Sigh. AF is on its way - two days early too! I’ve decided to crack on with my fitness. I was reading today that you can easily put on two stone during pregnancy and I’m already overweight.

Anyone else on a fitness journey and care to share tips? I’ve dusted off the rowing machine and done 30 minutes this evening. Little steps.

If anyone is at the point where they’re debating contacting the doctor, I definitely would. I know it will depend on area etc. but we’re on month 9 of TTC and they’ve said they’ll start doing some blood tests etc. as there’s often long waiting lists.

Well my period hasn't arrived yet, it's usually like clockwork. Can't bring myself to test yet as I can't bear a BFN.

Felt really nauseous last night and this morning I'm only 6 days post ovulation so too early for anything that way. Hope everyone else is doing ok? X
Fingers crossed for good news! I'm CD7 and just feel miserable, really don't feel like sex at all! I think I just resent being on a schedule with it

Same, wouldn't say I am doing OK really, few more pregnancy announcements this week. Obviously everyone has copped that we are struggling and am now getting individual messages as opposed to girls just announcing it on the group, actually more upsetting cos I can't just reply with a generic congrats like you would in a group chat so through my tears I have to type up some nice reply but also try not get into a conversation cos I want to just end the conversation. I know it's nice and they think they are being sensitive but I would rather no special treatment

On the other hand one friend who I heard was pregnant and I had text to say congrats decided to send me bump updates, she lives abroad, big time difference so I woke up to those one morning and yes she knows we have been trying to conceive for a long time now

People just don't think

I have a wedding, a hen, a communion and a christening this month, dreading all of the them as I will have to see so many friends and family members who I have barely seen over the last two years, some of whom have had multiple babies in the time we have been trying

Just not able
Bless you. I agree with @Pineapple55 although difficult to avoid some events don’t feel pressured to go to them all if it’s really going to affect you. Not TTC related but I went through a really bad time with my mental health some years ago and whilst sometimes it benefitted me to get out it was also really exhausting putting on a brave face and pretending everything was fine then I’d over compensate with alcohol and it was just a mess. Look after yourself 💕

Joining this thread as we just starting TTC for number 2! I have pcos but was very lucky with my first and conceived on the 2nd cycle. But who knows with this time round, that was nearly 4 years ago and we don't have as much energy as we did pre-kids 🤣 I've started taking inositol again cos I took it when TTC #1 and whether it helped directly or not I dunno but it didn't do any harm!

I've noticed the test I did last night now has a faint line. Obviously it's an evaporation line as it didn't appear within the time and was testing far too early anyway but it's the closest I've come to seeing that second line so trying not to let it get in my head 🙈 going to see if I can hold off testing until Sunday morning as I'll still only be 10DPO then.

After a long time TTC and a miscarriage in April. I got my POSITIVE at 11 DPO this morning. I've not told anyone yet and my husband is away with work! Really hope this baby sticks!
I can't believe it!!
Aww congratulations!! At least you can think of a lovely way to tell your husband whilst he’s away!

AF has arrived for me although lighter but I think compared to my chemical last month it’s going to feel lighter!

Contemplating ordering Procieve for me and my husband and Preseed and giving them both a go. I just really hope the prenatals don’t affect my cycles.

For those who have ttc for a while.. do you ever struggle to envision yourself actually having a baby? How do you keep that motivation/hope going? It’s been so long that the thought of me actually having a full term pregnancy with a baby to hold at the end of it seems unrealistic! I focus so hard on trying to get pregnant but then the hard work of maintaining that pregnancy kicks in mentally. Sorry if this makes no sense… just some rambling thoughts I’m having to myself this Friday morning!
No I get you completely I feel exactly like that. The months where I’ve given up hope and not tracked etc have actually felt better mentally. Although I still haven’t been able to crack not counting down for a period. Not much point to this post other than to say your not alone 💕

11DPO and BFN.. going to wait until AF is due on Monday before I test again but I’m not hopeful. I’m absolutely gutted, I thought this month was the one😞

It may have taken 15/16 months but my peak on the clearblue and my peak on the easy@home strips finally match 😅 the easy@home strips usually pick my peak up 2-3 days later than the clearblue or I just hover around the 0.6 mark

Starting bleeding pretty heavily yesterday and passed lots of heavy clots (sorry for tmi) but I never had this and seems it really was a chemical pregnancy for me. 😪

On CD2 now and taking it easy. Not too sure if I even have the energy to track another cycle
Do whatever feels right but a short break can let your mind heal before starting again. If you still DTD often enough around ovulation you never know what might happen x

Ladies I had removed myself from ttc for a while due to a few different things going on and for the last few months have been casually NTNP but here I am once again, a week into a 2ww and driving myself mad symptom spotting - even though in the previous pregnancies I've had, I had zero symptoms, none. A week of crazy dreams/restless sleep which is unusual for me, and some seriously sore and puffy gums which is also very random. It's gonna be a long week 😩
Bad sleep and sore gums were my symptoms (although I didn't twig as I felt like AF was coming too, lots of cramps and acne), woke up one day and my retainer had some blood in it so decided to do a test and got a BFP. Fingers crossed for you xx

Well thankfully I am feeling much better now after my chemical last month and I think I have just gone through my peak, in time for this horrid heatwave! 😬 We have managed to DTD more times this month than last however I am just not feeling hopeful and already feel like it won’t be my month this month. I guess it’s normal to feel this way after a chemical. 🙈

also random question but my peak lines last month were slightly darker than the control line this month they are around the same darkness as the control line does it really matter about line darkness? It’s definitely still a positive 🤷‍♀️
My lines never got as dark as the control and I’ve gotten pregnant twice. One chemical and then the one I’m currently pregnant with, which happened to be the month after my chemical so fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻

Just tested at 6DPO even though I know it’s 100% pointless - I just really wanted to??? Obviously a BFN 🥲 Sending myself cross eyed trying to see a second line but it’s completely blank 🤦🏼‍♀️

We have our first appt with the fertility clinic in 6 weeks, gotta have bloods/sperm sample done in 2 weeks in preparation for it. Question… would you keep ttc up until then or skip a month? I am 6dpo now and the date of the fertility appt is meant to be cd1 for my next next cycle so I’m unsure if we should try or not try!!! Thoughts?
Personally I'd keep trying but I haven't been through this process myself
