Dear Tattlers,

This isn't my usual thread, but I have nowhere else to go. I've just had a really REALLY faint blue line. I do feel "different" and tired, but every month I "scan" my body for "different" but I'm never pregnant. We tried for 4 years for our first, it's now been at least 3 and I've had polys hoovered out of me twice in the last 2 years, I'm now 42. I honestly feel like this is PMT/another polyp. I've done 2 tests, day 29 and 30. I'm won't count myself officially late until gone day 38 - the day I tested last time and it was a BFP. Obviously all I have to do is wait a few more days and 🙏, but has anyone else had a faint line and turned out to be pregnant?
I did in my first pregnancy….my advice would be to go and buy a pink dye (first response early pregnancy) test, much easier to read! I had the faintest of faint blue lines thay nobody but me could see, so followed a friends (also TTC) advice and bought a pink dye one, but had to go to a work meeting….I was sat in that meeting wishing to god I was pregnant as it was aboht some new changes coming in that I did not want to be a part of. I was so glad yog
Get back home and test. The line was much clearer to see. I was only about 3.5 wks pregnant but it still came up with afternoon pee!

🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 Fingers crossed for you and sending you love!!

Hi all,

Sorry to hear that some of you struggled on fathers day ♥

I'm struggling with the fact I've never seen any hint of a bfp. Like nothing.
A good friend has one child, and trying for another and talks to me like we are the same. I feel so bad for her as she's trying too but at the same time I right now feel so badly that I just want one baby 😢 I feel so awful for feeling this way, I know it's awful but she's a mum and I just want to be someone's mum. I'm sorry to anyone reading who is trying and struggling who already has kids. I just can't help but be envious when someone already does have children and I can't even get two lines in any way. I know I'm being selfish.
The thought of my period not coming and seeing two lines doesn't even feel possible.
just want you to know that you aren’t alone in those thoughts, I have them too. Sending you lots of love x

So if I believe myself I should be 10dpo, if I believe a smiley then I'm 2dpo.😬 Love a tww that isn't a tww bcus I've actually been waiting for over a week already. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Really struggling to stay positive. I'm overthinking every little thing. Caffeine and alcohol being the two main ones. I've completely cut out caffeine and alcohol since my chemical and I'm supposed to be on a work night out on 16th... I know if I say I'm not drinking they'll think I'm preg when in reality I'll have no idea if I am or not and don't want to risk anything!

Sorry, just needed a rant!!

I had an old friend get back in touch yesterday and after a couple of messages he said "no kids yet then?". Normally I'd probably try to turn my response into a joke but I just said "Sadly not, not for a lack of trying though." Why do people still think it's ok to ask things like this?

CD40 today, no sign of AF, tests still negative, just like last month. 🙄 Think I may try OPKs next month. Does anyone else have longer (45-48 day) cycles?! Feels so strange to me having always been around 28 days in the past.
That’s what I’m going to start saying. I think it will shut them up.

I think tracking ovulation will be good for you next month. If your cycles are 45 days you just be ovulating pretty late? Like day 30? I think that’s how it works, but I’m no expert so maybe someone else can help?

Thinking of you, sorry things aren’t going so well right now ❤ Have you done both cycles with letrozole, is clomid an option to try for you?

I have found there are a lot of accounts on Instagram who talk through their TTC journeys with inducing ovulation, trigger shots, ivf, etc - if you search the TTC or ivf hashtags, you might be able to find some stories of people who have already been down that route and see what steps they took first. Hope you get some relief soon xx
I'm not sure whether Clomid is something I can take, it has never been mentioned and I think they prefer to use Letrozole as it has less side effects. Yes both cycles with Letrozole, second cycle on a higher dose too.

I already follow a lot of accounts on Insta but it's 99% people who are already doing IVF or IUI's. It's just a minefield and some of is just so... depressing. Even the success stories are just people who have done IVF several times and countless IUI's that have failed, it's just so much all the time!

Just seen your last post. I'm sending you lots of love ❤

This!! I had this conversation with my friend the other day! I’m sure they’ve got sorer the older I’ve got 😂 I never used to notice and now I have to hold them as I go up the stairs 🙈
Omg me too!! 🤣 I’m in my early 30s and in my 20s I genuinely didn’t get any pain?! They are a bit bigger now though, that might be why haha!

Thank you everyone for your kind messages about our MC. You're all so bloody lovely. 💗💗

Can I ask what supplements/things people take whilst TTC and get a pregnancy to stick? 🤞 I'm only taking vitamin D and Folate (Folic Acid) but not sure if there is anything else that helps x

Hi ladies. Hope everyone’s okay as can be. ❤

I just wanted to ask that anyone who has been to see a doctor/specialist ect about fertility. How many cycles did you wait before doing so? I know the NHS says a year of trying. Also how long did you have to wait before getting tests ect. Xxx
I waited around 3 years!!! Mainly because I didn't want to face up to a problem, hubby got a date with a cup and I had an ultrasound and hysterosaplingogram (hystericalpingpong!) the results were clear so we were sent for IVF. Took a fair few months for the tests and appointments

Hi girls. I’ve been a long time lurker but have a few questions so hope you don’t mind me popping on :).
I’ve never been pregnant. Ever.
I’ve tried for a couple of months but last year but nothing happened and I don’t think I was tracking it properly tbh.
But this month I’m going to really try as I’m 32 now and I don’t have time on my side.
I’ve come on today and checked 3 sites then for my suspected ovulation date and they’re all different 🤦🏻‍♀️.
Can anyone recommend any digital ovulation texts?
Has anyone used the Ava bracelet?
And can anyone recommend and vitamins?
Thank you girls ❤

So we didn’t end up DTD lastnight as my son is poorly! Think I’ll be out this month, I really didn’t expect to ovulate this early especially with my cycles being 35-37 days and it’s only CD13. We DTD twice over weekend so that will have too do.
Hate how it’s all got to feel so planned etc, if I have been ovulating around CD14-15 each month then we have been timing it wrong for 5 cycles 😅xxx

Do you guys have cycles where you just feel like it’s not gonna be the one?

My husband and I both seem to have gotten really pessimistic this cycle, and we are only on cycle 2! I just feel like I know it’s not going to happen this month but I’m not sure why.
Yes, for the past 5 cycles I feel like this. I think it’s because I naturally think the worse and struggle to be positive when I want something so much. I fell pregnant in January after only 1 month off pill and couldn’t believe it, but that sadly ended in MC so now I just feel like it’s never going to happen for some reason.xxx

So I’m officially out, 34 day cycle with my LH surge 8 days ago. I knew this month was no good as we DTD at all the “wrong” times for ovulation so glad my periods here & off we go on another month. 🤞🏻🤞🏻
Do you normally have less than 10 days between LH surge/ovulation and your period?

I have been watching some videos from a lady on YouTube who had problems getting pregnant with her second because her luteal phase (the bit between ovulation and your period) was too short, less than 10 days and she saw a doctor and was put on progesterone to help lengthen it to support a pregnancy, she got pregnant her second month after that. (Her yt is that Caitlin stark if you’re interested.)

If it’s just a one off ignore me but if not might be worth looking into and chatting to a dr as they can probably help you straight away without you trying for x amount of time xx

Middle is darkest but it wokkd be hard to pinpoint without it being every day as your surge can be rapid (over one day) or be over a few days. Out of those tests, Thursday looks darkest to me
Thanks for your reply! I did think this! I was going to take more but have ran out! I have had mucas changes over the weekend so this could have possibly been my fertile window. I suppose now I’m in my 2ww. I have no pregnancy tests in this month to test early as I’m waiting to see if AF comes on time. Testing early just makes me very stressed xx

I am definitely pregnant 🥺🥺

I am so so happy and I feel so lucky, I was really feeling so low this month. Im obviously still scared and wary it could be a chemical as im only between 10-12 dpo but my temp went up this morning so I’m keeping everything crossed this works out 🤞🏻
Congratulations lovely, sending you all the love and well wishes ❤
