Someone mentioned not too long ago on Theatreboard that it was intended to go into the Troubadour at Wembley Park for spring/summer 2023

There could be a few reasons for this:

• wanting to get rid of certain FOH staff
• not having the money to pay them 5 days dark
• not having enough venues to reassign staff to in order to pay them
• wanting to re employ them on new contracts that are worse in some way

Yeah that I'd a bit poor. But the fire and rehire tool is widely used across loads of industries

Anyone else spotted the Twitter beef between Mark Shenton and All That Glitters? Even Lily Allen is getting involved 🤭 I find theatre bloggers insufferable at times but I have to admit I’ve always thought Shenton to be a bit of a wick

I am pretty sure it’s not the first time he has made comment about both Lily’s performance and that quote (so much so I double checked the dates of the tweets as I am sure I have seen similar beef before)

I follow All That Dazzles have seen Daz at a few shows and he always seemed polite and pleasant. As he says everyone has to start somewhere - something Mark has obviously forgotten

he’s definitely been given what for! Lily seemed quite reasonable and straightforward with her response.
