The audacity and narcissism of her to get upset about being rejected from Victoria's Secret. As if she actually had a chance and it was such a shock to not get a call back. Eh calling Ashkenazi Jews “white Europeans” just doesn’t sit right with me, as it doesn’t seem good faith in most cases. But ofc it is the popular way of criticising Israel these days and ofc they’re “white presenting” a lot of the time with all that it entails. Whatever your political views on the indigenous aspect (and ignoring the scientific evidence that it’s a distinct ethnic group from Eastern European) it just seems odd/unpleasant given we know that over 90% of for example Polish Jews were exterminated in 1940s specifically due to not being “white European enough”. It’s a nuanced issue that deserves respect as one would grant to any other minority group.
Sorry for the off topic rant…but it’s an issue close to my heart with an increase in antisemitism I’ve witnessed lately.
I really don’t care how close to your heart it is. The fact that children are being starved and dismembered by constant bombardament is a little more serious. I have Jewish family members, they are absolutely disgusted by what the Israeli government is doing. But then again, they don’t live in Israel because they have zero connection to the Middle East. Still, you can't call out everyone who calls themselves and IS of Jewish faith on the web even if it is irrelevant to the discussion, just beause it triggers you.
I very much agree with @Bddz57 the current rise of antisemitism worldwide is unnacceptable and despicable and I'd like people to remember that a large amount of Jewish Israelis with European roots are actually the descendants of the few lucky ones who survived the Holocaust. Full stop. Oh and they want their hostages back unscathed.
As much as I'd wish to see an end of suffering of all the affected civilians, I have zero tolerance for antisemitism. We've fought decades to heal and change that.

Haven't been listening to their podcast but saw that their latest is about marriage and relationships and cannot go beyond 20 mins as Gary is just being dismissive of any opinions Valeria has and he just dominates the conversation, he would be the biggest mansplainer, major ICK!
It just screams that she wants out but he’ll never let her leave. Any of her feeling are dismissed. Gary is nothing without Valeria.
Yep and I get the impression he would definitely be the type to make it super difficult and sabotage her if she started a serious conversation and decided to leave. His brittle ego would be so attacked and he would do stuff like talk tit about her online, argue about the custody and make all sort of stupid tit.
Nevertheless, I really do hope she will find a way to cut herself loose, she would FLY HIGH! She spent all her 20s and early thirites trying to figure out who she is why under his control and raising three kids. She would really thrive without him!

I think Gary needs to stop (or Valeria needs to stop Gary) from trying to make themselves a dynamic duo. Valeria is the brand. Valeria’s audience is not necessarily Gary’s audience and that’s ok. I think it’s a stretch to say they should divorce and Valeria will thrive without him blah blah

Ok random thought because I’ve seen ANOTHER clip where Gary is like “blah blah A MAN blah blah blah” and I’m thinking…what if Gary and Valeria know that Gary’s commentary drives engagement so they just keep egging it on for the algorithm. I saw it referenced on her instagram and then watched the full YouTube video and now a few days later I’m realizing I’m blocked on instagram. I know I didn’t comment on the clip but may have liked someone else’s comment.
She is really ridiculous. 90% of the comments on instagram and YouTube were saying how awful he is. I used to think she was really wonderful, wise and authentic and that he was as just the problem, but I’m thinking otherwise now and plan to disengage with her content entirely.

I feel like she's been living in such a bubble since they moved into that secluded, massive house in Miami to escape the pandemic regulations in Canada... :/ She used to be so much more normal, open and relatable. Her life now resembles that of a Kardashian more, with their huge cold mansions and staring at the phone 24/7. She used to have a pretty normal life, with an office, colleagues and friends back in Canada. I am also hoping she will find sth new to do, she's capable of so much more, if she only would make it out of Big Gary's control. I would go mad if someone would talk to me like that all he time.

I've been following her for quite a long time but not really engaging deeply with her content.
What I see tho is that her podcast is getting really boring, she just released another episode...interviewing her 10 year old son. I mean, it's fine I guess, I haven't listened to it yet but her podcast feels more like family therapy. Her husband, her children, her brother...she just doesn't have anyone to interview, I guess nobody is interested...
Her husband and her definitely come off as quite arrogant lately as well
