I don't like to comment on another woman's motherhood journey but what gets me is the total lack of acknowledgement of the bigger picture of how insanely fortunate they are to both be off work and at home to care for the baby full time, with any baby gear and gadgets they want, some of which will have been given for free, with apparently no financial worries and able to shut themselves off from the world. Is there even anyone in their audience that can relate to that?!

For context I'm coming at it this through a lens of having a husband who works 12+ hour days, I'm on my second mat leave and will have a full-time job to go back to and when I do my husband will then be a stay at home dad because we can't afford 2 childcare fees. But I know how damn lucky I am to even have babies, have some time off to be with them and then also have my mum close by to help out.

Both Anna and Lily share their lives like it's the most ordinary thing - every post has that 'vibe' of *wink wink nudge nudge AmIRight? - and I'm like no, you are no longer #relatable, get out of your ivory tower for a minute and just share a bit of gratitude, not just for having adoring fans but for everything else. It's like they're afraid if they acknowledge their lifestyle the bubble will burst!

Lol how ironic is it that she's called Anna EDIT when there's hardly any editing in her videos? Her content is as shit as her name

When I see comments like this I always wonder if these are any of you all, or is just everyone sick of her laziness

Having recently gone through a house sale and being in a chain, I think she’s absolutely done the right thing by taking herself out of the chain so she’s in effect a cash buyer when it comes to buying her new place, she’s literally eliminated 50% of the stress by selling her place already.
As for moving in with her family, she seems close to her parents. I, for one, feel lucky that I know my parents would also offer me my room back if I needed something temporary between moves (my husband also), not everyone sees this as a backward step. I think the relationship that Anna has with her family is actually really sweet. We can bash her on so many things but actually saving money on rent when this is the most expensive thing she has done for 5 years is just common sense.

Oh thanks for sharing Anna, seeing how your life isn't perfect because you got to sleep in really makes me feel better about my life when things don't go to plan, like when a family member gets ill and my car breaks down so I have to make do.

She should really drop the ~relatable~ schtick as it's beyond condescending and not believable even for a second.

Looks like she's been reading on Tattle, too. We were saying how we prefer Lily's realness vs Anna's fake perfectionism so she gave it a try but missed the mark spectacularly.

Oh boy, moving into a new place, especially when you go to something larger, is always a bit sloppy. Curtain-gate isn't that big of a deal. Thats a pretty easy mistake to make especially as it seems everything moved extremely quickly once it closed. Curtains are the easiest panic buy.

We're all anxious to see more of the place but I think expecting her to go to parents to upload- which can take a while even with good internet- while they are still deep in unpacking is a bit much.

I know its "her job" but she also works for herself and can make her schedule. No offense to the earlier comment about how someone's job would only give them one day off for moving but I think that's more of a poor reflection of most workplaces not allowing employees to have a work life balance to take care of necessary things than Anna being lazy. Its not like she's being like Lily who didn't upload anything for weeks and then just did a half ass here are the sweats I wore all week video.

Also I was surprised at how much the house seems like it doesn’t actually need much work because I’m sure I remember her saying on the podcast that she wanted somewhere where she wouldn’t feel guilty for ripping stuff out. I think she’s going to be completely wasteful in her “renovation” of this new place.
