Ah guys I'm 11dpo and I'm so anxious. I don't test like I used to I wait for my period. I know it'll come. I obviously have hope but 15 cycles later its hard to imagine. I'm so nervous I want Monday to hurry up but then I don't because I don't want it to come as I know I will just cry and cry! Anyone else get that dread? Everyone else I read seems to get excited, I wish I could still!

Sorry this may sound rank but I've randomly got sore spots on my chest and quite a few on my face since ovulation this month which is odd. My post pill acne cleared a couple of months ago so I'm like fabbbb it's back I guess. Got some cramps earlier for the first time this cycle. No implantation bleeding, not that I'm expecting it but I always end up googling that not everyone has it, to keep a bit of hope.
Sending you all luck for anyone else due on soon too!
Oh I get such dread, like I want to be put out of my misery but at the same time I want to be hopeful but then when I'm disappointed I am so angry with myself like why did I get so hopeful, tis a vicious circle!!

Thanks for checking in 🖤🖤
No sign of period today but stupid me got the wrong test - I got first response rapid result not the early result! I took one with FMU this morning and I’ve got the squintiest of squinty lines. So I’ll get a FRER today and test tonight or tomorrow 🤞🏻
Good luck. I’m due AF on Sunday, I’m too scared to test to avoid disappointment again. I haven’t had any usual cramps and my boobs ache but wondering if it’s just in my mind 🤔

Eughhh said I wasn’t going to be obsessed this month but totally overthinking every twinge 😅 was meant to be in my fertile window over this weekend but I had what felt like ovulation cramps for 2 days before (weds + Thurs) so fear I may have missed the boat as we only had UPS on Friday.

Does anyone else get ovulation cramps/pain? When does it come on in regards to actually ovulating? Really don’t want to get into opk tests if I can help it as I’m obsessive.
I tend to get ovulation pain the same day I get a positive ovulation test so not sure if that’s when I’m actually ovulating or maybe the day before. I had a positive ovulation test yesterday and a lot of ovary pain but no pain today and the test is negative again. I think temping would be the most accurate way to confirm but I’ve never got into it as worried it’s one more thing to obsess about 😂 and also I’m a bad sleeper so not sure how accurate it would be!

Felt like wasting money so did a test today and it was faint, then went out to get some more types also faint! Bought packs of 2 and some digis so will do the other ones tomorrow and wait until after AF is due to do the digital! Not sure if anyone else can see it? The clear blue I did this morning and has dried darker. I did a clearblue 6 days early, boots own early and frer

Hope you’re doing okay @grumpycat

Hi all, I am just about to start TTC, I’m 28 and haven’t been pregnant before. I stopped taking my pill yesterday.

I’ve been having a little read through and lots of your posts have been super helpful as I think I was quite naive to it all and figured I just stop taking my pill and hope it happens.

Am going to get some of the pre conception vitamins tomorrow so thanks to those who recommended them.

In terms of the ovulation tests and tracking things, should I start using them right away? Or would you all initially just hope for the best and if it doesn’t happen after a few months start tracking? Sorry for all the questions x
I had a bleed about a week after I stopped taking the pill and then 32ish length cycles after that.

I did a few cycles without the OPKs and found I didn’t really know what I was doing/if I was having sex at the exact right point. Using them meant I knew when high/peak fertility was but it does get very obsessive - I was constantly peeing on sticks!!

Yeah maybe I’ll make my deficit a bit smaller 🤔 I will have a think on it.

And yay that’s good! And really reassuring, thank you for posting. I def need to read more people who have just had a later peak so thank you 😊

I have just gone down the rabbit hole on post pill cycles on YouTube and now I’m basically telling myself I will be having a 100+ day cycle or something 😅 need to remind myself I am on CD16 and not to be such a drama queen! 👸🏼
Remember most people only ever post about the bad case, not the good! The first time I came off the pill I had a 34 days cycle and then the second time it was 31 I think. So, you’ve still got loads of time!

Looks like it’s not quite a positive yet, I think the test line has to be as dark or darker than the control line for it to be positive? I could be wrong though!🙈

I don’t use these strips anymore, I had an almost constant reading of high/peak regardless of where I was in my cycle, so I started using easy@home ones and I have much more realistic results throughout my cycle. I’ve attached a photo so you can see what my “positives” looked like! Keep testing xx 🤍
have to second on easy @ home, they’re great and work well with Premom app, nice and easy to use!

I took some ovulation tests over the last few days as I was WAY too chicken to take a pregnancy test, caved yesterday morning and today (the FRER) and 😱😱 it doesn’t feel real!!
Yesterday was the clear blue

I feel so blessed and also so guilty being able to write this. I am so lucky and I promise I really, really know that. You guys are the loveliest community and I can’t wait to see the rest of you fall pregnant 💕

I’m a week before my period and I have a horrible headache. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m over tired, but I’m convinced myself that I haven’t conceived this month.
the mind can be powerful! Remember, until implantation happens then there is no hCG being released so that’s why some tests so early are negative. It doesn’t mean you’re out at all! It’s hard not to read into symptoms, but trusts your body and follow what it needs 💕

Welcome, feel free to get your feelings out, we all understand ❤ every month does seek to get harder, just get your feelings out, have some chocolate or a cry if you need to and remember every period is another chance to try again x (if that helps, if it doesn't just ignore that lol)

Thank you!! There was one month when I came on about 5 days earlier than expected and although I was mega dissapointed, I was also at peace with knowing..it meant I wasn't sat there getting my hopes up so I will try and see every period as a new opportunity ❤

Me three! 🙋🏼‍♀️ Got my implant out on 11th March and have been using the Boots OPK’s, but only a really faint line so far. I’ve had a few cramps here and there but no AF yet. I felt nauseous last week so took a test out of curiosity.. big fat negative. My boobs are SO sore this week, so not sure whether AF is coming. I’m just desperate to start getting in to a routine with my cycles so that I know there’s ‘movement’ and I can start tracking properly 😒
Hi ladies! So AF arrived on Thursday and bloody hell (no pun intended) it’s making me remember why I got the implant in the first place 😰 headaches, cramps, nausea, mood swings, sensitive boobs, constantly hard nipples (🤭), eating everything in sight, suuuper heavy flow. But I’m happy that my body is returning back to normal, and I was so excited when I noticed AF had arrived.

My issue now is my anxiety and the pressure I feel. I was so excited when I got my implant out and told a few people that we were ttc, completely regret doing that now. My best friend has just found out she’s pregnant after always thinking she wouldn’t be able to, and as much as I am sooooo happy for her, I feel so jealous. I’m seeing her next week for the first time since she found out and I’m dreading it because I know it’s going to be all baby talk. I know that I’m fresh on my journey for ttc, but after waiting so long to get my implant out and discussing it with my fiancé, I can’t help but feel jealous.

Anyway, I feel like I can’t really get my feelings out anywhere else (and my rambling is probably AF talking) but I just had to get my thoughts out somewhere 🤯

I'll never take hormonal contraceptives again. I had so many problems and just put up with it. The implant was the worst for me. Thankfully I've been off it for a few years so hopefully it doesn't affect TTC.
So I didn't track anything this month but one app says AF due tomorrow and the other says Saturday. Got some first response today but I'll wait and see if I'm late.

💖💖 It’s so nice to have real people to compare to. I never took breaks or had AF on my pill and was on it for 12 years so I had the exact same fear, but my period has been pretty regular every 32-33 days so don’t worry 💕

I'm only cycle day 3. Feeling rubbish with a heavy period (sorry if that's TMI). Trying to decide whether to track ovulation this month or not. I did the first 3 months then tried without last time.
