Annnnnnd CD1 again 🙃

Sooo I said I’d update after my 2 appts!
My drs appt was not helpful at all.. she said cos I’ve had 2 miscarriages it means I can get pregnant so she doesn’t think any tests need to be done and basically said to stop stressing.
I spoke to a fertility centre nurse who said that even tho we have been ttc for a year, because I had 2 pregnancies in that time.. it has reset the timer for how long we have been ttc for and we would have to have a full year of not being pregnant to be eligible for public referral. However we can privately refer now and have an AMH test done and if that comes back low, I may be eligible for public treatment depending on the scoring system! Unsure what to do .. do we continue trying or bite the bullet and pay for a private referral and get the AMH test done.. I’m leaning more to the latter!
I'm so sorry that you were dismissed like that by your drs, I had a mmc 3 years ago and told my dr when I went for my tests and she said the same thing! Also that my bloods tests were 'satisfactory' whatever the hell that means. Hubs is currently going through his tests so I have no idea if we will be public or private but we've been trying for 13 months now with nada so I have no idea what the hell is is going on lol

Fingers crossed you get some answers soon x

i did a pregnancy test last night and it’s positive and quite strong. I went through a misscarriage about 5 weeks ago that completely stopped about 4. I did about 4 test since then and they were all negative and then this one was positive last night 🤞🏼 It wouldn’t be from the misscarriage would it?
It could be given the time period (I think it can take about 6 weeks for the HCG to leave your body) but given that you had negatives previously it’s more likely this is from a new pregnancy. Fingers crossed for you test in a couple days hopefully it gets darker.

Anyone else have an uncooperative partner when it comes to DTD? Just had a row with him about it (got my peak yesterday,) we DTD yesterday but he knew we'd to do it today and he just refused I'm upstairs crying. 😔
I think if hes uncooperative because hes tired you may need to cut him some slack. If it’s another issue about becoming a parent for example, maybe you need to have a chat.
Hopefully yesterday was enough 🤞🏼 Big hugs xx

I’m feeling proper down tonight it’s our first wedding anniversary this weekend and I so wished we were expecting by now 😔 just seen a few pregnancy announcements and it was a proper kick in the teeth 🙃
I'm in exactly the same position! It's our 1st Wedding anniversary in 2 days and I really hoped I'd be pregnant by now. It's made even worse by the fact we had to postpone by a year due to covid so we delayed ttc for a year too, just feels like wasted time now

Yeah I find those few days where you could be pregnant but get negative tests harder then AF arriving and being on a new cycle. It's just being in limbo isn't it.
Yeah that’s true. I even snuck out and bought a test. Told my fam “oh I’m going for a walk, I need me time” and I bought 6 day’s sooner clear blue and negative! Jesus

What’s going on...wish we could lift up our skin and see 😂😂😂 weird i know but so annoying lol! Good luck, the TWW is hard

Hey peeps, thought I would jump on this thread as we’re currently TTC! Day 1 for me today I have just come on, I stopped taking my pill towards the end of March as we got married start of June. This will be my third ‘proper’ period off the pill and I was so naive to think it would happen so quick! Is it normal to feel so upset with myself?

Been using ovulation strips the last two cycles and think I just missed the egg on the days we were travelling back from holiday this time around 🙁 couldn’t test as regularly due to being away and flow said it was coming a couple of days after we got back but I got solid negatives from then onwards. My period has also come two days earlier than predicted so think my cycle is shortening down?

Any advice much appreciated and best of luck to everyone here xx
hey lovely!! Yes it’s very normal to feel upset, I think I felt more upset in the first few months of ttc than I do now a year later 😂just because you expect it to happen easily!
cycle length can vary month to month so I wouldn’t be too worried if they have gone down by 2 days unless your luteal phase lasts less than 11 days.
this thread has been a lifeline for all of us so rant away on here and I hope you get your BFP soon!

Felt slightly nauseous this morning and I think I can smell better then normal. Literally can smell the soap that I used ages ago and it wasn't like I went crazy with it. It's probably wishful thinking. AF due on Monday.

Hey,
I had my first appointment in December and things moved pretty fast from there. Hubby was invited for his test (which was the longest thing to wait on as knew already I had PCOS) and took about 5-6 weeks for test and results. I had various scans and then they talk to you about your options based on what they find. I am now on cycle 2 of Clomid (but had some issues and had to wait on cycle starting ect) but I was able to start first cycle in April so around 4 months from appointment to starting. If you ever want to chat just drop me a message.
Take care and sending all of the best wishes to you 💕
Hey sorry to jump on but we are in a similar position. In terms of timing end of March went to the doctors about missing periods, had bloods and an ultrasound. Had a telephone appointment at the hospital end of May said i wasn’t ovulating due to pcos. Just waiting on hubby tests and I’ve got to a further test to check my tubes then we start on clomid (if all tests come back okay) end of July and depending when I get a period. So I would guess it is around the 4 month time too (fingers crossed!) 🤞
Just wondering how you are getting on with clomid? Heard mixed reviews about the side effects
Fingers crossed for you both 🤞💕

Hi everyone, we have just started our TTC journey after I came off contraception at the beginning of the year. I have been tracking cycle and CM both on Flo and Ovia for comparison which are already showing completely different ovulation dates.
Am I best keeping track with apps, or should I purchase ovulation sticks or focus on CM changes?
I'm 37 and have never TTC before so unsure what to expect.

After worrying that I wasn't ovulating after my miscarriage I tested today 11DPO and got a BFP!
Feeling very anxious after losing the first pregnancy but trying to remind myself to relax & enjoy it
Congratulations! In same boat here, miscarriage at 5+3 in Dec and now 4+3... Fingers crossed for us all, I know exactly how you feel with the anxiety, feel like I keep going to the loo every ten minutes to check I'm not bleeding 🤦🏼‍♀️
