In response to the poster mentioning "rock bottom" as a euphemism for spanking a tight bum - you sweet summer child.

Far more likely to involve shoving gravel up your bum for kicks these days.

Saying that many years ago I watched a medical docu thing that saw a gay man and his partner rushed in because one of them had third degree burns to his intestines and anus. Yep, these jokers decided to cast a personalised dildo using concrete, which as we all knows heats as it sets. Truly rock bottom.
Sounds painful. But if it was a man and his partner that's different to porn/sex work.

I love Lilt. I had some recently during the heatwave with ice and wondered why I hadn't had it for so long.

However, I noticed they've changed the logo to look identical to the Fanta logo and it even has a little Fanta logo on the side. So you can bet your bottom dollar it'll soon be rebranded to "Fanta Pineapple and Grapefruit".

I feel like all the big companies eventually ruin all local brands - Cadbury being the main example.
I love Lilt as well and have noticed the farta better not change the totally tropical taste

Pepsi Max won't really affect health much apart from teeth.
It doesn't even have sugar so I'm not sure how bad it is on your teeth - according to one google search artificial sweeteners don't affect your teeth

My dentist told me to only drink sugar free stuff so I'll trust her on that

Agreed but not with the part where you say not eating stuff because of calories. I think that's what being knowledgeable about calories can result in- being able to make better choices, some things I'd rather just not eat cause they're so high in calories and I'd rather choose something else that's lower kcal. Still not an eating disorder.
If you get to a more extreme end of things it can become an eating disorder, obviously:

I don’t like Fanta lemon but I’ve never tried the abroad version

Fanta fruit twist is the best Fanta and apple tango is one of the best fizzy drinks!!
Fanta always used to be a lot nicer in France than it did in the UK to the point it was actually nice but not had it there for about 20 years so maybe different now

My MiL is obsessed with Korean drama 😂
She’ll be talking Korean soon the amount she watches
It started with BTS for my sisters. One of my sisters can read and write now. She has been learning to almost 3 years now.

All of us are dead and train to Busan are the greatest zombie movies ever.

Given the opinions you’ve voiced before it’s obvious you wouldn’t see someone buying the costume. Doesn’t mean everyone else cares as much as you though

Anyway, Pepsi is better than Coke. Whatever happened after sugar tax made the Diet version of Coke taste like fizzy cardboard at best. Pepsi has at least retained some of its taste

I also really don’t understand how Diet drinks were affected. They all had no, or very little, sugar to begin with. I’m guessing that the sugar versions tasted so horrible that they had to make the diet ones taste worse to elevate the sugar ones?
I didn't bring it back up, I was replying to someone else that did. I don't care particularly. But obviously touched a few nerves the amount my post has been re commented.

I’m sure there was a debate on here about temperatures feeling different in other countries compared to here 😅. I think it totally feels different.
Ps it’s only 21 now and I’m that sweaty after a walk I’ve had to change my entire outfit 😳
Humidity probably has a lot to do with it

Also it’s shocking how little shade there is in many places so walking, or generally just trying to enjoy the weather, is that much more unbearable. I wonder how we plan to adapt to this if it becomes more common

Picking oddball characters production know will kick off to make entertainment is grim now we know better.
There was also the no-hoper's put on telly in Pop Idol, X Factor and early Britain's Got Talent. Little Britain mocked the uneducated and those with mental health issues. In just over ten years, the Noughties has started to seem rather unenlightened in some respects.

There’s loads of small festivals and gigs out there, I don’t like the big ones much either so I go to smaller (and cheaper) ones, loads of options so not sure why you think it’s all arenas. Even a lot of the huge names often do small warm up gigs if you keep an eye out
I don’t know if it’s classed as a small festival but Womad looks like it would be fun and less stressful than Glastonbury.
