I just need a moment... Currently CD47, haven't tested for a week so thought we'd just give it a go. I asked my husband to check it after 3 minutes cos I just couldn't face it again, and the look of disappointment on his face has just done me in. 🥺 Those negatives really hit hard after a while.

I got a high on my ovulation tests! Yay! CD 16 and in line with my apps so I’m pretty happy about that. I also felt some CM today so I’m glad they seem to be aligning so I know what I’m looking out for! I know it can change month to month but it’s given me some hope!

This probably isn’t interesting to most people, sorry 🤣

Hey girls,

Thanks for the other day, you were all lovely ❤

A friend of the family started TTC months AFTER me. I remember her telling people they were struggling and how terrible it was after trying for 6 months.... Well she had her baby this week. Then there's me... Still here.

Can't even imagine actually having a baby! Like a faraway dream now...

Lots of love to anyone who needs it today ❤
It’s so difficult dealing with friends pregnancies/babies. Such a conflict of emotions😞

I’ve got a friend who started trying the same time as us and they were a good support network for me and my partner. She also has PCOS and it was just nice to be able to have someone close to relate to! Anyway, last month they told us they were pregnant. I am honestly over the moon for her but it is so hard. She messaged me something the other day which didn’t really make sense and she followed it up with “sorry, baby brain!”. It honestly made me so irrationally angry that I had to turn my phone off for the evening 🤦🏼‍♀️ Like, I’d love to be having baby brain right now!

I’m so sorry the analysis has left you with more questions than answers. It makes sense that they asked him to wait a few days before the sample but then it sounds like they contradicted themselves saying it could have been 2 days or 2 weeks?!
My understanding is that the longer a man goes without ejaculating then the more damaged sperm become but I only read that on the internet so it might not be true!

it sounds like a horrible hard battle with the clinic and the GP - if they denied having the results for x days could that have harmed the sample? I’m not trying to provide false hope but it sounds as if they’ve been bloody terrible and nothing like I’ve heard of anyone’s encounter of sperm sample. I thought they had to be analysed almost ASAP after the sample was provided!

please call them up and express how upset and frustrated they are and that you need confirmation on what happened and the results. This is incredibly unfair on you and fertility is so important the results need to be clear and concise. Sending so much love x
It just made me feel like why am I bothering? Why is even getting some help so hard? I had nurse with my original bloods who was bloody awful as well. Being silly I know.
It said 3-5 days so he didn't for 3 days before he did his sample. So it should be exactly as they want it, however has low morphology so I think it must be true. But then the form wasn't filled in right and they are just like well we don't know how long he went 2 days or 2 weeks?? Weird. After the battle to even get the results as well. Just denied it all. Had to fight to get them. If it was a set answer then fine. But now it's been 2 weeks and still haven't even got another letter for the re test again. I know I'll be upset and fuming about this in a few days when AF comes, maybe I should ring up and complain then😁 actually better not 😂
Thankyou for your lovely message ❤
I feel you pain so so much. Now COVID restrictions have started to lift I've been invited to a ridiculous amount of baby showers. I initially felt hurt and jealous when invited, but now the fear is of actually going and facing the questions from family and friends. I can't bare that.

Hopefully this time they will be quick to get you the results. I had a HSG over two weeks ago now and won't be told the results until the beginning of June when my next appointment is. I feel a bit terrified, because if everything was ok surely they would've said by now? :(

Sending you lots of love during this really difficult time xx
Baby showers and meet ups are SO hard. I mean I know I'm hard work because I feel terrible if I'm left out, like I'm being punished for not having a baby that I desperately want, yet I also dread going as I don't want to be around babies and pregnancy as it upsets me so much. Such a crazy mix of emotions this journey. And yes the questions make me want to shrivel up. Dependant on where I am in the cycle I can give some words back or otherwise just want to cry!
I do find hearing people getting pregnant by accident, especially after a few weeks like my friend, so hard to take. I've been trying for way longer than they've been together it is SO unfair. But I do the right thing and act happy. Feel like such a bitch. It just hurts doesn't it?
I hope your results are good, I'm sure they will be but fingers crossed. I think results are taking a while, and especially with all the backlog from the last year. I feel so behind on all these tests. X

Also I had my covid jab today. Its all okay when ttc now. Didn't think about my cycle when I booked I'm 11dpo. I have seen online it can delay your period. Oh god I am hoping not. If my period is late it'll mess with my head now! Has anyone had this with the vaccine?
Had no symptoms at all. But now very slight tenderness to boobs and I've got some cramps which is unusual for me now. I guess this is cycle 18 probably getting ready x

Well after my post yesterday, I just tested and got a peak on both my cheapy OPK and CB digital 🥳 CD19.

We have been doing sperm meets egg plan to time DTD (every day was too much and we got tired and sick of each other last month 😂) so fingers crossed 🤞🏻

Hello TTC'ERS

I'm new - trying for my 3rd baby. Husband said he would have a 3rd and I jumped at it - always felt like I wasn't "done" after our 2nd.

I have a history of miscarriage, I've had too many to mention so I'm a little scared going into this but also excited!

I woke up this morning and took my temp as I do every day, then after I recorded it my app put me back to 12dpo rather than 14dpo. I know that makes sense as that’s what the other apps were saying but it means rather than being past the date of AF (13dpo) I now have to wait until tomorrow night before I feel even slightly safe 😩😩 it’s just filled me with worry and now even in the past hour I’ve been awake I’m just worried about every twinge being AF cramps.

It also means I tested positive at 9dpo which I suppose calms the other worries I have been having which is that my tests look too light for the dpo I am.

I tested again this morning and the lines are definitely getting darker every day which I’m taking as a good thing, plus the fact I’ve still had no spotting, but I just want to get to Friday already please (14dpo) 🤞🏻🙏🏻

Sorry for the ramble, I know I should be happy but I’m just so worried about it all going wrong now 😭

AF is here. CD1.. Let's do this.. Again. 😔 I was hopeful after reading positive stories about people getting pregnant the cycle after their chemical pregnancy. Maybe my body just wasn't ready. In my head I'm still grieving.

Naively went into ttc by thinking 'id love a march baby' and my husband always said he didn't want a child too late in the school year so July/August. Now we just don't care as long as we can conceive a happy and healthy baby. (although being heavily pregnant in summer doesn't sound too great. My friend is 8 months and she's struggling so bad with the heat!)

Hoping my cycle will be back to its normal 29 days this cycle. It's been a long 37 days this cycle after ovulating later than usual.

Plan of attack after AF. Test for ovulation. Don't Google anything until at least 12dpo. Don't test until 12dpo. Don't get my hopes. Have sex lots. Try and lose some more weight. No pressure. 🤣

Well that’s my referral for the sub fertility clinic in. I’m grateful for my GP taking me seriously and not fobbing me off this time, having said that she wasn’t able to give me any sort of timeframe for hearing from them so who knows how long I’ll be waiting 😩
Probably wishful thinking but maybe I’ll have fell before hearing back from them 🤞🏼

Well after having no AF since January 5th I think I’m finally coming on… I genuinely feel like celebrating 🤣
Now to impulse buy 100s of opk strips and dig the tampons out the bathroom cupboard 🤞🏼😂

We are on cycle 2 after my miscarriage. CD10 now and I’ve started doing my OPKs today. I’m using the pre mom ones for the first time instead of the clear blue digital. Got a low (0.17) which was expected. Last cycle my peak was CD15 so we’ll see what happens over the next few days I guess. Hope everyone is okay 🤍

I’ve seen some comments about early tests and thought I’d share my experience. Been TTC for 8 months. This will be quite TMI so sorry in advance but at 11 dpo, I had a powerful shoot of discharge (I’m so sorry) but it made me think what the hell… I also had congestion, not a runny nose, not a blocked nose, but a stuffy nose. So I took a test (FRER) at 11 dpo. Negative. I took another one (FRER) at 12 dpo and I got a faint line, which darkened each and every day since. I’m still very early days but going to call my GP tomorrow. I suppose I just wanted to share as even if you have a negative test earlier, it doesn’t necessarily mean you’re out. Wishing everyone here lots of baby dust x

I have only just started TTC but have been married for just over 1.5 years and was shocked by how many people think it’s acceptable to ask when we were having children. I pointed out to some people how inappropriate of a question that is, I’ve directly said what if we were trying to conceive and hadn’t been able to yet?

It’s so so thoughtless, I’m sorry if you ladies have to deal with that question. Tell them it’s none of their business, and that when you are having a baby, you will be sure to let them know but until then it’s not up for discussion!
Oh yes. We were married 4 years when we had our son & were “watched” for all of those 4 years, had all the questions & comments. We actually weren’t trying at all for 2 of those years so I passed no heed but my gosh when you’re trying & getting the comments it just stings so bad. Fair play in pulling them up on it, they should be made to feel awkward back for asking something so hurtful, regardless how well intentioned.

I’ve a friend who’s got pregnant the two times she tried & I want to scream which is so unfair & isnt her fault but I’m finding it very hard to cope with her baby chat at the moment. Also going through a hard time with work & just general life that I don’t even have the energy to DTD which is critical to the baby making process obvs 🙈

My blood results are all back except for the AMH. LH & FSH are normal. Oestradiol is slightly low. I’ve to call back for the AMH & hope to speak to a doctor as I just got the receptionist. Feeling a bit nervous I won’t lie. Hope the AMH is ok.

Hello everyone, I’m wondering if you guys can help me?! I took a pregnancy test last night and got what I thought was a very faint line (blue one) so I thought I would do another using a pink dye test today after reading on here. Can you let me know if these are faint lines or not?! I’m new to all of this so not been in this situation before!

Another newbie here 👋 I'm 29 and me and my partner have only just started trying this past month or so. I have PCOS and Hyperprolactinemia = the most erratic cycles and I'm not even fully sure I ovulate, so I'm aware it could all be a challenge. However I am remaining cautiously optimistic as I know it is the earliest of days and one shouldn't assume! Has anyone else here got that happy little combo of hormonal fuck yous? lol. A few of my friends have PCOS and have managed to conceive naturally (albeit after a fair while) but I haven't met anyone else with hyperprolactinemia/both. My best friend with PCOS actually just found out she is pregnant with MoMo twins 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯

I'm trying to lose some weight to see if that helps the PCOS but really trying to avoid medication for the prolactin levels unless they get worse/conceiving proves impossible.

Anyway, it's so lovely to meet you all, you seem such a friendly bunch (I second the above poster - some other TTC forums are downright scary! lol).

P.S. I'm another one who can confirm when me and my partner first did the deed without protection we both went "Oh shit what did we just do?" 😂

Did you test? 🤞🏻✨

Love to all the TTC fellas out there, who often get overlooked, on this Father’s Day 🤍✨🤍✨

I did... Big fat negative. It feels like everyone is announcing pregnancies around me right now. 🥺 My cycle last month ended up being 48 days and I'm now on CD34. Really starting to wonder if it's ever going to happen for us. I feel like I'm letting everyone down, there's so much speculation in our families.

Sending love to anyone who needs it tonight. ❤

Nearly 5 weeks post mc now and still no sign of period returning. Feel like I can’t properly get back into trying until it does and I’m worried it’s going to take ages. Any words of wisdom?! Should have been finding out the gender around now which sucks 😔 I will always wonder what would have been 💙💖

ARE YOU KIDDING ME??

ARE YOU FRICKING KIDDING ME????

I went on the internet and found out that Action do the best (and cheapest pink tests - great!)

So I cycled all the way into the city, only to find that Action was closed 😩😩😩 Decided Etos might be the place to go, but they didn't have any tests 🤷‍♀️ turns out they were behind the counter, even at over 40, I was a little embarrassed to ask. Then I wittered on about wanting a pink test, not a blue, so I think I completely confused the assistant whose English wasn't brilliant. €7, my UK card was rejected and so was my Dutch card, so I had to call my hubby to transfer some money. At this point I got chatting to a lady from the stables, just as we parted, she said "oh yeah, you couldn't pay, that's embarrassing" seriously wondering if she actually saw what I wanted to buy??

So I finally went home with my test and simply couldn't wait for tomorrow, so did it there and then. OMG, how stupid of me, because now I have a test with a faint blue line....... And a test with a faint pink line

🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣Seriously.

This drove me a little insane, so I decided to come clean to my hubby who was on his 10 minute lunch break.

"that's not a line"
"do you not think it's a faint line?"
"yeah, it's a faint line"
"I'd brick it if you were pregnant"
"oh really? Well maybe you should have thought about before you shagged me - for THREE WHOLE YEARS!!!"

So I'm still very much in the same boat that I was a few days ago. I can't even!!!

Am I going mad? The pink one does look a little darker in real life, but you still have to squint.

I honestly think that I'm just going crazy 😢
I can see it. Try again in a day or two with first morning wee ❤❤ xx
