It is odd. My understanding is that Nintendo are only selling the premium version which includes 2 DLCs (1 released by the end of the year and one by next summer), however Steam are selling both standard and premium versions.

Have you played the demo of Paleo Pines it’s so fun.
They did a price drop on steam for both versions right before release which is pretty shady and there were some people who said they’d been charged the full original prices for the respective versions despite the drop/that they were told they’d have to cancel and reorder to get the lower price.
The nintendo one didn’t get the drop and they blamed Nintendo not letting them but other developers said that wasn’t accurate.
It all just seems a bit hinky tbh and makes me wonder if the DLC will come and be as promised or if something is going on behind the scenes. Hence waiting for a good sale.
Anyone played travellers rest? That’s addictive I love that game.
Sea of thieves is finally adding a new private mode called safer seas in December, finally can look forward to playing without trolls disturbing me or having to check a map every 3 seconds to keep away from them

I know they originally wanted the game to be a small bit of PvP an that's why they said at first they would never do private/safe servers but it's because of the trolls that people have gotten fed up with the game an I think they are realising that now, the only way to keep players was going to be having to offer this

Sot is one of my favourite games, I've got over 1000 hours in the game. (And still quite crap at PvP compared to many
) But I get so annoyed with the toxic PvP players! I've quit playing so many times becauae of them
PVP is fine in the right circumstances.
When someone is clearly busy doing a mission or minding their own business, there is absolutely no reason to engage with them and THAT is when crappy players will come
long and ruin a game for you.
Happens a lot in SOT and GTA Online.
The latter is practically unplayable now.
So I'm quite happy with private servers such as this.

I agree, PvP can be fine when both parties agree to it, there has been times in SoT when someone's shot off a "warning shot" an me an friends have been like fine let's battle, but if someone is clearly trying get away then it should be obvious they don't want PvP
I always go invite only serves whenever I play GTA, haven't played it in ages but there was no way you'd be left alone if you were in a public server, it is a bit of a bummer it's only a 30% cut you are getting rather than even a 50% but I'll take that just to be left alone an finally enjoy missions myself

This! I had just started the other dah, filled my ship up with food ect. And a guy chased me for like 15 minutes just to sink me and sail off
It was obvious I didn't want to fight.
Had another one that joined an alliance to then keep ramming me. Wait for us to pull up to an island and sink us, spawn kill us several times and then log off
I need to do all the Tall Tales a few more times for the accomodations. Have never bothered because of getting into fights so often. Done the first 3 the 5 times needed but gave up

I honestly stopped playing when I was going on myself, the only time I ever played was where friends were going on an there was a ton of us, we would jump into game chat an talk with the ships we meet to see if they could join our alliance just so we knew they would leave us alone, sometimes they went off an done their own thing which was fine but other times they would join with us an they'd have space for our other friends an we would end up with a whole server alliance but it was rare we got thatThis! I’ve not bought it yet, I may get it on sale if that ever happens. I’ve bought a few farming sims lately and just felt a bit meh, like they were style over substance.
Sometimes I feel I have too many an am like why am I paying for the same game numerous times lol, am still really early game with Fae farm but I do like that day one is unlimited energy, I cleaned up the entire farm plus town then went fishing an caught bugs so I had 5 tables worth to sell
