Does anyone else find it annoying how she seems to laugh at everything? She is constantly laughing whilst she talks...
Jade trying to make herself feel all valid by playing off people commenting on the whole ‘too confident’ and ‘posts too many selfies’ thing on people being jealous and insecure is RIDICULOUS. That’s such a high school mindset, which if anything, is damaging to yourself if you think like that, because you’ll always be placing blame on others. People are allowed to have opinions on others, it’s only natural. The fact Jade clearly feels so threatened by it (especially after she shares her life on the internet) is silly to me. She’s an InFlueNcer and SpEciAL so ‘everyone must be jealous of me and super insecure’. This once again just shows her whole saviour complex of constantly thinking she’s so so worthy and amazing and everyone else around her is beneath her and jealous, especially if they think something negative or they ‘aren’t like minded’.
Also, I agree with whoever said all that about her making it seem like the people she knew at home were stupid from her instagram caption. The fact she’s always banging on about ‘likeminded people’ at Minerva just screams to me like she’s constantly trying to prove to HERSELF that Minerva is worth it. We don’t care if she’s always around likeminded people..... that’s what friends are??!??? Doesn’t matter if you’re at Minerva or not. She just screams inner insecurity to me.

This is the thing, I don’t ever see her mention anyone she was at school with, she seems to think Minerva is special and attracts a magical kind of person, no jade, much like other unis, it’s full of middle class and upper class people who have money in order to access it, much like oxford is, probably without the same academic esteem
This! And her over the top gestures, hands always flaying about. In her early days she seemed a lot more calm.
You wouldn’t know it from the majority of her instagram. I don't think she gets that close to people, the only person that she's seems to become close to over the years is Ruby. She'll occasionally post pictures with other people, but it seems like she rarely mentions them again. She comes off as quite superficial to me, borderline narcissistic.
She's doing a term in Berlin in September now. Another language to learn!
Another chance to be SUPER QUIRKY and learn a language and be a ~travelling queen~ (even though she’s paying a ridiculous amount in tuition and on travel).....
True! And I could be wrong but korean doesn't seem like an easy language to learn (starting from english), so I don't understand why she would start learning another language on top of that and dutch.
I mean, if her university is sooo difficult and she has soooo little time, how can she learn like three languages in one time?
AND learn ukulele. AND write awful comics. AND do youtube ecc... It seems to me that she's just doing everything badly instead of mastering just a couple of things, like a normal person, because she's decided to "stop being a perfectionist". Yeah, that makes sense.
She’ll never become fluent in German during her time in Berlin. My dad’s lived in Germany for over 30 years and he still wouldn’t pass as a native speaker. Wish she would just stick with one thing and try to actually to be good at it and not bounce around between a million things.

Yeh I think ( of all the Latin script language anyway) German is one of the hardest, all of those clauses etc
Plus really all she needs to know is a few simple phrases before she goes. Sure, try to pick up more as you're going about there, but why try and become 'fluent' when she's barely going to use it?
The thing is, most areas of Germany speak very good English as they’re made to learn it at such a young age, none of her classes will be taught in German, she is just a showboater!
I just think Jade is a massive culprit of romanticising and idealising everything in her day to day life. What others see as mundane and ‘everyday life’ Jade sees as ‘casual magic’. And then there’s the whole being ‘fluent’ in German. It’s like she’s really romanticising this IDEA of being fluent in German and studying there, when in reality, she probably won’t get close to learning the language properly, especially if she’s only there for a few months.
Like I say, I just think Jade wants her life to be magical and exciting, and I think she pushes away this idea of the mundane, day to day life. Even if she discusses mundane activities she’s always trying to make it seem AMAZING and SO OUT THERE. It just seems like she’s really insecure about her life not being this amazing, whimsical thing. It’s obnoxious and it just makes her come across as ‘away with the fairies’!

so Jade posted a tiktok about being a perfectionist and said that a levels “ruined her mental health”?? No doubt a levels are stressful but I feel like if her mental health got that bad she would’ve spoken about it. Ruined mental health is more than crying a few times and feeling situational pressure, it’s so much more. Petty gripe but seeing that pissed me off
