Got home from work around 8.15, helped get the kids sorted for school/nursery and husband did the school run while I had a shower and stuck on a load of washing. Folded clean laundry to be put away, tidied away toys in living room, had a roll with square sausage and a cup of tea then went to bed. Woke up at 1.30 as husband had to collect 5yo from school early to take him to specialist eye appointment, so 3yo stayed at home with me. Made him a snack and watched Inside Out with him, too tired was nice to chill. Later put up more Christmas decorations/lights outside and am now making dinner.

Woke up at 6:45am.
Normal morning routine and out the house by 7:25am. Had to defrost the car today which was a bloody pain.
Arrive at work for 7:45am. Usually I stay at school to work until 5pm but I was exhausted today and really couldn't be bothered so left 20 mins after all the kids had left.
4:00pm - Home with a lovely takeaway (knowing full well I'm going to be hungry again by 8/9pm).
Had a quick zoom meeting at 4:45pm.
I'm planning to go see my mum later (single person support bubble). Might miss I'm a Celeb tonight so I can watch two in a row Friday night. Wild Friday night I know. Will definitely have a smaller dinner later too.
I should play catch up on some marking and paperwork that needs doing but not like I've got any plans over the weekend. Thank you Boris.

That’s very little sleep, especially after working  how did you function rest of the day?

Not much, as always. Slept better last night. Woke up at 6
We went for a big walk to the prom & had an hour at the park with the little one. Walked back
I nipped in Asda. Was gonna buy my fella an advent calendar but they were all crap. Spotted this "cheese roulette" and we love cheese so I got it
Got home put baby down for nap. So we played cheese roulette. Spin the dice you eat the cheese the dice says
There was a proper dark red cheese we both had half it was sooooo spicy probs the spiciest thing I've ever had. This was at 2pm and we can still taste it
I developed a bit of a headache in the afternoon so I went for a nap. Not done much else cos I feel sick, just lying on the couch :(

Bunch of IT Stuff
Had a nice 20 mins with my girl via Zoom
Decided that Boris Johnson is a clueless twit!
Drank another bottle of wine
Showered and pampered
Want to spend the evening with my girl but I know I can't
Had a couple of BLTs and a Cornetto.
Had a Zoom with g/f She'll be spending the w/e with me, and duck Boris and his bullshit tiers.
Showered again. In my dressing gown watching IT Crowd
Done for another day

Day off so went to see my 89 year old Nan. I look after her. We had a nice day.

The death of Maradona came on the news and my Nan informed me he was a drug dealer 🤔. She also told me that she had wanted to try sourdough and eggs yesterday because it's all the rage but it was too hard for her false teeth so she has a whole loaf she can't use 😁.

Came home, had my dinner while catching up on Tattle. Had a mini rant because Boris has put my arse in tier two. Now in bed with a human and a cat.

I had a teams meeting for college this morning, done some Christmas and grocery shopping this afternoon, come home and walked the dogs and we walked to meet my youngest daughter from work. We heard about a family who due to no faults of their own, have nothing for Christmas, so I went online to buy them gifts, clothes and Christmas Eve boxes for the children and Mum. My children listened to their story and have decided when they get paid tomorrow they want to buy gifts for the family too. I have also cried lots after hearing about this family, then cried more when I told my husband about said family, cried when I was talking to my children about them and cried some more when my children told me of their intentions for this wee family. We do not have a lot of money by any means, and my husband works very hard to provide for us and this allows me to go to college to eventually get a better career, but my heart is so full that my family would want to put others before themselves for someone we have never met, or even know their names, they really make me proud.

Sorry for the long paragraph! 😏

I had the joys of finding a company to deal with my broken down septic tank 🤢. Posted some parcels and then headed down to the beach for a run. Had an exciting evening with a Netflix and an M&S vegan lasagne for one eaten straight out of the foil container ... living the high life 😂😂

I hope the company can fix your septic tank soon, what a ghastly nightmare for you. Oh, you can’t beat Netflix and a wee ready meal, feels like a take away dinner when you do that! Even better a quick wash and into the recycling with it, happy days. We live near the beach and it has been all of our dogs (past & present) favourite place, along with mine, it’s good for the soul.😁

6 mile run this morning. Could have done more but I couldn't be arsed
Did some washing ironing, hoovering
IT work for 4-5 hours
Read news for an hour (not MSM)
Bad news about SA, which pissed me off
Chatted to g/f
Enjoyed a rather fab dinner of chili and chicken fajitas
Showered and pampered
Now have a bottle of wine box of Maltezers, settling down for a couple of films - The Shining and The Haunting (with the lights off!)
Day done
