Well, whenever I've had my hair done I've been lucky to have hairdressers who won't blindly do what you want and will modify it to make it look nicer for you. And believe me, they were right as if they'd done what I wanted I'd have looked awful! Have I been lucky?

I’ve had my fair share of hairdressers cut my hair how I’ve asked despite it being very unflattering. However the one thing I’ve always had them refuse is to dye it or bleach it if it’s already super damaged. But unless what you’re doing is badly damaging or will make your hair fall out they’ll usually do what is asked for by the client.
