Hello, I am fairly new to these threads. I am 2 months into trying and have not fallen pregnant. I am a 26 year old and my Flo App says im ovulating but i get BFN. Last month i tested BFP (happy times) and then my period came (had a chemical pregnancy). I am really unsure what we are doing wrong. Is it positions, is it the vaccine? i took the moderna vaccine and my periods then on have been weird. I would love to bring a baby in the world but it really sucks when it doesn't happen on our first try. We also notice right afterwards, a lot of sperm comes out but we try to save it and put my legs up...sooorry for graphic i have no one else to run to about all this...

(also, how to relax and be stress free? help an anxious girl out lol) is the foods im eating? i eat so healthy, red meat and chicken, one coffee a day, work in a low stress environment...i simply have no words for myself. honestly feel like a failure. we have no idea....i have no idea,

I am a mess...thanks..
I felt the same after a couple of cycles. It’s really not common to get pregnant so quickly in two cycles. People are so quick to be like ‘omg I got pregnant the second I came off the pill’ but in reality it’s like 80% chance within a while year. Nobody is quick to shout about it taking time because it’s harder to talk about but that’s literally how it is. Just keep being healthy, track to get an idea of your cycle, and each month you don’t get pregnant you can put more money away for when baby is here to buy even more cute clothes!

Hope we hear a positive from you soon though ❤

I’m in the same boat too. We’re planning a big family holiday next year as it will be my parents first grandchild so everyone is coordinating. We’re limited to kids school holidays due to teachers in the family but I keep thinking what if I’m heavily pregnant or even worse, what if I’m still not pregnant.

I’m having a wine tonight 😂

What are the odds of 2 chemicals in a row? I’m 13dpo now and my lines are strong, with my chemical they were nothing more than a shadow, but I can’t shake that it’s going to happen again 😭

Hi ladies
I had my bloods done in January and I’ve got my first infertility appointment next month.
Having tracked my periods/ovulation, I have a short luteal phase, so I’ll mention that at my appointment.
Can anyone give me any information about what to expect at my appointment. What the next steps would be and how long I’d roughly wait for results?
Thanks girls x
Hey,
I had my first appointment in December and things moved pretty fast from there. Hubby was invited for his test (which was the longest thing to wait on as knew already I had PCOS) and took about 5-6 weeks for test and results. I had various scans and then they talk to you about your options based on what they find. I am now on cycle 2 of Clomid (but had some issues and had to wait on cycle starting ect) but I was able to start first cycle in April so around 4 months from appointment to starting. If you ever want to chat just drop me a message.
Take care and sending all of the best wishes to you 💕

If anyone is at the point where they’re debating contacting the doctor, I definitely would. I know it will depend on area etc. but we’re on month 9 of TTC and they’ve said they’ll start doing some blood tests etc. as there’s often long waiting lists.
We’re currently undergoing tests, after just over a year of trying. I’ve had a blood test and I’ve got an ultrasound booked next week and my OH has had a “sample” checked. His test had come back normal but mine aren’t finished

I’m back at the fertility clinic today for my HYCOSY results (which I had in January!!). I’m really nervous. I hadn’t minded waiting in the run up to my wedding but now that’s over I need to move forward so thinking of jumping ship to a private clinic.

CD13 and just had a positive OPK. Hopefully see a temperature rise to back that up.

It’s my first month doing acupuncture so I’m quite interested to see if this will affect my period if we don’t catch this month. My cycles are quite irregular (can be between 26-35 days) but it looks as though this one might be 28 days with the positive today. Could just be coincidence I suppose.

I have a thread name suggestion (ignore me if it’s crap) but I was thinking “TTC #7 Even miracles take a little time”

Highlights the hope we all have☺

Today is my first estimated OD after coming off the pill which I’ve been on with a couple of small breaks for 17 years! I’ve been testing everyday as a bit of a trial to see what’s happening and LH has been really really faint but today it was a touch darker! Hoping it’s a sign my body is starting to resume business after all these years as it’s been a huge worry of mine.

Period started late last night.

I feel rubbish and like my periods aren’t ‘normal’ because I get a lot of spotting 2-3 days before full flow starts, but my periods are really regular and not super long, so doubt I’d be taken seriously at the doctor.

the hardest thing about this is seeing my OH so sad. I wish I could give him a baby. ☹
Mine are like that, have seen a gynae as have a lot of random spotting and he didn't seem at all concerned. Basically ruled out any cause of spotting so said don't worry about it, can try the coil "after you've had your baby". Investigation showed I'd ovulated too. I think a couple of days spotting before is pretty normal, I just sometimes get more than that which is why I went to gynaecology.

CD1 for me. Feels like I’ve waited ages because I ovulated slightly early this month. Going into our 8th cycle. We are going to see what happens this month, if nothing then we will go private for initial fertility investigations.

Back to CD1 and home alone tonight so having a glass (or bottle) or prosecco.

Disappointed this month wasn't the month but trying to look at the positive, that my cycle this time around was only 27 days compared to my previous 35/36 day cycles in April and May.

The annoying thing is when I expect my peak this month, my OH will be working a week solid of nights whilst I am working days so won't be able to DTD.
Maybe August will be our month! 🤞🏻

Any welsh girlies know what happens at your 12 week scan/appointment? I know they said to allow at least an hour for the appointment which doesn’t include the scan as I have to go to another department for that so will obviously be longer. Intrigued
You’d be better asking in the pregnancy thread…

I love looking at the checker app where people upload their tests and some women actually take them apart to see a line 😂 TTC turn us into crazies.
I took a photo of it next to an unused test held up to the window then edited it so I could see the imaginary line better. Then had a word with myself, binned the test and deleted the photo 😂 I stopped testing for months, I shouldn't have started again 😂

First cycle tracking again, I'm Day 17 no peak and no high readings at all. All coming low and 0.3-0.4... Remind me why we do this again? lol
What time of day are you testing?

I saw someone on I think it was Reddit if it wasn’t on here say they didn’t get a high peak reading the month they got pregnant but they had EWCM and other symptoms so they knew they ovulated then got BFP.
