Can I join please? I don’t get weighed though I do measurements and go by my clothes fitting better/worse

I’m going back to America in 7 weeks time so I want to lose a bit of weight before then and I have a pair of jeans I want to fit into by Christmas (I’m an 18/20 now and they’re a 16)

My first ~Wednesday Weigh-in~ for the WLAHL Christmas Challenge, (but week 2 of my efforts)!

It's been an OK week. I've been fairly conscious of what I've been eating and I've kept up with my promise to myself to walk each morning (M-F), and I lost a lot initially then gained the last few days - I suspect TOTM Also, crisps.

Starting weight (17/08/22): 114.3kg /251.9lb
Current weight (31/08/22): 111.7kg/ 246lb
Christmas goal weight (21/12/22): 103.5kg/ 228.1lb

Weight down: 2.6kg /5.7lb
Weight to go: 8.2kg / 18lb

TL;DR: A 1.7kg/ 3.7lb loss this week

A good start, and it puts me about 2.5 weeks ahead of where I thought I might have been, a handy buffer which should help keep my spirits up when it slows down.

This week I need to remember to leave my purse in the car when I'm at work so I don't buy snacks to cheer me up or give me an excuse to take a break

It's been super motivational to me knowing that you lot are trying, sharing, losing and gaining and that not one of us is finding it a breeze - thanks, Team WLAHLCC!

Ooo love this!! I lost 10kgs with calorie deficit and exercise last year, then piled it all back on when I brought my house. Going to try and use the same method this time but without lockdowns preventing holidays and socialising it is going to be more difficult. I've got about 3 weeks worth of holidays planned in the next 16 weeks. Aiming to lose 0.5kg per week to keep it reasonably achievable.

Height: 169cm
Start Weight: 78kg
Christmas Goal Weight: 70kg

I am going to try and do 30 mins exercise at 70% max heart rate every day I am not away from home .

Lunch - Homemade Potato & Leek Soup 343 cal
Dinner - Sausage, Chips & Curry from the chippy (matchday ritual) I hope around 1000 cals or less

Hi everyone hope you don't mind a new member joiner I've been struggling to shift the 15kg or so I've put on since COVID. I've been struggling with some health and mental health issues which feel like a barrier to getting healthier and losing weight but the weight also affects my health and MH so its all very circular! I just want to feel good in myself and also feel happier about my appearance again. I've been slowly working through couch to 5k on treadmill, its way too humid (80% humidity!) where I live to run outside in the summer. Going to add swimming and maybe some weight training too.

I am 30, 5'6"
Current weight: 80kg

Joining in to hopefully keep me motivated!

My start weight: 69kg (20th June 2022)
Current weight: 65.4kg
Goal weight: 57kg

I hit my goal weight before lockdown and then covid and a few personal events have meant the weight has crept up.
Just finished my current PT block and I’m not continuing due to timing with me starting a new job where I’m in the office full time. Normally exercise 4/5 times a week and I’m in a calorie deficit but hoping I wont fall off the waggon when I go back to the office.
One plus side though is that I’ll be getting a lot more steps in now as I’ll be walking to and from the train station!

Foooood today:

B: porridge, chia seeds and raspberries
L: warburton thins with Philli light and salami
D: honey mustard chicks thins with new potatoes and carrots and peas (this was )
S: iced coffees x2
Cal totals: 1700

Start weight 198.5 Lbs/ 90kg 7/7/22
Current weight 182 Lb/ 82.55kg 1/9/22

Today was weigh day for me! I got my 1stone certificate and also slimmer of the week so I was pleased (lost 4lb since last weigh)

I’ve been quite good food wise… I’m used to healthier options. Salads. Not even craving any junk. I can happily take the kids to McDonalds and give it a miss. According to my weekly stats on MFP I’m consuming on average 1000-1200 calories a day… some days are higher than others but the higher ones are generally counteracted with exercise.

My kids are back to school Monday. Hopefully this will mean that I can start getting back to a normal routine and going to the gym again. I haven’t been properly for years. I’d say since the first lockdown really. But I want to get back into it as the gym will be my maintenance too once I reach my target.

Everyone is doing so well! Keep up the motivation x
