I'd like to add, although Paul is clearly not a threat she had told him the kids ages, that she doesn't put her in underwear, and what nursery and school they both attend. Had he been a raging psychopath there would be nothing stopping him from going to those schools and claiming to be family and picking them up. Luckily he isn't of any danger too them but she doesn't know that. There is absolutely no common sense used with her and she could have left them open to danger if he was someone else.
