Looks positive to me @fishsticks 😍

woken up with horrendous nausea, someone please remind me that 7DPO is far too soon to be having symptoms and it’s likely because I had a kebab for my tea last night 🤣
I’m 7dpo too and took a pregnancy test to shut my head up and gal let me tell you, don’t do it 😂😂 it’s a waste of a test. Hope we both (and all!) get our BFP soon ❤

I'm 5DPO and yesterday I was feeling hopeful and excited. Today I got my cervical biopsy results which showed CIN2 and CIN3 (moderate and high grade cell changes which require treatment to prevent them becoming cervical cancer). At the colposcopy when I had the biopsy done a few weeks back, they said it looked low grade and gave the go ahead to TTC - they said not to wait for the results as even if it was high grade we could look at options if I was pregnant by then.

I have an appointment for treatment of the cells at the start of what will be my December fertile window. I don't believe you can have the treatment if you're pregnant. So I need to wait until next week to see if AF comes - if it does, I'll have to have the treatment in Dec and then pause TTC for the next couple of cycles (can't have sex for 4-6 weeks after treatment). If it doesn't, and I'm pregnant, I'll discuss options with the doctors. I'm regretting not starting TTC earlier now.

I'm desperate to know now and there's a long wait yet! I don't think I got a positive until after my period would have been when I was pregnant last time. I think a bfn would be even more disappointing now that I know I'd have quite a wait before we can even try again.

Af due tomorrow and managed to hold off testing so far 👍 going to test in the morning if I'm not on by then but not expecting bfp as not really had symptoms. Boobs been a bit sore but that's quite often a pms symptom for me.

Does anybody else feel like you might jinx pregnancy by testing even though it's literally out of your control whether it happens or not?😂

I can start trying again October/November. I keep thinking oh maybe I’ll be pregnant at Christmas! But I need to stop thinking like that and just go with the flow.

Don’t give up hope - it may still be too early!

Attached photos of my 2 tests, the first negative on September 10th. I was convinced I was out, went for a night out on September 11th then my BPO on September 13th 💕💕

Good luck all you lovely ladies and thankyou for your support this year 🌈
Thank you 🤍🤍🤍 I hope this same thing happens to me in a few days but I’m not confident at all! So glad you got your rainbow 🌈🤍🤍🤍🤍

I find it so frustrating when people who have never ttc add in their 2 pence. I saw a friend today who’s had 2 healthy pregnancies and has never even tried to get pregnant comment that people shouldn’t “ttc” and track as it causes the body stress and people should just enjoy it and let it happen. How can you really pass comment when you’ve never had to do it? It’s also stressful when you want to get pregnant and can’t, so it’s stressful either way!!
I agree. I once had someone tell me 13 months isn’t a long time to ttc. Said by a person who fell on the pill twice..

I am feeling really torn today. I stopped tracking this month because my ovulation tests were just getting dark then light every couple of days with no actual ovulation and it’s exhausting. I’m guessing as it’s my first cycle after my loss that’s to be expected.

Now I just feel guilty for not trying this month, like well I clearly can’t want it that badly if I can’t be bothered to keep tracking. I’m CD 28 now and I don’t think I’ve ovulated yet but I really have no idea.

Did any of you stop tracking and then feel bad about it? It’s like I know I should just let myself relax but I feel so guilty for doing so.

Sorry for the ramble, just such an emotional rollercoaster.
Don’t be too hard on yourself and put too much pressure on yourself. You’ve been through a lot, you have to do what’s right for you 💗 and if that’s not tracking then you do what’s right.
I didn’t track last month as it was becoming too stressful. It felt strange and I felt I was missing out the important days, but I went by ewcm and actually realised I was spot on with guessing ovulation just by that. If you get good amounts of ewcm that’s one way to track it, or just by regular BD.
Even if you have a complete month off, no tracking no regular BD, that’s okay too. We are people before we started ttc. It doesn’t mean you don’t want it, just means you are having a well needed break 💗

So after 2.5 years of ttc we are booked I for IUI next month. Not sure whether to be excited or prepare myself for the disappointment that it may not work.

Hard to be excited when our only diagnosis is unexplained secondary infertility so they haven't found any issue that is stopping us from comceving naturally which makes me feel like conceving with assistance won't be so easy either.

Anyway just need to do something to stop myself going crazy 🤪

If anyone wonders what the process is like feel free to ask away x
Good luck 🤞

My advice: have lots of sex this month. I’ve conceived twice in the weeks leading up to fertility treatment despite being unable to conceive for years!

Hi everyone, hope we are all doing well x

I've been symptom spotting for a few days and I'm driving myself crazy. Due on Thursday and I can feel cramping like AF is on her way but torturing myself by reading women who have successful pregnancies say that early pregnancy can feel like menstrual cramps. Determined not to test. What will be, will be.

I'm focusing on my health, prioritising nutrition and hoping for the best.

So frustrated. I’m 7dpo today and started spotting really lightly with cramps. My period isn’t due for 6 more days but I have a feeling the second vaccine I got at 5dpo is messing with this cycle.
Might be Implantation bleeding and cramps! I’ve got cramps today ( 8/9 dpo) and really hoping it’s implantation and not period :(

I try to be positive but I just can’t imagine ever seeing a positive pregnancy test ☹
Yep feeling the same 😔 today is peak fertility today and I’m dreading this TWW. Been back to tracking this cycle so I just know it will be the longest two weeks ever. Plus next cycle it’ll be a year of trying. I know it’s not that long in the grand scheme of things but I was just so naive when we started, I definitely didn’t think I’d still be here a year later 😕 grateful to be able to read these threads and know I’m not the only one who feels a bit hopeless!

Hi everyone!
We are planning to TTC from August.
My gynaecologist sais to start prenatals 3 months before.
Do you think it’s beneficial to start earlier ? Or to track ovulations with the ovulation tests a few months before to see what the average days are when I ovulate?
I’ve got a regular period, and have gone to gynaecologist and blood tests for regular check ups 1x year for past 10 years, so hoping that we can conceive within a year, provided there’s no hidden issues.
Welcome! ❤ Yes it’s definitely beneficial to start a prenatal before TTC if you can, 3 months is ideal. It’s not necessary but it can help to make sure you body is in optimum condition to conceive. I chose to track ovulation for a couple of months before TTC too, it helped to give me an idea of when my fertile window might be. Best of luck with your TTC journey!

Does it make any difference how long you lie down after sex? I normally try and just go to sleep but we had sex early evening so I’ve been up and about. I did lie down for the first 5-10 minutes with my hips on a cushion and leg in the air 🤞🏻

Hi all, I am looking to start TTC journey aged 37. Had the implant since I was 16 y/o. Don't have any children although my OH has one from a previous relationship.

I know it is quite late compared to others but I have finally decided that I want and am in a position to have a child. I hope I am lucky enough one day to carry my own.

I had planned on getting the implant out in the new year and starting fresh but after reading difficulties on this thread I am wondering if I should bite the bullet and make a Dr's appointment ASAP?

My OH and I spoke about trying for a child in the next year or so but given my age, I want to be more realistic about how easy if at all I can have a successful pregnancy and I am worried about keeping the implant in too long and missing the opportunity.

A friend just called me , she’s pregnant. She suffered a miscarriage a few months ago & im truly delighted for her but there’s always the feeling of being punched in the gut for myself. Hate feeling it.
Hope everyone is ok ❤
This I think is what I struggle with the most! I am happy for them because it’s obviously the biggest blessing but it really bloody hurts! Treat yourself to something nice and be kind to yourself 🤍

After my recent chemical I’m not tracking or anything for a while, I’m just going to let my body do it’s thing and hopefully I’ll have one of those “we just stopped trying!” stories one day! 🤞🏼

Sending love and hope to you all 🤍

Hey TTC’ers,
I am 12dpo today and need some help.

I got my first vvvvvfl at 9dpo, followed by more positives including a few digital positives on both 10dpo and 11dpo.
My lines didn’t really look like they were getting any darker so I started to worry about a chemical.

This morning at 12dpo with FMU my First Response looked a bit lighter and the Clearblue digital said “Not Pregnant”.
I’ve been devastated all day.

Tonight I’ve taken another Clearblue digital and it is back to saying “Pregnant 1-2”. And the line on the Clearblue line test is still faint but looks a bit darker than yesterdays.

I’m so confused, wtf is going on 😭
I had a doctors appointment which was cancelled and now I can’t get into see my regular doctor until Tuesday.
Try not to panic, I know it’s easier said than done. 12 dpo is very very early! You could have just been more hydrated when you took the not pregnant one. Your test is currently saying positive so that’s how you’ve got to view atm if you’ve had no bleeding.

Lines getting lighter can be a sign of a chemical but not always, afraid the only thing to do is wait and I suspect a doctor will say the same as nothing will show on a scan until past 6 weeks anyway.

I know it’s really hard and the anxiety and worry is unbearable but it’s totally out of your hands at the moment. I would take another test tomorrow, if it says pregnant, then leave it a few days before taking another as you’ll drive yourself crazy analysing the lines and HCG only doubles every 2 days.

keeping my fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻 ❤

sending lots of love, hopefully the fertility clinic will have some answers. All it takes is one egg and one sperm🧡 I know this is really unhelpful but I keep trying to tell myself this too!

I’m also so frustrated at the moment. I was SO sure I was pregnant this month. I’ve never felt this way before. You know how everyone says when you’re pregnant you just know? Well I was so sure that I knew. I thought how it would be perfect timing for us to announce at Christmas. I’d got the fancy tests ready to show my partner when he returned from work.

Aaand then my period arrived, three days early.

can I ask what all of your diets are like? I’m trying to figure out why it’s not happening for us and that’sthe only thing I can think of. I drink one or two cans of Coke (or Coke Zero) most days, and eat a LOT of sugar. I wouldn’t like to guess how much, but I’d assume at least triple the RDA.
Other than that I don’t think my diet or lifestyle is terrible. I exercise at least 5 days a week, I’m a healthy weight (closer to underweight than overweight) and don’t drink or smoke. I eat a good breakfast and evening meal with fruit and/or veg. Lunch can be hit and miss with work.
Honestly mine is prob the same, except the diet coke bit but I have sugery treats like chocolate every evening! Maybe not much some evenings but defo every day.

I feel like after 2.5 years I need to know Why I am not getting pregnant, our IUI failed which was devastating when my period came today I cried all afternoon, I genuinely felt pregnant the last few days, had bad naseau all day so convinced it had worked, like you I thought oh I can announce at Christmas, baby will be here in July, maybe christening in September, have everyone over after if the weather is nice, just feel so let down like it seems so unfair
Unexplained infertility is just so frustrating and clinics are just like it's unexplained and none of them seem to want to put any effort into trying to come up with some explanation

Thank you so much...

That's something I probably missed out but my husband doesn't really like to talk about it - it causes a lot of tension and when I confronted him recently about him not being open about talking about it he said its because he's worried how I'd be if l lost again - I sort of believe him, but I'm not sure. He also says that I need to lose weight/ get fitter... during the last 18 months I have gone up a size to a 14 and stopped going to the gym so only really walk the dogs now. He says this from a health not aesthetic perspective btw - a close friend of ours is a bigger lady and had terrible problems with her back after she had her babies.... Anyway I feel like he deflects a lot and I can be sure every time I try to bring it up he'll either walk away, change the subject or basically close it down within 3 mins and say unhelpful things like "talk about this? we've done nothing but talk about this for 6 years" which I think is unfair. I suppose deep down he doesn't want to go again really but won't say and actually I also know if I really pushed he would - I'm just not sure I want to go through it all again myself.

The time frame idea is really good. I could have a break from my course and go back to it - they've actually talked a lot about people having to take time out due to pregnancy etc so in that sense it could be worked out.

thanks so much - just putting it all down really helps xx
I've had similar issues with my husband. My first pregnancy was molar. I was quite poorly, and the whole thing just went on for ages and was quite stressful. My husband has quite bad health anxiety, and he constantly imagined the worst outcome from it all. After my second pregnancy was smooth sailing and healthy he thought that was our good luck done with, and we shouldn't try again because it couldn't possibly go right.

It's taken a lot of talking to make him see that yes, it could go tits up again, but equally it could be fine and we could end up with another healthy child. I think some men struggle to know what to do when they see us suffering, and the easiest thing is just for them to ignore the situation and hope it goes away.

My big worry is that if we are successful then something goes wrong, he'll put his foot down and refuse to try again.

I keep forgetting to take my vitamins 😬 it’s my tww now, is there any harm is starting folic acid and vit d now or should I wait for next month. I guess there should be no harm in it?

My partner keeps saying I don’t need the vitamins and should just get it from foods. I’m like 🙄

Tracking everything is a good way to get prepared definitely. I like pre mom and use the easy@home OPK. Just be aware it does get very tiresome peeing on sticks every single day and I’d be reluctant to start now. Maybe you could give it a go for a month and see if ovu and period dates line up? I’m rubbish at testing every day, I hate it. I had a peak Sunday and won’t track again until next month.
