I used to enjoy the game style of the original Elite (c 64) and Elite + on the amiga.

I've never found a suitable replacement for their particular gameplay type.

I wanted to play Elite Dangerous but it's online only or something and I don't do online gaming. I also read somewhere it's been discontinued or something.

If anyone can suggest a decent space travel/combat/trading game along those lines for PC then I'd be grateful.

As far as I know, Elite Dangerous is still going. Haven't played for a while. You don't need to interact with anyone; you can play 'solo' as it were.

I'm working on romancing Sam 🤣
I was going to go for Andreja. But Sam called me gumdrop and I was won over 🤣

I started to play on Wednesday but I had toothache and couldn’t concentrate so gave up. Going to play over the weekend.

Spoke to my other half on the phone properly for the first time in a wee while today (he's working abroad) and he told me he played like a solid 10 hours of Starfield on his day off this week and then got an error message and when he rebooted it corrupted all his save files and he had to go right back to the start! He was absolutely devastated!

I managed an hour of Starfield today then I got a headache. Annoying as I was getting into it.

I also get a headache if I play Skyrim on PS5 on the same TV but Nintendo games like ACNH and Stardew are fine. I mentioned this to my brother a while ago about Skyrim and he said it’s maybe the 4K tv. I’ll need to see if the settings can be changed.

I actually had to stop playing Stardew because I got a headache every time I played it!

Has any played Fae Farm? It’s similar to Stardew, ACNH, Harvest Moon…. But with magic and fairy wings. I’m obsessed.

I’m waiting for a good sale, the weirdness around the initial pricing on both steam and switch put me off paying full price.
