Also she should be getting a mammogram now that she’s 40 (going on 63).
That should be 100% covered as well. I’m not sure if it depends on what state you live in, though. I’m in NY and state law requires that most insurance carriers completely cover mammography starting at age 35. I’m high risk and have mammograms with ultrasounds every six months, and an MRI yearly. It’s completely covered.

Maybe one of Jen’s many anxieties is medical anxiety? So she just won’t go for check ups? I have a relative who is like that. She also refuses to let her kids in public indoor areas during times when illnesses are more rampant. Panics thinking about having to take them to the doctor. Thankfully therapy has helped, she used to have a full panic attack if one of the kids sneezed.

But. Jen’s anxiety tends to lean on the more…performative and convenient side. If it allows her to spend time at home doing nothing, then she’ll blame anxiety.

I imagine that they can't even be bothered to do basic things like make appointments or fill out all the forms you have to do for a basic physical. How is Jenn suppose to remember her family history when she can't even remember when she had her second lunch?

It they went for an annual physical (and that's how it was coded) and the doc (in their network) ordered basic things like CBC, metabolic, lipid, thyroid, and A1C, etc. (that they got drawn in their network) those *should* be covered by insurance even on a less-than-stellar plan (including for Tim a PSA if its recommended early for him) Also, a Pap for Jenn bc it's considered well woman should be free (one annually).

If the doc gets the results back and orders more testing based on the findings, then that's typically when you may start paying for stuff, based on your plan's structure. (at least in my case, that's how it is and I purchase my own insurance as a 1099)
The problem is, they told us in one of the recent live shows, they have a $16,000 deductible. Which means, they are paying the charges in full until they hit $16,000 out of pocket. Which, unless there is something like a birth or some sort of catastrophic medical event, they are paying in full for all of their medical care, on top of their regular insurance premiums, which they told us how much they were and I don't remember at this moment. I'm not sure with a plan as crappy as their that they would get free well care/routine diagnostic testing. Maybe. But probably not. I can see the kids having free well child visits, though. But to see a specialist, that entire amount will have to be paid and go towards that $16,000 deductible.

I'm still not convinced that J$ actually needs ear tubes, especially with the water splashing directly at the side of his head multiple times in the Typhoon Lagoon vid. I really think he had a couple of ear infections, the doctor said, you know, if this persists, he might be a candidate for ear tubes...and they ran with it. I really, really, really think the hearing test was the beginning of a speech or autism evaluation.

Yeah, I remember wondering exactly what that deductible had to cover. Like do they have to pay out of pocket for prescriptions. If one of them was say diabetic or something that could get out of control fast if that was the case.

Mammograms are covered in FL.

If you need retests (at least for basic as an average risk) in the same year, that's another story (so I was told) Same with paps. One annually is paid for, then if you need to retake due to insufficient cells or whatever, you may be on the hook for seconds or thirds (so I've experienced first-hand).

Per the ACA, private insurers are required to cover well women, so that should be free for Jenn.

If they can afford Roy O. Disney Suites and umpteen cruises and staycations, they can afford to pay OOP for their annual physicals and routine bloodwork, if that were the case. But it's not on their radar to do such things, so they choose not to.

I also agree re: the ear tubes thing. Something was off about that story since the beginning.

nicks beard wife. What is up with these woman with curtain dresses wide backs and birken stock sandals 🤢
I know am late again (I have my neice right now so it's been days filled with going to the park, covering pavements with chalk, on the trampoline an taking her jeep out)

But as others have said this straight up looks like someone has wandered out in a hospital gown, as I was scrolling I legit through this was what it was an had to double check I was in the right thread

How the hell do people not know how tf to dress these days when you have countless places offering personal shoppers, all these "influences" posting fashion tips and shops dressing up the mannequins in nice outfits, like to be this bad it actually takes some kind of talent to be this much a mess, as my neice would say "the absolute state of you" (in her wee Glaswegian tone)

Seriously, this. And it's not like it's twenty years ago there are plenty of shops that cater to women that have larger bodies. I did wonder if Dickie's beard was dressing frumpy in part due to religious reasons BUT there has to be more conservative looks than that. It's really sad when the person wearing the mumsy couch looks better than you in your hospital gown. I do wonder if Dick's family is done with the Trackers (side note: have we ever given him a nickname to cover his last name. I just feel weird calling all of them the Dicks and I'm not going to use their real last name even though it takes like half a second on Google to find out what it is). Other than that one selfie from the various junk that's been released there was no interaction. I'm assuming that since the event was on a Thursday likely the poocast was filmed earlier that day. Looks like Dick and crew got there early if you can trust the crap that comes out of KP's mouth.

They’d be able to pay for that 16k deductible if they hadn’t already donated that much towards the abortionists at planned parenthood.

Agree. Their health and wellness is at the bottom of a very long list of things they prefer to spend their money on.

Which is why I also think Jenn having such a hard time with her mother's death is also a load of tit. My mother died of breast cancer at 37 years old. She was diagnosed at about 32. When I turned 25, I started begging for mammograms. It's something I've always been very strict with myself about. I even pushed hard for the brca testing to see if I had the breast cancer gene. (I don't) But my obsession with heath checks was what caught my uterine cancer very early.

Jenn's mom died of skin cancer. Pretty young. Jenn doesn't give a duck about sunscreen or sun exposure. Her platform as someone with a public audience should be use sunscreen, get checked. But she doesn't. She only cares about concierge and eating. Losing a mother young, and I know Jenn wasn't THAT young, should make her hyper aware of leaving her kids motherless, especially having kids later in age compared to her mother or many mothers. I don't know why they aren't both hyper-vigilant with their health.

It grosses me out how careless she is with her skin especially given how young her mom died.

And speaking of random hosted emails just got one for Loft offering me free shipping. Guess I should buy a ridiculous amount of clothes from them, say I was hosted, and film a haul

It makes me worried for the kids, she's clearly too lazy to take a few mins to cover herself in sunscreen so she's prob not bothering to cover the kids in it either, here's hoping dim is at least doing that but I wouldn't be surprised if they just got the cheaper stuff and apply it once an think the kids will be fine the whole day when some of them you need to apply numerous times plus again if they get wet with swimming or going through those water jets etc

When Jenn surfaces in the morning afternoon there’s only two things she’s thinking about, when is she eating next and how soon can she dump the kids on someone? There’s no thinking about health checks and sunscreen. Unless…can you eat sunscreen?

So I’m assuming they pulled Buddy out of school for 1900 PF. That’s crazy to me. He’s really a child performer. When they need him to be in the video for Disney, school doesn’t matter

They may have not. The dwarf says he got there early at four. Dick and the banana bunch were there, but there were no Trackers in site. And we all know they never get anywhere early. I think the school ends in the two o'clock hour based off of Jenn's boohooing how they have to leave their lunch date early and on past lives where they had to end it. I know they claimed he was in some music extracurricular but that might not be every day.
