I’m going to buy a test tomorrow. Today I’m feeling pretty exhausted and nauseous don’t want to get my hopes up too much. I’ve been busy with work and after clubs. I’m still having bad period like cramps never had them before in my previous pregnancies so maybe my period is just late?

It can be so hard to see. But sometimes implantation can take longer and there’s no way to find that out. Hang in there, you aren’t out until you get your period ❤
Thank you for your reassuring words. I really needed that as I have no one to talk to about this. My partner doesn't understand 😕. Thank you ❤

Not really sure if this is the right place to post this, but couldn’t find an appropriate place… sorry of it isn’t!

Is there anyone here with male infertility? We’ve known this for a while, and were happy with the situation but have recently realised that we perhaps would like to look into it before it’s too late (I’m early 30s). We will need to use a sperm donor if we do, is anyone else in a similar situation?
Unfortunately not, or I don't think so, there was nothing wrong with either of us in 2016 😂 I have a friend with multiple kids but her brother is infertile, he's just had an operation to extract sperm from his balls for IVF 🙈🙈🙈 I doubt that procedure will have a high success rate ☹. Hopefully someone else here will be able to help you. But definitely get help as fast as you can, the sooner the better, I was sent to a fertility clinic in 2016 and it's not as scary as you think it will be. I was offered IVF where they have a time lapse camera, so we would have been able to watch the conception itself!! That's quite a cool thing to show your kid, when old enough and quite a nice benefit of having to go through the process in the first place. Best of luck x

so after I took the frer, I looked back at the pictures and I thought I could see a vvvfl but I don’t think it had colour. I took another frer out of its wrapper and lo and behold it had a grey line already on it. My husband could see the line in the pic too so I knew I wasn’t going mad.

Anyway, we went out for lunch and stopped to see if we could get more frers for me to test again tomorrow however they only had CB 6 days earlier ones which I didn’t want to get because I know blue dye isn’t great but I got it anyway.

Got home and thought might as well do a cheapy strip test (addict) and thought i could see a faint line so did another and the blue dye test and …

What do you guys think? Be brutal! I can def see a very faint line on all 3 but I don’t know. I am either 11dpo or 9dpo, 2 apps telling me 2 different things. I am scared they could all be indents but surely on 3 separate tests that is unlikely? I am too scared to think it is real, I’m in total shock at the prospect. I don’t know if I should believe it or not. I just feel numb because I think I’m too afraid to feel happy just in case. I will of course test again tomorrow.

Ps: they are super yellow because the pregnacare makes my pee fluorescent 😂
I can see a line too 💜 please keep us updated

Aww thanks Louk. I’m delighted to say (after taking a couple more tests) it was a positive! However with my first test, I was genuinely unsure if it was an indent (which I’d never heard of before until I googled faint line) I will post my first test so you ladies have an idea of how it looked. This was at 12dpo. It’s very early days and I hope it sticks. I used Femometer to track my periods/bd days/cm etc and used CB OPKs (purple ones) to track ovulation. My early symptom (10dpo) was quite a heavy cm which kind of gushed out (sorry TMI I know) but this is what led me to test early as it was so different. My test at 10dpo was negative but started showing positive at 12dpo and was undeniably dark at 14dpo. And another symptom was very slight twinges in my lower abdomen (but they were very slight, only in hindsight I’m thinking of them).
I can see a very faint line 🤍 When did you do this test?

Hi ladies, I haven’t posted in a while but need some advice.

my period is a couple of days late, and I’m trying to figure out why.

I had my first (Pfizer) COVID vaccine on 19th June, and my next period was roughly on time (I’m usually around 28 days, but is typically 27-29 days), but I had some light spotting for 4 or 5 days before it started. My period does usually start with spotting, but normally either just the day before, or on the day if my period starts in the evening.

This cycle I was due on Wednesday (day 28) and I still haven’t started yet. I’ve had some light spotting for the last 3 days, but none of the real symptoms I’d usually get - not super headachy/crampy/emotional.

In my May/June cycle, I had a very early chemical pregnancy - my period arrived less than 48 hours after getting a faint positive.

I’ve also started exercising a bit more, nothing extreme, but I do a body pump class about 4/5 times a week.

I’m a bit anxious to get my next vaccine in case that’s what’s causing it. Has anyone else noticed disturbances to their period after the vaccine? How long did it take to right itself?
I had my first Pfizer vaccine mid June (just after my mc) and then my period came July 15th. I’m due on again next week so will be interested to see it affects it or not.

Thanks again all ♥

This morning I’ve started bleeding. I am so very sad but I was prepared that this would happen.

I had a breakdown yesterday on a meeting as I was already muted and sobbing, then a close colleague announced her pregnancy and started talking about baby clothes she was buying. I had to dial off. I’ve taken today off work and will probably take tomorrow too.

The worst bit was waking up this morning and having that brief moment where I felt okay, and then remembering what was happening. It’s like having the realisation all over again. Also just having to get rid of the pregnancy apps on my phone, the pictures we took of us happy with the positive test - seeing how happy we were is just so sad.

I feel like I have taken that happiness from my husband. He cried with happiness when the test was positive and now he’s never going to have that moment again because he knows it won’t always end how you hope. I can’t help but feel guilt for that. I know that it’s not my fault, but it’s so hard.
I’m so so sorry to hear this. Take the time you need to heal and remember we are all here for you 🤍🤍

CD20 over here... Last cycle was a complete washout and went on for 48(!) days so I'm really trying to be positive this time around. Had some strange pain today on the left of my lower abdomen, I'm trying not to read into it but it felt really weird. It's all such a minefield. 🙈

Friend called me last week to tell me she had had an abortion after unprotected sex - she doesn’t know I’m TTC but can’t help but feel angry even though I’m trying to be supportive to her 😞

Ahh thankyou all for responding and being so lovely 🥰 feel very reassured that you can all see the lines too as I know in the past I have had definite line eyes and can convince myself I see a line even if I def don’t 😬

I will def update tomorrow, going to test in the morning and hoping to see a darker line or at least still see one.

Husband and I are trying not to be excited in the mean time just in case it’s indents or a chemical but I hope so much that it’s not 🤞🏻
This is so exciting and I’ve got my fingers crossed!!

Hi everyone! I need some help! I have posted my 3 OPKs bottom one is from last Tuesday, middle is Thursday and top one was Saturday.. I know I should have taken these every day but I just haven’t had the time etc and I’m no longer working from home so back in the office! I give up temping as I’m a very restless sleeper and I’m up with my little boy through the night for toilet runs! Suppose I want to know if people think my peak was Thursday? Or round about then? I’m not an expert on these things btw! Thanks you xxxx

Forgot to attach lol... here they are xx
Middle is darkest but it wokkd be hard to pinpoint without it being every day as your surge can be rapid (over one day) or be over a few days. Out of those tests, Thursday looks darkest to me

I’m just feeling so down today.

I’ve been crying on and off and feel like I can’t stop. I should be 20 weeks today and it should be so happy and exciting to be halfway and it’s just shit. I don’t even know why I’m posting this, I just need to say it to someone. I just can’t fathom how life can be so cruel. I know I’m never going to forget it, but I need someone to tell me the pain won’t last forever and there will be a day where my heart won’t hurt quite so bad 😞💔
I’m so sorry. Sending you love xx

Ah okay, you are still early, even an early result test isn’t recommended until 5 days before the day your period is due. Give it a few more days. I know it’s hard not to test early but you can’t trust a negative at this point anyway x
Thank you ❤ I'll test again in a couple of days. Fingers crossed xx

I am definitely pregnant 🥺🥺

I am so so happy and I feel so lucky, I was really feeling so low this month. Im obviously still scared and wary it could be a chemical as im only between 10-12 dpo but my temp went up this morning so I’m keeping everything crossed this works out 🤞🏻
congratulations! That is wonderful news 💕

I’m good thank you @fishsticks - mostly just tired. I’ve got some worries which I’ve popped in a spoiler box as they are around test progression and I don’t want to trigger anyone who may have had the same. I’m keeping my fingers tightly crossed that I’m worrying for no reason and everything will be fine 🤞🏻

I am still having some big worries around test progression which I’m hoping will go away. I keep telling myself I’m still only 15dpo so the fact I’m not getting dye stealers yet doesn’t mean something is wrong. Internet cheapies we’re getting darker each day but today’s test looks slightly lighter than yesterday’s.

Also on Monday I tested positive on CB weeks indicator and it said 1-2 weeks, redid it yesterday morning and it still says 1-2 which obviously put panic into me. Though that day would literally be the day of 2 weeks so maybe I shouldn’t expect it to say 2-3 yet? IDK but if the same happens to any of you ladies I would advise you not to google it 😕
also remember that your levels double every few days so taking tests isn’t always an indicator. The clear blue ones are notorious for not changing (if you read mumsnet ever it will tell you how many people have the same things!) and they’re so finicky on the levels. You could be just under the cusp for it to tick over or your own personal hormone level might not read what it wants (but remember, whatever is normal for you, is the most important)

These first few weeks are so nervy - but take a breath - you are pregnant right now, and you have to try and trust in your body to do what it needs to do. You got this!

Would anyone like some easy at home tests? I know they are quite expensive for something you essentially piss on 🤣
I also have a full box of the easy at home ones, 6 boots own brand and full box of the clear blue digital ones! Dunno what to do with them... I shouldn’t have stocked up 🤣

That's good that you are understanding. If I get my turn, I will also always always be careful and understanding of people TTC now I know what it's like. One of the hardest parts is people not getting it and telling you what to do and how to feel and just relax, it makes it even lonelier. it is ALWAYS people who conceived easily and have no clue that tell you 'just stop thinking about it' and act like it's obvious as well xx
Wishing you a healthy pregnancy ♥❤

I feel like a bitch but I just dread it and it makes me so sad. Then I feel awful because of the guilt of feeling that way. Xx

It is so tiring. Feel like it rules my life in a way. I haven't lived a normal life where I don't have to think about days of the month and period upset and just having sex when I want to without thinking of fertile days for so long... Then the obvious upset of it all. Sometimes I just don't want to do it anymore. But then I think of a baby and so I have to x
It's exhausting, always the first thing I think of in the morning and what keeps me awake at night, period due in 5 days, the wait is agony
