Look at her third most recent tiktok (don't worry, you don't need the app)

In case you can't see it, here's a copy of the text:
"The Head of Sixth Form saying she can't put my photo on the Head Girl Wall bc I was rejected from Oxford and I'm taking a gap year"
"Me, having worked hard my whole school life :("
"Me one day graduating from a uni I LOVE after a gap year I LOVED"

My thoughts on this: really doubt that's true lol? And she tries to make out that there's some stigma around gap years, but they're literally what every rich kid does after A levels, including those who get A*s... Also, it's really weird that, over two years on, she's still going on about Oxford.
Ugh jades TikTok.....
It’s like she’s just trying too hard to make this relatable content but in doing so she actually makes herself look like a bit of a privileged snob. Either that, or she comes across as just being this ‘beacon of positivity’ and ‘guru of all mental health’ and bangs on that ‘loving yourself Is the key to all happiness’. She’s just in another world. Completely. And. Utterly. Away. With. The. Fairies.

I really think she’ll end up doing some kind of job like “wellness Coach” or something and not using her degree anyway

Agreed. I could be wrong but not every school even has Head Girls/Boys. My bog standard state school sure as hell didn’t and hardly anyone went on to uni. In fact, my school didn’t even have a sixth form 😂 you were booted out at 16 to go to a college if you wanted todo your a levels, if not, they didn’t care!

it makes me laugh that the fact that she didn’t get her head girl picture up and didn’t quite get into oxford are equated to some sort of struggle. Where’s the perspective? I get it’s tough to face rejection, I was rejected from Oxford for my MA but I literally never mention it because it doesn’t matter and you move on??

It's because getting rejected from Oxford still bothers her. That's why she's always so on it with mentioning how great Minerva is because she wants to try and prove to the world that she's not bothered by her Oxford rejection even though she so clearly is.

I really liked her back in A-Level, she seemed like she had her life together but still relatively normal, compared to Ruby who seemed stuck at 11 years old despite being 18. Now, she's just cringey. She bigs up how amazing and hard minerva is, but as PLENTY of other people have said, it's no different to normal uni in terms of seminar preparation, readings, group projects and assignments.
What really bugs me though is her tone about things like mental health, the way she describes it as a matter of "being positive" and "finding lessons" in hard times, or for that matter, the implication that it's just a case of yoga or meditation in the mornings and that will cure things.
Also, she's trying so hard to be relatable to her audience and it's just awful. The "cool" music, which is legitimately quite good sometimes but it just seems like her trying to be unique but ending up as a "not like other girls" type of girl. And the little dances she does to the music, it's all just a bit cringe. But, while I'm on the subject of cringey attempts to be relatable, I genuinely don't understand why her fans are so obsessed with Folkert, I find him so annoying, and the relationship between them just feels... weird. Like either it's really forced for the camera or it's actually a wee bit creepy... could be reading too much into it though.

Ours did but I never knew who the Head Boy was and the only time I knew who the Head Girl was was in year 13 because the job came from my year group (and of course it was Miss Bossy Perfect!). In fact, come to think of it, that was the first time I even knew we had HB/HGs. We definitely didn't put pictures of them and their achievements up on the walls.

We had a head girl and head boy but the photos were used on a website and only those with notes me achievement went up on a huge wall, so if you got good grades etc but I went to a terrible comprehensive so they used it to try and engage with the younger years

Head Boy/Head Girl is just a popularity contest among whose the biggest teachers pet. Jade is one of those girls who can’t cope that she’s isn’t teachers pet any longer.

Think shes still hung up on Oxford because it’s the first rejection she ever got and her MLM beliefs were tested. Instead of learning and using it as a chance to grow she went to the opposite of oxford instead to sore the sting probably. Couldn’t be at Bristol with other rejects and have second best in her mind now could she

The fact that her Dad is high up in an MLM makes so much sense and gives insight into her mindset.

I def agree that she’s somehow not over Oxford. Either that or she’s just kind of scraping the barrel for TikTok ideas

Hi everyone, I do think that jade is a nice person but have been really quite offended by her conveyed ignorance when it comes to mental health and privilege. It really shows her lack of awareness despite preaching about that regularly. I don’t normally comment on threads like this but I want to know if her Australia trip was gifted in any format as none of her posts are labelled as an ad despite it being alluded to being so.

Hi! Love the nice intro! :)

I agree with the whole mental health thing! It’s defo a problem that she tries to put herself across as so knowledgeable! Unless you’ve been trained Professionally I don’t think you should be giving out mental health advice on such a large platform! Talk about it sure, but don’t give advice.

and I’m not sure if it was gifted. I know Jade and Holly Gabrielle’s trips were organised by the same person, but I don’t know if Jades was gifted to the same extent as Holly’s. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was though!

I'm starting to think large parts of it were because she used the same company as Holly Gabrielle whose trip was completely gifted.

The Melbourne aspect was almost certainly gifted. Other parts I'm not sure. She payed for her greyhound bus pass but everything else is really unclear
