8dpo.. the first week flew by but now I feel like this week will be a drag. I’m gassy and a little crampy so not sure if it’s AF on the way 😩
Does anyone use the peanut app? I’ve found it quite helpful meeting others ttc, especially those who have had miscarried too

6DPO and tired with sore boobs. Don't feel like it's a sign though. Well, not a sign of pregnancy, just a sign to go to bed earlier 😂

I’m 5DPO. Trying not to think about it until the end of next week. If nothing happens this cycle we’re going to go private for fertility tests.

For those who have ttc for a while.. do you ever struggle to envision yourself actually having a baby? How do you keep that motivation/hope going? It’s been so long that the thought of me actually having a full term pregnancy with a baby to hold at the end of it seems unrealistic! I focus so hard on trying to get pregnant but then the hard work of maintaining that pregnancy kicks in mentally. Sorry if this makes no sense… just some rambling thoughts I’m having to myself this Friday morning!
Funnily enough I was just thinking this the other day. I see my friends with their kids, and the babies in my family, and I just can’t see myself in that position even though it’s what I’ve always wanted. Maybe it’s a coping mechanism? But yes, you’re definitely not alone ❤

New to this thread but coming for a bit of a rant? If that's okay. I have MRKH and I'm starting embryo freezing soon, have my investigations next week. My AMH is so low 0.4 for my age, 23 yrs old. So anyway I'm reading the book it starts with the egg to try help and I messaged a woman on Instagram who has gone through IVF and has a big following and same low AMH as myself. I asked her for advice on how she raised her AMH levels etc and she gave me such a rude response, I don't even know why I bothered. She seemed so nice in the comments of her posts, telling people to message her for tips etc and then I do and it just rubbed me the wrong way!! I've attached the pictures as I don't know if I'm just being Iver dramatic but I'm just a bit pissed off at the response she gave... she has over 16k followers too!!

Anyway if anyone can actually give me some good advice instead of just "read this book" I would appreciate it ❤

Edit -the woman I asked is now expecting which is why I asked her, as I thought well there must be a bit of hope there if I speak to someone who has had success. Just think she was so rude!
It’s a very blunt response, especially when talking to someone who is clearly worried and relatively young in age in the TTC world :( I don’t have any advice as I’m not clued up but sending you lots of luck 💖

Oh girls I got my period on Saturday 😭 Only just been able to bring myself to type it out. Next stage now is doctors! We have a majorly busy June so no testing this month, make an appointment and just going with it. I feel relieved and scared. Like we are going to start getting answers but I’m dreading what they are!

Anyone that’s started investigating why they haven’t been successful - what can we expect from our initial appointment? I’m so clueless.. it’s like whole new unknown territory!
My GP just sent me for blood tests initially. I think they are on roughly day 3 and day 21 of your cycle to check if you’re ovulating. My husband was referred for sperm analysis at the same time. Both our tests came back normal so we were then referred to the fertility clinic.

I got a solid smiley on my clear blue today which means peak ovulation but still negative on my ovulation sticks 🤷🏻‍♀️ just gonna go with it and fingers crossed 🤞🏼 it’s our first month TTC so I’ll be totally honest I have no idea what I’m doing or what these tests mean lol

I am not sure but I think, because she hasn't experienced the stress and anxiety of TTC, she thinks that people just don't relax enough, it's easy, just have a lot of sex etc. I hope it does happen quickly for her when the time comes.
Aw to be fair while it’s horrible for you to go through hearing it, it would certainly be hard for me, I think a lot of us here went into TTC thinking it wouldn’t take this long. She’s not taking out of malice, I mean I thought 3 months maybe.. and here I am 23 months later after 12 months not trying not avoiding, and 11 months fully tracking my ovulation. I kind of miss those innocent days of it will happen quickly, and wish I could be back there instead of stressing.

One million percent I feel what you are feeling.. but it’s one of those many situations where we want to break down but have to put on a smile and go along with it 🙁 We are always here if you need to vent ❤

AF came 3 days early 😭 13 DPO BFN and today I found out my best friend was 11 weeks pregnant ( I knew she was - but she didn’t want tell me earlier as I had a 4 week miscarriage in April) . That makes ALL of my friends pregnant now! So gutted I could cry!

Starting bleeding pretty heavily yesterday and passed lots of heavy clots (sorry for tmi) but I never had this and seems it really was a chemical pregnancy for me. 😪

On CD2 now and taking it easy. Not too sure if I even have the energy to track another cycle
I hope you’re ok ❤ I had a chemical in April we had been trying for 11 months and had not even the sniff of a positive test. I tracked ovulation and BD every other day and I got pregnant in May, currently 6+4 so please don’t lose hope, I know it’s hard and I was devastated when I started bleeding, but it will happen for you xx

12dpo - BBT still high. Boobs still big and sore. Heartburn like crazy. Had slight spotting this morning (it was light pink so who knows what it is) but I haven’t had my usual cramps like I do before AF. Stop me from going crazy!!!! Going to test tomorrow.

I’m under the NHS for fertility at the moment. I was referred about 18 months ago. I went for bloods initially to check I was ovulating and my husband had sperm analysis. It then took about 3 months to see the consultant again and she referred me for a HYCOSY which I had in January. The radiologist said everything looked fine but my appointment with the consultant isn’t until next month (they did offer me an appointment in April but I was on honeymoon) so it’s been a long wait.

We haven’t been in a massive rush as we got married in March so took a step back from TTC to enjoy that without the pressure. My husband has a child from a previous relationship so we won’t be offered IVF if it comes to that and we’d have to go private. I think we’ve saved quite a bit of money in having the investigations via the NHS.

According to the Flo app I ovulated yesterday so now in the TWW. This is my first cycle since coming off contraception so it could be completely wrong but I’m hopeful!🤞

Hello, I am fairly new to these threads. I am 2 months into trying and have not fallen pregnant. I am a 26 year old and my Flo App says im ovulating but i get BFN. Last month i tested BFP (happy times) and then my period came (had a chemical pregnancy). I am really unsure what we are doing wrong. Is it positions, is it the vaccine? i took the moderna vaccine and my periods then on have been weird. I would love to bring a baby in the world but it really sucks when it doesn't happen on our first try. We also notice right afterwards, a lot of sperm comes out but we try to save it and put my legs up...sooorry for graphic i have no one else to run to about all this...

(also, how to relax and be stress free? help an anxious girl out lol) is the foods im eating? i eat so healthy, red meat and chicken, one coffee a day, work in a low stress environment...i simply have no words for myself. honestly feel like a failure. we have no idea....i have no idea,

I am a mess...thanks..

Sooo I said I’d update after my 2 appts!
My drs appt was not helpful at all.. she said cos I’ve had 2 miscarriages it means I can get pregnant so she doesn’t think any tests need to be done and basically said to stop stressing.
I spoke to a fertility centre nurse who said that even tho we have been ttc for a year, because I had 2 pregnancies in that time.. it has reset the timer for how long we have been ttc for and we would have to have a full year of not being pregnant to be eligible for public referral. However we can privately refer now and have an AMH test done and if that comes back low, I may be eligible for public treatment depending on the scoring system! Unsure what to do .. do we continue trying or bite the bullet and pay for a private referral and get the AMH test done.. I’m leaning more to the latter!

BFN today but period is a day late. Had a couple of cramps but don't feel like I'm getting my period. I'm always like clockwork with AF even down to the hour so not sure what's going on.
