No my sister did quite well. She was pretty cut up about it. I no longer live close to my sister anymore.

I don’t know. I’d want to know where my loved ones remains were. But yeah it’s awful.
I think in the James Bulger case, they were skipping school. I might be wrong. But in any case, they should BOTH still be locked up for that specific crime. What bothered me is that I am only a couple of years younger than those evil boys. They both received new lives, new names etc. What if you found out your other half was one of those boys? How can you trust a system that allows that? They may have been 10 but one of them is back in prison for child sex offences. Neither of them should have ever left prison. I think James’ mum should be at least given that. She has campaigned for years for justice for James, what a strong woman she is.We covered Hamza Khan in a training course at work and I cried.
The little girl who was murdered by her dad after he’d always been cruel and violent towards her. He pretended a book case had fallen on her. There were videos of him raging and swearing at someone and she’s just stood there expressionless. Poor wee soul
Rikki Neave is the one that sticks with me the most. Alone all night age 6?! Out on the street alone at midnight? His mother might not have murdered him herself but her downright neglect meant he got murdered.
Obviously James Bulger too. Now I have kids of my own, I wonder how these kids are allowed out so young on their own? Age 10 is young to be in a shopping centre unsupervised, isn’t it?
So wrong that they were released with new identities. One of them has been arrested a few times since, IIRC it was for possession of indecent images. He’s also told people who he really is and recent photos of him were going around on Twitter. Won’t be long until he’s locked up again I think.
And I think you can get fined for sharing it. Didn’t the woman out of Shameless share it and then got arrested?
I think he might be in prison now. I’m sure I read that he has asked not to be released.

This happened in my town. The mum wasn’t there but I just can’t imagine her pain. It’s not the first time that man has drunk drove and he’s pleaded not guiltyThis is quite a recent one but it haunted me. Dad, 2 children and the family dog were killed in front of the mum by a drunk driver when they were out walking in the late district. I have 2 children and the thought of going on a day out and coming home alone is just too much to bare. I think of her often and hope she is doing ok.
Two tube related ones. The kings cross fire and the Moorgate crash. Moorgate hsppened just before I was born but has always made me wonder what happened. I don’t believe the driver was trying to kill himself.

The German pilot who flew the passenger plane into mountains. There was a school trip on board. Such a monstrous thing to do. He was suicidal. He didn’t need to kill all those people with him.

i remember my mother just crying her eyes out over the fact that cunty uncle had let bro down-she swore someone ’up above’ was watching out for him that week (I think they’d fucked off by the following weekend tho,as he got hit by a car and broke his leg,but at least he healed in the end)

It’s very scary isn’t it, that we have a justice system that lets people pretty much get away with something as unbelievable sickening as this.
I feel for both the parents, their marriage broke down as they both blamed themselves for what happened. Absolutely heartbreaking.
I’m sure one of them; Jon Venables has been in trouble a few times since for having child porn on his computer, and been given a new identity each time? Don’t want to google this to confirm as it’s late and don’t want to read anything too horrific right now.
Lee Rigby still really gets to me. My partner is in the same regiment so it hit him and the guys hard. Plus the thought that a soldier can be so brutally attacked out of nowhere, not in uniform, not deployed makes my blood boil. The footage of the attackers gloating and justifying their actions made me sick.
I come from a very large family where almost all the men are in the Army and there have been countless horrible incidents that have resulted in soldiers and their families not being allowed to the local town, curfews to ensure soldiers safety etc, but this incident is by far the worst and most heinous I can remember of my life time.

Baby P has alwaya stayed with me, I was in school at the time (maybe 14) and it broke my heart reading what happened to that poor little boy.
Also, Holly Wells & Jessica Chapman’s murder..I remember my parents discussing the case and said that Maxine Carr had more to do with it than she led on. I was in primary school at the time around the same age, my parents were so scared to let me & my sister out of their sight

this has always played on my mind!! I do think he’s somewhere in the landfill, must be awful for his family not having any closure
