I have a name that can be spelt multiple ways - I don t care how people spell it, it would never cross my mind to correct someone or to be offended or annoyed if someone spelt it wrong! X

I remember there was a Barbie with stretchmark and spot stickers. Or maybe it was another brand, I can't seem to find a picture 😭

NVM I FOUND IT:
Seeing how Barbie originally was a joke based off of prostitutes, I’d say this is a step in the right direction.

Yes! 🥴 All wrong man. Where was this when I wanted to have a sing song to 1D? Noooo, had to sit getting pins and needles in my arse belting out ‘KUMBAYA MY LORD’.

(Mind you, Kumbaya is a bop. 🫡)
Yeah, those were the classics 🥲

It would’ve been Steps or something for me back then. Kids today don’t know how good they’ve got it. 😝

Yeah but the point is marking exam papers during the summer is NOT a standard part of a normal school teachers job as per their contract. It’s not part of the role. Someone up thread was implying it was something teachers do during the summer as standard.

Yes agree, change the subject!

34 is too warm, love it on holiday but otherwise it’s just too warm!!!
Your initial quote was wrong. That’s why I replied. They can make. Loads do. Not really worth it for the £££ based on the number of exams to go through tho

34 degrees in Turkey or Spain - love it. Sweating my tits off in my lounge in England - don’t love it. A solid 25 degrees is plenty ☀

Alsoooo I think Greggs is overrated🤣

Why do we not get the same outrageous indignation when girls pop their boobs out for money or to sunbathe etc?

I have no filling in this sandwich, I BF some of mine and FF the others or a mix of both in the days when bottle feeding was the thing to do..

I have no problem with either. I don't really care for women who do porn or lads mags but they don't seem to me to get as much stick as BF photos.
Because if I’m not mistaken lads mags don’t exist anymore…

Why is it different though? Totally get that, might eat my words if I do have kids but how is spending tons of money on taking kids to expensive activities a requirement these days? Would really like to know what's changed that this is now a thing
Was your mother a stay at home mum?

It's personal taste I guess, I find the taste of most fizzy drinks a bit vile but I don't really have a sweet tooth. Work with a guy who will drink about 10 cans of Pepsi Max a day and wonders why he's not in the best of health so there are extremes too!
I know someone like this also. Litres of chemical laden Pepsi Max, mars bar for breakfast and cheap ice cream EVERY DAY! and obv they have health issues. Not good to see someone do that to themselves but it's their choice :censored:

American portions are off the scale. It actually puts me off eating when I'm there. There is also this weird thing there that it's cheaper to eat out than to go to the supermarket (that was the case in New Jersey anyway) which is just insane.
it the same in other states too re cheaper to eat out.
Their portions sizes are obscene i ate one meal where i felt physically sick with the amount i ate and my plate looked I'd hardly touched any of it! Also in NY hardly any restaurants did child portions or menus which i found weird - what do they do? - order an adults portion and let the kids leave half of it or share ? i ended up just getting starter for mine and even that was too much !

As a matter of fact I do say the same about people running with tans and sunburns, and advice everyone to wear clean SPF 50 sunscreen all year around and not just during summer. Health is wealth. I’ve been through a lot myself and have seen enough people dying due to the illnesses they got from obesity.
There is nothing wrong with helping people get better and healthier. I’ve never seen an obese person who regretted losing the weight. Depends where people live, in Scandinavia the government pushes you to be healthy, in The Netherlands everyone bikes around, soda drinks are in tiny bottles. I wouldn’t expect americans to think the same, because the system there is so broken.
we have numpties / self-appointed health ministers policing other peoples bodies in america too 🇺🇸
