I'm laughing at the cookie icing get together at the office. As an attorney turned SAHM I still think of work in terms of billable hours. Whenever I see her office workers engaged in these silly activities I just think of how much productivity/money is being lost (assuming they actually work or conduct any type of business in that office, which is highly doubtful). Zoe and Alfie clearly aren't business people by any stretch of the imagination. Maybe she wouldn't need to hire another employee if they simply got rid of all the distracting play dates at the office and instead the workers worked the whole day through.

I think they all socialise with their own friends, at least that's what I get from their Instagram's but she seems to think they're her bosom pals!

Agree, there intertwined in each others lives, zoe's life revolves around his people/family. I'll never understand why his parents let those two build businesses and buy property together, I get Alfie is dumb, but his parents, should've foresee that they may not last, wasn't he 19 and this is first adult relationship. Zoe's parents too, especially her being the older and more successful person in the relationship, and the whole "ring and bump by 30". I know property and businesses can be sold, brought or dissolved, but if alfie was my kid, I would've sat down with him and asked him for serious he is with zoe, because having also those assets would make it harder to walk away. Zoe's parents too should've had the same talk with her.
