Hi. I had been trying for 2 years ten months up until last cycle when I conceived. I had no health issues, both don’t smoke/drink much, both eat well and exercise. In May I had a hyfosy procedure to check my tubes and they were completely clear, I had a scan of my ovaries and had plenty of maturing follicles. This cycle I’ve finally conceived and I strongly believe its cause of the hyfosy. Something must have been blocking my cervix and they dislodged it. Good luck xLiterally nothing, been trying over 2 years now
So sorry to hear this. My best friend lost a tube when she was younger due to ectopic and she’s currently pregnant with her third baby after tube removal. It’s still possible. Massive good luck xxHi guys.
My HSG confirmed my left tube is completely blocked. Assuming it’s from my surgery I had to remove a cyst last year. So I’m now starting Letrozole for 3 cycles, if no luck then on to ICSI or IVF. Burst into tears in the room, even though I expected this news it was still a shock to hear it. I feel like such a failure! Feel like I’m letting my husband down a lot.
hope everyone is ok x
How long are you meant to get flashing smileys for?xxxHope everyone is doing okay
I’m on CD17 and now day 8 of my flashing smiley on CB digigetting impatient again tbh but trying to remind myself it may be a while yet.
My heart goes out to youThank you everyone for your kind messages about our MC. You're all so bloody lovely.
Can I ask what supplements/things people take whilst TTC and get a pregnancy to stick?I'm only taking vitamin D and Folate (Folic Acid) but not sure if there is anything else that helps x
Oh wow. My first came slightly early but with my 2nd I think its now messed it eight up so I'm a bit worried.Yes I’ve posted in the thread about it. At first I was late for a week and now my cycle is slightly longer and I’m bleeding for less daysI had my second jab in March so ages ago now
Sending you lots of loveFound out last week (on our wedding anniversary) that the second cycle of Letrozole has failed. Now time to induce a AF and then start injections instead which I am not looking forward too! I have failed to ovulate with meds twice now so really not feeling optimistic
I can't keep thinking if this doesn't work what are the options? Is it straight to IVF, which is no one wants to actually do.
It's just a lot, constantly! No relief whatsoever.
I would have said a quick positive was a good sign? Maybe try a digital test with tomorrow mornings first urine?Hi all. Always been a bit or a lurker on this thread but took a step back when ttc just got too hardI’ve been kind of giving up recently and not thinking about it, not even tracking my periods (which in hindsight was a bit silly) and today I randomly did a test. I then did three more and they all showed positive. I was in total shock and so did two more, however the final two (not pictured) showed as negative. Very dissapointed but then I did drink a LOT of water in between the tests - could this had affected the results? Not sure what to think now!
ETA to the positive lines showed extremely quickly , even before the control line which I’ve heard is a bad sign?
yes in Ireland it’s 6 months for over 35s & a year for under 35s. Incredibly frustrating esp if you have other issues. Glad another GP sorted for you.I had been on my period from April - August, constantly, and went to doctor to discuss something else, mentioned about TTC and she said you have to wait a whole 12 months of consecutively trying before they’ll do anything. Easier said than done when 4 of those months I was constantly bleedingshe didn’t even gibe Me any pills to stop it! Luckily I went back and someone else did
I have PCOS so thought as it was longer than 6 months they may have referred me, but obviously not! and I’m 33 so not got that much time before I’m 35!
It’s only natural to do the test when it’s sitting looking at you in the press. Try it first thing & see how you get on. Good luck xI’m coming off the pill so my periods are over the place so I don’t know if I’m late. I just did the test now, I knew I should have waited until morning.
Sorry this is new to me I guess I just got carried away!
Im sorry to say that you could be right in thinking that it’s a chemical, however there are other factors that can make tests change/hormone levels drop a little. If you’re comfortable doing so you could call your GP or the Early Pregnancy Unit of your local hospital and they will be able to advise you bettereeling really lost at the moment, I’m pretty sure I’ve had a chemical pregnancy early days but I feel heartbroken. Trying for baby number 3- there will be quite a big age gap 10 years and 6 years.. but I feel like I can’t remember having this before. Tested positive last Monday (faint) , started spotting brown on Wednesday... thought perhaps implantation- Didn’t have it with my girls. First response tests came and tested at around 1pm super dark line As the day went on spotting turned to Quite heavy bleeding. That evening I had mild cramping and back ache.
Still tested everyday and the line got lighter and lighter since then.
Yesterday I had a clot I thought I had passed it
tested this morning and it’s still there but super faint. I felt no sickness last week. But today I feel really sick.
I know I’m clutching at straws but is there any chance? Or is it over this time. I’m pretty sure it’s a chemical from researching I would of been around 4-5 weeks and everything matched up.
Nope, no bleed no pain, still constantly feel sick and my boobs are really sore xxThinking of you!If you don’t mind me asking, have you had any bleeding?
Xx
Hi ladies,
I have a question.
Since I got my static smiley peak face yesterday which was CD12, when would you test? As for the past 4 cycles I have had 32-39 days worth of cycles so never in a million years thought I’d get a peak this early; according to my app AF isn’t due till 10th July due to the length my cycles have been…
When would you test? 2 weeks after expected ovulation?
Thanks xxx
Oh gosh it’s the worst isn’t itI had a hot date with Wanda too!nurse has the cheek to take my blood pressure straight afterwards and ask me if I was anxious as it was a little high
as if I hadn’t just been spread eagle on a table face height with her 30 seconds before hand
So sorry some of you have had these experiences at the EPU, I must just be lucky the doctors at mine are all lovely. XxxI have had two successful pregnancies. My last miscarriage I really didn’t know how to check for anything and tbh I still don’t now. How would I go about checking for myself? I just went to EPU I had an early scan that detected very early pregnancy I had to keep going back to check one day there was an heart beat the next nothing and he was the coldest uncompassionate man. I swore I would never go back again. They were pretty rough, it was such an awful experience. When I got pregnant with my youngest after the mc I didn’t go And it caused me to have the worst anxiety through out the entire pregnancy I just could not enjoy it. So my anxiety with this now knowing I’m pregnant and these stomach pains.
Really? I thought you only had a really short window after you get a peak, and with me getting a peak on the Clearblue digital yesterday I assumed I was pretty much out.You still are in with a chance if you dtd tomorrow as you get a positive 24-36 hours before you ovulate! And then you are still fertile 24 hours after you ovulate, so tomorrow should be the perfect time! Good luck!!
I’ve had both my vaccines. My period was late after both of them by a few days, slight change in flow but no change for the cycle after and they’re completely fine nowHappy Friday all
Thanks to you all being so helpful with your replies last week. Just jumping in to share my vaccine / AF experience. I got the first vaccine on Tuesday, was due for AF on Wednesday anyway and it arrived on time but it’s been very different to my ‘normal’ so far in terms of flow, colour and consistency
We’ve decided to call this ‘trial’ cycle 1 due to the vaccine, and ignore the 14 months of not trying not preventing for my sanity haha. I’m armed with my app, vitamins and ovulation sticks ready for this cycle thanks to you all and hoping for the best.. but I feel like my AF might be all over the place for a few months now, especially with vaccine 2 being in JulyIs there anyone that had their vaccines a little while ago now who can share their experience of how long it took to get your cycle back to how it was before?
(Totally get that some of you are not regular with your cycle anyway and certainly don’t want to cause offence.. just seeing if anyone who does have regular has any feedback on how it went for them)
Looks good to me, have you any other body signs? This is why I use the clearblue as its definitive. I couldn't get on with those OPKs.Just took another. What do you think? This is all so consuming lol x
I had 9 once before the solid. Don't panic just yet soThree flashing smileys... When does the solid one arriveother opks not budging either. So worried I'm not going to ovulate this cycle.
Totally agree.I can’t believe they didn’t just wait until Monday to mention it, seems very tactless! Xx
