So my blood tests have come back and I need an appointment with the doctor so something has to be wrong. The doctor is going to call on Wednesday so now I’m going to be anxious about what could be wrong for basically a whole week.
I'm thankful that whatever is wrong atleast I’ll know about it soon but I can’t help but have such a dropping feeling in my stomach from worry

Another friend just told me she's pregnant.. I'm so happy for her, just feeling sad for me. Feel ridiculous saying it out loud so don't have anyone else to talk to about it. Grateful for this group ❤

Not ridiculous at all. Infertility is a cruel thing. I’m pregnant after a long battle and still weirdly feel sad about other peoples pregnancies. It’s as if my heart hadn’t quite accepted that I might actually be a mum one day. Any of my friends who are pregnant also gets hidden from my social media feeds. Sad that I can’t be happy for them but infertility changes you xxx

Hi everyone. I’m new here. 35, one little boy who’s 2. He took 8 months to conceive. I just tracked via the app that time & conceived at a time I shouldn’t have per the app so pure luck. This time I’m using OPK the last few months to try figure out my cycle. I’ve about a 38 day cycle. Trying Since Xmas. Everyone around me seems to be pregnant or announcing pregnancies so finding it tough. Hopefully a lucky month for us all.

AF finally arrived this morning, 6 days late! I’m actually relieved as I knew I wasn’t pregnant and just want to start a new cycle.

Period arrived yesterday morning, so no baby in 2021 for me which is so depressing, husband getting tested again tomorrow so at least some progress may happen soon

I really wish there was more advocation for real education on fertility, women’s reproduction and trying for a baby etc. I feel all of us have a similar story where you don’t realise how difficult it can be to start the road of having a baby.

I get the worry of teenage pregnancy but shoving teenagers on hormonal contraception for years until they want children isn’t the answer
This! I have spent my whole life trying not to get pregnant and it’s only now I’m learning so much. There’s so many things I just didn’t know. I was under the impression that if I miss one pill I will instantly get pregnant 🤣🙄 obviously I know it *could* happen but some real education is needed on what we’re putting in our bodies and more about fertility and conception IMO.

Hi everyone- just thought I would
Update as I’ve had to try and switch off the last few days. Last test was Sunday decided to test again this morning- again another V faint line only abit darker than Sundays. This a frrr not frer as I picked these up by accident so not too sure what the difference is to be honest. Anyways I have started to have some brownish discharge so I think AF is coming after a week late and causing more stress than ever.
Hope everyone is okay x
Hey I am so sorry it’s been stressful for you. You don’t know what direction your going. I can only imagine what your going through.
sorry to say I can’t see a line.
From what I have read on here from other women brown discharge doesn’t always indicate period but I don’t want to get your hopes up. Hopefully the other ladies can assist.

Today my AF came and I’m now starting to think maybe I need to give up in this journey to motherhood. My husband is significantly older and I’m now thinking I’m out of time. I feel like I’m in a dark place today. I have to really think about our next move. I am genuinely not ok today. I’ve had enough the last 2 years and a bit.

If anyone is up for trying a product, I highly recommend pre-seed! It’s a fertility lubricant. Loads of reviews on Amazon saying people got pregnant on the first try of using it. I can support these reviews as with my first pregnancy I tracked four cycles, three without using it and used it on the fourth and got pregnant. Second time round we were sort-of trying for a year with no cycle tracking, tracked one cycle then used it on the second tracked cycle and boom pregnant. Could be coincidence of course 🤷🏻‍♀️

Anyone got any advice on how to deal with people (mainly family members) who insist on a ‘positive attitude’ to get through ttc? It has been well over a year for us and the constant ‘if you don’t think about it, it will happen’ advice is really starting to grate on me, especially as they know I have PCOS so its a bit more than just a positive attitude? 🙄
Wow I feel this!
The whole 'just relax' 'forget about it' 'stop thinking about it' 'it'll happen when it's meant to' yep you've been saying that for over a year now your advice ain't worked????😂
Also really pisses me off when it's someone who got pregnant straight away and tells me I need to relax. They have NO IDEA what TTC for a long time feels like. I have one who actually acts a bit annoyed with the 'I've told you to just relax!!' When I have mentioned it a few months later again. Like as if I just did that it would happen and its annoying having to tell me again. Just feel like saying fuck off😑

you say that but the days after I’m certain I Ovulated (no OPK’s but measuring CM) I had the worst cramps!
I swear it’s like a switch is flicked and you’re on hyper alert. Why is the two week wait so LONGGGG. I’ve still got til Friday or Saturday and I deliberately haven’t bought any more tests so I literally can’t 😂

good luck!
It is isn’t it! It’s like your brain goes on a mad one for 2 weeks until AF shows up, is it just me that’s mental I immediately start thinking about my diary for the next 3 months like when would I tell people, what would I say when people realise I’m not drinking alcohol or coffee 🤣🤣
I feel like I lose the plot every month!

This is so good to read. I've literally been looking up reviews on pre seed this morning after using it this month. I actually thought about asking if anyone on this thread had used it with previous children. So strange! I'm on cycle 15 and finding it really hard so this is great. Im trying so hard not to let this get my hopes up though 😂

I'm so so sorry for your losses. The dream sounds horrific too. TTC is so hard, so I can't imagine how you feel. And I agree, pregnancy is everywhere. My SIL said I just think that because I'm trying. I'm not at all, I have scans and newborns on my social media nearly every day, there really was a lockdown baby boom. Its so hard for those that are still trying, to see, even though I am happy for them.
I feel like there’s also been a massive influx of influencers announcing pregnancies as it seems to be the new “in” thing to be a mummy blogger. I found Mother’s Day quite hard as there were a few of the inevitable influencer announcements. I also saw a post from an acquaintance referring to her newborn as the “happiest accident” ever. Don’t know why but that really bothered me

Can I join? This is my 4th cycle TTC. First month not using ovulation tests so it feels weird not knowing what stage I'm at but I've been less obsessive about everything. Last month I couldn't concentrate on anything else. Period due next Saturday.

AF arrived today 😢 Was so convinced I was pregnant this cycle, had so many of what I thought were symptoms. Drinking a large glass of wine 😢 On to cycle 5...(I know it’s not long compared to lots of you here but it’s still so upsetting.)

I was wondering if anyone with PCOS or anyone else knows the answer to this (I was diagnosed with PCOS at 23, am 30 now) ...I can’t find an answer online...

Can you have a period every month but not release an egg?

What I mean is...I have regular periods...they do vary from like 29-32 days but they are regular but now I’m starting to think maybe an egg is not being released? But could you have a period but no egg come out? I can’t seem to find an answer online, they just say if you are not having regular periods you are not ovulating 🤷🏻‍♀️

Thanks for any help ladies and sending baby dust to you all xxx

All of the swabs I had taken on Monday came back as normal today so I’m booked in for bloods next Monday to check out my hormone levels. After feeling very disheartened for so long I’m so glad to be going in a positive direction and finally receiving the level of care I expected from my doctors surgery. Getting in more light exercise to help get my weight down some more, if any of you lovely ladies have any tips/tricks that helped you lose weight effectively I’m all ears.

Sending everybody baby dust ✨ there will be babies in al of our futures 💗

I’m really struggling ...
there’s pregnancy everywhere and here I am sat in my bathroom on the floor at 2:55am because even after YEARS of trying we still haven’t managed, we’ve had now 5 miscarriages...
just feels like it’s not meant to be..

doesn’t help that every night this week I’ve had a dream that I’ve given birth to a small foetus you make out every little body part and I hold them close until I wake up... 💔

So I did a HPT, I couldn’t find FRER in any shops today. I think I have a very faint positive. Trying not to freak out yet as it is very faint and I’m still 1/2 days before AF🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻. Going to go to the £1 shop tomorrow and buy a whole load of cheapies 😅😅😅

Thankyou so much everyone for the love 💖 got my fingers and toes crossed that all will be good and my OH is super excited too 🥰

In case anyone was wondering, this month I used the pregnacare pre conception tablets that @Dipdab recommended. Again, could be coincidence but 🤷‍♀️

My main symptoms over the past week or so have been nausea throughout the day, cramping on and off, headaches particularly with strong smells like coffee or air freshener, extreme tiredness and inability to sleep at night! I also have broken out on my face but that could be the mask lol. I have sore boobs that has only come on today.

Wishing you all much luck xxx
Congratulations! So happy for you!
ive got my scan next week to confirm everything is okay I am about 6 weeks now so fingers crossed I don’t have another miscarriage.
Just wanted to say I also took the pregnacare pre conception tablets before I fell pregnant, I only took about 5 but hey something happened so always worth a shot!
Still lurking on here daily keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you all ❤
