Well I am either 1dpo, 2dpo or 3dpo depending on which of the 3 apps I use I look at ( all which have the same info 🙃😂).

Compared with last month I feel a lot more chill though which is nice. I’ve relaxed a bit so maybe a bit less stressing will help.

Thank you ❤

And of course I will, however I don’t know if any of it helped as it was the first month doing all of it. It was our second month of doing SMEP, but I think we had better timing this month still.

I took 1000mg of vitamin c, b100 and b6 100mcg from 1DPO onwards as I had read a lot of success stories online that it helped to stop spotting in the luteal phase by regulating progesterone. Both previous months I had spotting and cramping from 8-10dpo. I don’t know if I’m not spotting this month because I’m pregnant or if I’m pregnant because I didn’t spot if that makes sense?

We used pre-seed. Previous months we had used conceive plus, but this month I switched to preseed as I had read a lot of rave reviews and success stories. I used the ones with the plastic tube syringes so you can use it internally before you DTD (so romantic 🥴)

I did the menstrual cup thing after DTD that was discussed here. I read a lot of success stories and it makes sense. I felt it couldn’t hurt to try. My husband definitely thought I was losing my mind (I think I was a bit) but hey! It may have helped a bit. I just made sure it was sterile and put it in after DTD, slept then took it out the following morning. Again.. VERY ROMANTIC.

The last thing is I ate mostly healthy foods and exercised every other day which in previous months I wasn’t so good at. I also made sure I kept my feet really warm after ovulation although who knows if that helped. My feet were toasty though 😂
Cool thanks! Have been using conceive plus for 2 years now, prob time to try pro seed so!!

Told myself I wouldn’t get obsessed with pissing on sticks again yet here I am 🙃😆
It’s almost impossible not to, even though the 2WW is stressful at least it’s a break from the peeing on a stick and comparing the shade of purple between lines 😂

so after I took the frer, I looked back at the pictures and I thought I could see a vvvfl but I don’t think it had colour. I took another frer out of its wrapper and lo and behold it had a grey line already on it. My husband could see the line in the pic too so I knew I wasn’t going mad.

Anyway, we went out for lunch and stopped to see if we could get more frers for me to test again tomorrow however they only had CB 6 days earlier ones which I didn’t want to get because I know blue dye isn’t great but I got it anyway.

Got home and thought might as well do a cheapy strip test (addict) and thought i could see a faint line so did another and the blue dye test and …
View attachment 691012

What do you guys think? Be brutal! I can def see a very faint line on all 3 but I don’t know. I am either 11dpo or 9dpo, 2 apps telling me 2 different things. I am scared they could all be indents but surely on 3 separate tests that is unlikely? I am too scared to think it is real, I’m in total shock at the prospect. I don’t know if I should believe it or not. I just feel numb because I think I’m too afraid to feel happy just in case. I will of course test again tomorrow.

Ps: they are super yellow because the pregnacare makes my pee fluorescent 😂
I can definitely see lines!!!!!! I've got everything crossed for you!!! 💕

Has anyone tried fertility acupuncture? I've been ttc for two feckin years now so am literally willing to try anything, clinic has recommended IUI or IVF even though we have no issues, it's just unexplained infertility, seemed like a bit of a cop out diagnosis to me. Anyway couldn't afford IVF now, have decided in my head to do IUI in September if not pregnant by then. In meantime am giving acupuncture a go, anyone else tried it? It's €60 a go so am wondering how long should I try it for before calling it a day

I’m just feeling so down today.

I’ve been crying on and off and feel like I can’t stop. I should be 20 weeks today and it should be so happy and exciting to be halfway and it’s just shit. I don’t even know why I’m posting this, I just need to say it to someone. I just can’t fathom how life can be so cruel. I know I’m never going to forget it, but I need someone to tell me the pain won’t last forever and there will be a day where my heart won’t hurt quite so bad 😞💔
Bit behind on this thread but I just wanted to say I’m so sorry, sending you all the love and hugs ♥

@Louk hahaha 🤣🤣 I feel like I'm getting all delusional if I'm honest. I hope I'm not Meredith Grey with a hostile uterus.... GROW BABY GROW.

Took a test - BFN but if I am 9dpo then I knowwwww it's still early. I just want to know if my head is making up symptoms or if they're actually real.

My mother-in-law is selling her house to move away (we live on an island) and houses are taking forever to go through at the moment... but I want to give her something to stay. We've spoken about possibly TTC, but we don't want to actively tell her bcus that's weird. I guess that's why I'm feeling the pressure.

Hi everyone, hope you're all doing okay!

So AF is due tomorrow and I've had weird cramps that don't feel like periods pains as well as a dull ache in my lower abdomen for a week or so. So I took a FRER and there's a faint line, but I'm not sure if this is what an indent looks like? Does anyone know? Think I'm being over cautious. Thanks x
That definitely looks like a line to me! Congrats 🎉❤

I really struggle with weight. I've never been 'skinny' or in the healthy BMI zone. I've got chunky calves which are v muscley. I've got ginormous jugs and my arms are like popeyes. I carry fat around my middle the most and it doesn't matter what I do it doesn't disappear. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Dr's never seem too worried as I'm not in the obese BMI, but I do wonder sometimes if there's a hormonal imbalance issue.
I can relate to this, my BMI is higher than it "should" be and I carry weight round my stomach the most. Have you ever had any tests done around potential hormone inbalances?

I can see a very faint line 🤍 When did you do this test?

I had my first Pfizer vaccine mid June (just after my mc) and then my period came July 15th. I’m due on again next week so will be interested to see it affects it or not.
Thanks calm your Rita’s and louk. I wrote within the spoiler of my last post that the test turned out to be positive which I’m delighted about. I included some details around it in my previous post too. It’s extremely early days but really hope it sticks x

Hi everyone,

As expected my period is starting. I saw a little bit when I last went to the toilet. So I know what I'll see when I next go obviously. Ridiculously I have been holding it in as I just don't want to see it. I don't know why, I knew it would come, I had no doubt, but i know how I'm going to feel still and I'm on the verge of tears already.
Anyone else do silly things like this? I've literally seen a bit of blood, I don't know why Im still hiding from it.
I guess the awful fact that it really isn't happening, so much so I can't even imagine it anymore.
So very soon I know I'll officially be cycle 20.

Never had a hint of anything in those 20 long cycles. Will I ever get to see two lines? My heart is hurting that it could mean i actually may not. All this joy I see other people experience at falling pregnant, an amazing surprise, it happening exactly as planned. There is no joy in TTC. All I know from wanting to be a mum so much is the pain now.

My heart is hurting. This journey is so very hard.

Sorry for bringing the thread down ❤
Please don’t apologise, you are not bringing it down at all. We are all here for if you want to chat or just to rant or moan. My heart aches for you and I hope you get your two lines soon ❤

Hi all. Received my BFP today after 2 years and 10 months ttc!

I had a hyfosy done last cycle and the technician said my tubes were totally fine with no blockages but they must have moved something along to help me!
Don't give me this much hope! I had a HSG in April and I am now 3 days late 🙈 I don't think I am pregnant though I just think my PCOS is acting up!

Congratulations to you though xx

Hi all, new to this thread. Husband and I have just really started TTC in the last 2 months. Tomorrow is my ovulation day - so currently in my weeks window of chance of conception.
I don’t fully understand all of the abbreviations you use here yet. And not fully researched in all the tips. Currently just doing the old fashioned DTD and hope for the best.
I’ve never felt desperate to have a baby but now All my friends have babies or are pregnant and I’m starting to panic a bit in case I leave it too late. Currently 33. Husband is desperate for one and he’s been the driving force behind TTC mostly.
all tips and help appreciated
Welcome to our lovely little thread 🤍 the ladies on here are so kind and supportive and always happy to answer any questions you have. Which abbreviations are you not sure on? Xx

Hey 👋

so take Premom as the app you work off, the other 2 will just be estimating (unless you put your strip results in them too!)

You had your peak cd 16 last month which means you would probably ovulate 12-48 hours after your peak reading so CD17/18. It’s normal for it to drop back down the next day.

So keep testing this month and you should ovulate in the next few days, once you see the peak reading you should DTD for a few days but I would start today if I were you as it’s likely to be in the next few days if you are regular 😊

Thank you for taking the time to reply - you’ve reassured me. I think months just feel longer then they are when you’re TTC. It feels like this month has been weeks of opks and it really hasn’t.

Thank you. Going to eat a pack of biscuits and forget about it till tomorrow and stop obsessing 😂

I’m good thank you @fishsticks - mostly just tired. I’ve got some worries which I’ve popped in a spoiler box as they are around test progression and I don’t want to trigger anyone who may have had the same. I’m keeping my fingers tightly crossed that I’m worrying for no reason and everything will be fine 🤞🏻

I am still having some big worries around test progression which I’m hoping will go away. I keep telling myself I’m still only 15dpo so the fact I’m not getting dye stealers yet doesn’t mean something is wrong. Internet cheapies we’re getting darker each day but today’s test looks slightly lighter than yesterday’s.

Also on Monday I tested positive on CB weeks indicator and it said 1-2 weeks, redid it yesterday morning and it still says 1-2 which obviously put panic into me. Though that day would literally be the day of 2 weeks so maybe I shouldn’t expect it to say 2-3 yet? IDK but if the same happens to any of you ladies I would advise you not to google it 😕
Been spending some time away from this site/thread but a huge congratulations to you on your pregnancy!

Hello, I didn't think I'd be back so soon but here I am.

TW for the below.

So last Friday I got my first positive followed by a digital positive on Saturday. We were elated, obviously. I had ridiculously sore boobs, nausea and mild cramping but nothing major.

Yesterday I just knew something wasn't right. Had a very very small amount of blood in CM,but the cramping intensified. This morning took a test and it came back negative and now I'm bleeding.

I'm absolutely devastated and can't stop crying. I know it was very early, but it's still heartbreaking. We've decided we're going to try again straight away, but not track ovulation or anything. Don't want to get my hopes up again. What will be will be I guess! (even though I hate that saying!!)

Hope everyone is doing okay x
Oh no, fish sticks, I’m so sorry to read this. It doesn’t matter how early the pregnancy was, it’s still a huge loss for you and your partner. I’m so sorry x

This tww is paaaaainful. Think I'm 9dpo and the tests are calling my name 😭 trying to wait it out as I know I'll end up disappointed. Got enough going on with covid cases increasing horrendously here and failing an exam.

Happy Friday all ❤

Thanks to you all being so helpful with your replies last week. Just jumping in to share my vaccine / AF experience. I got the first vaccine on Tuesday, was due for AF on Wednesday anyway and it arrived on time but it’s been very different to my ‘normal’ so far in terms of flow, colour and consistency 😲

We’ve decided to call this ‘trial’ cycle 1 due to the vaccine, and ignore the 14 months of not trying not preventing for my sanity haha. I’m armed with my app, vitamins and ovulation sticks ready for this cycle thanks to you all and hoping for the best.. but I feel like my AF might be all over the place for a few months now, especially with vaccine 2 being in July 🤦🏼‍♀️ Is there anyone that had their vaccines a little while ago now who can share their experience of how long it took to get your cycle back to how it was before?

(Totally get that some of you are not regular with your cycle anyway and certainly don’t want to cause offence.. just seeing if anyone who does have regular has any feedback on how it went for them)
