit any longer- good use of around 200 pounds).

The capsule thing doesn't fit her lifestyle any longer...be it the wardrobe, the makeup bag, all the other edit moment moments.

The poor editing, the very obvious deleting of comments (I had a snoop around her YouTube this morning and compared views to ammount of comments and it is so obvious). Yes they earn the dollars but in all honesty, if she is losing viewers like me who I would say are within her ideal demographic (same age, started following from the start of youtube etc) who else is she losing? Like someone just mentioned her subscriber count went down to 497.000 on her profile.

In all honesty and trying to be objective, I don't see Mark and Ofmark being able to live the lavish lifestyle they have got going on long term, and I see them both having to get normal jobs eventually. They don't care, and they are quite frankly being blind to the fact that subscribers actually are the reason they can have the life they have right now. If numbers go down so will collab opportunities and everything else. By the looks of it we are getting a bit tired of hearing about bird seeds.

Edited for typos.

I have been thinking about this post a lot and it could have been put on a number of these forums as it applies to lots of these 'influencers' but I have decided to post on Anna's thread because I think it sort of applies most to her. We have a fairly intelligent (I know I know) person who went to Uni and got a degree, married to a chap who also has an engineering degree or certainly that background. Also comes from a well grounded family who are supportive. Anna loves to portray this schtick that me and Mark are down to earth, boring types who don't rock the boat or do anything out there, we are just like you people who follow us..... ie the people next door types, but then you unpick where they have now found themselves. Here are two people who seem on one hand to care about community and charity but on the other are basically flogging stuff to people who in most cases cannot afford it in a world of consumerism of which the bubble is about to really burst. if it has not already. They are two people who could have made a contribution to their communities in jobs that have some social benefit but instead even Mark has now given up the 9-5 role to jump on the band wagon of the influencers. When it all boils down to it it is about money. There is no where else to go other than to say they are coining it in and it benefits them for Mark to be on this bandwagon as well. I wonder what their parents think about where their children have ended up. Truly and honestly do they think that selling a lifestyle to the public which is merely to get people to buy more things they don't need whilst pretending to live an edited life themselves which clearly is a lie is what they imagined for their children. Consumerism at its worst as it is only to benefit themselves and nobody else. Who benefits if someone buys a linen shirt for £200 - yes the label does but Anna only puts the link up for her own benefit and the brand benefit is secondary, although of course that has its purpose in that it brings other brand deals and the roundabout continues. I may not be explaining this well but I suppose what I am saying is that you can forgive the Lily Pebbles and the other vacuous influencers from jumping on this bandwagon as let's face it they have little prospects in the real world of jobs but Anna and Mark seem different (or certainly that is what they portray) but that in itself is worse as despite their difference in a world of mediocrity they have chosen the route of money and that is the bottom line..... there can be no other reason.

Honestly this beige slobby fashion has left me so uninspired. All these influencers are going to be cringing so hard looking back on this trend. She used to dress so so much better. Black looks great on her with a bold lip. She’s also got great legs. Skinny jeans and mini skirts suit her so well.

Posting the Hello Fresh ad after she said she’s been off her stories because it’s been “too much” and “positive vibes only” is pretty gross in my opinion.

Anna just doesn’t have the figure to pull off the style she’s trying to go for. Nothing wrong with her figure mind, it’s perfectly fine and lovely, but she has a mumsy look to her and she’s about as edgy as a mini egg so there’s that. The ugly clothes trend can look cool when done well on people who have the edge to carry it off. Anna just looks like a Middle Aged sub teacher who adjusts the car seat right up to the wheel and sits on two cushions because she can’t see over the wheel

Going on maternity leave from what? Working 30 minutes, taking pictures of tomatoes and showing us her mouldy house? Please.

Absolutely agree.

At like, 6 weeks, she was noting down that they’d gone to the supermarket and bought everything she was “craving”, such as biscuits and fish fingers... is this not just fancying fish fingers for dinner, and wanting a packet of biscuits to have with your cup of tea?

I don’t know, it all seems a bit obsessive and disingenuous to me. I’ve been pregnant (disclaimer: I’ve never had a baby though, and I don’t know anything personally about how pregnancy feels post 11 weeks), and I didn’t even realise until I was gone 7 weeks. Surely a lot of what she’s talking about in the earliest weeks (boob stuff aside), is just ordinary, every day bodily fluctuations?

Like... who profoundly notices that they have “more saliva than usual”?!

This whole Mark working for Anna thing is clearly not working. Anna’s content has taken a complete nosedive since he’s joined to work on her channel. I expect he has a big influence over how bad it’s got. She’s probably being all like ‘yes that’s great thanks so much’ at all this dire content. He needs to go get another job, and then Anna could hire an assistant who is talented with beauty and fashion content to help her get back on track. I can’t even face watching her videos anymore and she used to be one of my favs!

from the at home with fb group. That is so sad! 4 months of saving! For something that influencers sell and that might not even work. i have never tried that product, but I hightly doubt it's worth it. Just go to a dermatologist!
