Had a BFP on a digital last Monday, but have had a negative on a digital today, I’m 5 +3 by my dates. Got an appointment in the EPU tomorrow but I’m very anxious! I’ve still got all the symptoms

Feeling crap today.

Done my 3 week post miscarriage pregnancy test as they requested and it’s still positive. A faint one but definitely there, looks like the first few tests I did when I found out. The bleeding had finally stopped so I really thought there wouldn’t be a line. I’m in isolation so can’t do anything anyway but if it’s still positive next week I’ll have to ring the EPU and I really don’t want to have to go back

I just feel shit. Like it’s never ending and I can’t move forward until it’s over. Don’t even know if this makes any sense. I just need a moan.

Do you guys have cycles where you just feel like it’s not gonna be the one?

My husband and I both seem to have gotten really pessimistic this cycle, and we are only on cycle 2! I just feel like I know it’s not going to happen this month but I’m not sure why.

AF is here. CD1.. Let's do this.. Again. I was hopeful after reading positive stories about people getting pregnant the cycle after their chemical pregnancy. Maybe my body just wasn't ready. In my head I'm still grieving.

Naively went into ttc by thinking 'id love a march baby' and my husband always said he didn't want a child too late in the school year so July/August. Now we just don't care as long as we can conceive a happy and healthy baby. (although being heavily pregnant in summer doesn't sound too great. My friend is 8 months and she's struggling so bad with the heat!)

Hoping my cycle will be back to its normal 29 days this cycle. It's been a long 37 days this cycle after ovulating later than usual.

Plan of attack after AF. Test for ovulation. Don't Google anything until at least 12dpo. Don't test until 12dpo. Don't get my hopes. Have sex lots. Try and lose some more weight. No pressure.

Thanks so much for replying. It’s put me at ease knowing that. I have tried temping in the past but found it difficult as my little boy is up and down through night for toilet etc! But I decided to do it this morning as had no interruptions of sleep apart from 1 toilet run at around 2am.
I will see if I can do this and keep it going and get a bigger picture.

how many dpo would you say I am if I had my smiley on Monday ? I wasn’t sure If you counted the day after the smiley as 1dpo which would make today 3dpo?

It’s so hard to know as ovulation can be anywhere from 12 hours to 48 hours after! Even with temping my apps all say different days right now I think the most common thing is for it to be the day after you get your smiley.

So the day after smiley would then be ovulation day and the day after that would be 1dpo. But because you can ovulate even on the day of the smiley or 2 days after it’s so hard to know

I went on the internet and found out that Action do the best (and cheapest pink tests - great!)

So I cycled all the way into the city, only to find that Action was closed Decided Etos might be the place to go, but they didn't have any tests turns out they were behind the counter, even at over 40, I was a little embarrassed to ask. Then I wittered on about wanting a pink test, not a blue, so I think I completely confused the assistant whose English wasn't brilliant. €7, my UK card was rejected and so was my Dutch card, so I had to call my hubby to transfer some money. At this point I got chatting to a lady from the stables, just as we parted, she said "oh yeah, you couldn't pay, that's embarrassing" seriously wondering if she actually saw what I wanted to buy??

So I finally went home with my test and simply couldn't wait for tomorrow, so did it there and then. OMG, how stupid of me, because now I have a test with a faint blue line....... And a test with a faint pink line

Seriously.

This drove me a little insane, so I decided to come clean to my hubby who was on his 10 minute lunch break.

"that's not a line"
"do you not think it's a faint line?"
"yeah, it's a faint line"
"I'd brick it if you were pregnant"
"oh really? Well maybe you should have thought about before you shagged me - for THREE WHOLE YEARS!!!"

So I'm still very much in the same boat that I was a few days ago. I can't even!!!

Flo says this is my fertile week, but I’ve been getting Lows so far!! Will be interesting to see what happens.

I used Flo, but tbh we just DTD every other day and then every day when I was around the time I thought I was ovulating and that coincided with Flo.

I think Flo is only really useful if you're *regular* which isn't likely for most people!

So sorry to hear about your loss, it’s the most awful thing to go through isn’t it congratulations on your positive I really hope it works out for you and you get your rainbow try not to stress too much (easier said than done I know) about the spotting, I’ve heard loads of women who have spotting and everything turns out okay x

No offence taken!! But also, don't be afraid to ask for help after 6 months of trying (or whatever the NHS website says) I was probably around 36 before I asked for help - and got pregnant the month before we were due to start IVF! Incidentally, there's nothing wrong with either of us, I always joke that we're just "doing sex wrong"

You should ovulate around day 14, that's what I was going to track this month but I got a positive result on day 8. If I'd waited any longer, I may have missed it and then thought I hadn't ovulated. (and start to panic about the menopause or something )

If you scroll back on this thread, someone posted a link to a blog where the lady did crazy graphs and was desperately trying to ovulate before day 20 + so we're all different.

Maybe get a load of cheap tests from Amazon or something and test every day until you feel you know your body better?
Some people also take their temperature every day, looking for a little rise around ovulation, but I just cba to do this

Can I ask if anyone here over a year TTC has never had a hint of a positive? I haven't had anything and this worries me. I know of lots of women that have sadly had miscarriages which is terrible, but not of many that have literally had nothing? X

Yep, right here. Over two years TTC, not one positive at all.

Waiting for IVF to start in the next month or two - it’s weird that SO many people say “I got my positive one day before we started IVF” that I’ve semi convinced myself it’s going to happen naturally.

It’s the hoping that’s the hardest

Had a bit of a break from obsessing over ttc as I still have had no AF since the very end of last year. Got to the point where every twinge/cramp I was hoping it was AF coming rather than the chance of a BFP. I just want my body to function normally
I started taking Inositol this week like @fluffybaffling recommended.. so I hope something kicks in Xx

I’m not TTC, and you girls may have looked into this, but I swear by the SMEP.

Sorry if I am asking a really obvious question here, googled SMEP and is it basically just DTD on the few days before ovulation day and then on ovulation day?

Hi, long time lurker here… I’ve been TTC since January 2020, I’ve had two miscarriages in the last year one quite recently and mid trimester, it was awful I was just wondering if any of you ladies have experienced a positive ovulation test to detect early pregnancy? Sorry I know this is such a sensitive subject as I’ve been reading that some of you have been trying for years I had a positive ovulation test around 11 days ago with all the obvious ovulation symptoms and we dtd the same night, I then carried on testing until the ovulation test showed a very faint line/negative… but tonight I’ve just randomly decided to do another ovulation test and it’s come back positive (TW: pic below), I’m due on around the weekend, but too scared to buy a pregnancy test as I don’t want to get my hopes up for them to be dashed again Any advice would be welcome Sending lots of positive baby dust to you all

Looks like this is my peak? We won’t have chance to have sex until tomorrow now so I’m gutted this will mean I’m out this month!

You still are in with a chance if you dtd tomorrow as you get a positive 24-36 hours before you ovulate! And then you are still fertile 24 hours after you ovulate, so tomorrow should be the perfect time! Good luck!!
