Hey ladies! I haven’t been on here for a while I needed to take some space from ttc for a while. I haven’t had a period since April and my weight has also been creeping up despite no change in diet or exercise routine. I’ve just been feeling down and fat lately 😩
I’ve had blood tests and also repeat blood tests and the doctor wanted to talk to me about my results. Annoyingly she isn’t back in the surgery until a week on Wednesday so im waiting to hear back on what she would like to discuss. I also have a scan booked to check my overies at the end of the month too. From an internet search I may have low progesterone which could explain the recent weight gain and no periods. Obviously I can’t confirm until I speak to my GP. Has anyone had anything similar?

Quite similar. He didn’t want to know when my fertile period was from the beginning so I never told him but I think he can guess. He also feels I’ve been stressing too much over it and thinks that could be contributing to not getting pregnant as yet, so can’t help but feel I’ve been stressing him out a bit too.
He also feels I contacted my GP too soon to start investigating 🙄 but I think he’s just nervous, which I understand. I approached them at a year of trying which is reasonable, but by the time we’ve actually got a sperm analysis booked it’ll be 14 months.
It’s funny how we can have different views you know? I want to know as soon as possible if there’s a problem with either of us but he’s happy waiting it out a bit longer and relaxing more.
I definitely think you've waited the right amount of time, he probably doesn't want a hot date with a cup 🤣 🤣

CD14 and still no smiley faces on my OPKs. I convince myself everytime that a flashy smiley will come up and it’s just that annoying bloody circle. Previously had my peak by now so I don’t know what’s going on

hope you’re all okay! 🤍
Hope you get a flashy face in the next few days, or you could go straight to a solid face, I know that happens for some people.

My dates move around loads so I know how you feel. I actually think waiting to ovulate when you have no idea when it will happen is harder than the 2ww, at least you know where you are in the 2ww!

Hi everyone,

So I had the vaccine last week and now I am 6 days late. Last time it made my period come early.
No symptoms, but my partner kept on at me to test. I have a night out saturday so I reluctantly did(I hate testing as the negatives make me feel so bad)
And I got my first ever BFP. ❤

I am honestly in total shock. We are at the fertility clinic. My partner has low sperm mobility and I found out a week ago today that I have endometriosis and was devestated.

Its early days and I know anything could happen. I also know this may make some of you feel bad. But I also hope it gives some of you some hope. It's taken 20 cycles and no hint of anything in all that time.

I found out today my SIL is also pregnant. Straight away. It still made me annoyed. Its really unfair. The heartache of TTC had made me decide I didn't want to try next month. But it had already happened ❤

I have a way to go but I hope my news gives you all that hope tonight if any of you are in need of it ❤
Congratulations ❤

We get married this month so trying to focus on that instead... who am I kidding, I’ll still be tracking everything and overthinking every feeling I get. 😂. If only it was easy just to forget about it for a bit, as people seem to think.

Hello, I didn't think I'd be back so soon but here I am.

TW for the below.

So last Friday I got my first positive followed by a digital positive on Saturday. We were elated, obviously. I had ridiculously sore boobs, nausea and mild cramping but nothing major.

Yesterday I just knew something wasn't right. Had a very very small amount of blood in CM,but the cramping intensified. This morning took a test and it came back negative and now I'm bleeding.

I'm absolutely devastated and can't stop crying. I know it was very early, but it's still heartbreaking. We've decided we're going to try again straight away, but not track ovulation or anything. Don't want to get my hopes up again. What will be will be I guess! (even though I hate that saying!!)

Hope everyone is doing okay x
I am so sorry for your loss💗
How far along you are never seems to change the pain you feel, but it does usually mean the earlier you are the less people know and in turn the less support you have around you. If you’re comfortable with doing so, I would try to speak to a friend or family member about how you are feeling for those times when you think you need somebody other than your partner to help soothe you.
you can use this thread to talk to us all here too, or feel free to drop me a message if you need afriendly chat.

We’re so anxious about the results of the sperm analysis Monday 😩. I’m so angry they told my OH it was abnormal with no context and told to wait til Monday. I’m aware it could be something minimal but also can’t shake it could be something really bad.
Wishing you all the best and please let us know on Monday if you can. I can’t imagine how you’re feeling with that hanging over you all weekend! Sending lots of love and positive energy 💖

Who wants to DTD in this heat?! I can’t cope 🥵
No one. And guess who just got a positive OPK… me 😬 (finally on CD24 🎉)

We have been doing SME plan so having to do it at least every other day anyway, it’s probs been the least sexy DTD ever in this heat 😂

Well after having super irregular periods for months it finally seemed like it was evening out last month… I’m now 3 days late and don’t know if I should test or wait it out. I know it makes sense to test I’m just scared I’ll be letting myself down yet again

So scratch my last message saying I was fuming at my partner being away this week as I should ovulate. AF is reappearing after 10 days 🙁
So as it stands I had no period for 6 months, then had the weirdest lightest period of my life for 10days and now 10 days later I’ve got brown af arrival

Hi everyone,

As expected my period is starting. I saw a little bit when I last went to the toilet. So I know what I'll see when I next go obviously. Ridiculously I have been holding it in as I just don't want to see it. I don't know why, I knew it would come, I had no doubt, but i know how I'm going to feel still and I'm on the verge of tears already.
Anyone else do silly things like this? I've literally seen a bit of blood, I don't know why Im still hiding from it.
I guess the awful fact that it really isn't happening, so much so I can't even imagine it anymore.
So very soon I know I'll officially be cycle 20.

Never had a hint of anything in those 20 long cycles. Will I ever get to see two lines? My heart is hurting that it could mean i actually may not. All this joy I see other people experience at falling pregnant, an amazing surprise, it happening exactly as planned. There is no joy in TTC. All I know from wanting to be a mum so much is the pain now.

My heart is hurting. This journey is so very hard.

Sorry for bringing the thread down ❤
I echo that you are not alone at all ❤ I felt my period coming yesterday on a long drive home from a weekend away. I was dreading going to the toilet as I knew the outcome 😔 it’s a pain that is so unbelievably real but one that is so hard to explain to someone who is not going through or has never been through this.💕x

I think if that's what she meant she would have said that. No part of what she said indicated to me that she understands how I am feeling. It was more bragging in my opinion. Hope I'm wrong but 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
I don’t tell any of my friends that we are trying because of that very reason. Those without kids don’t get it & those with kids got pregnant each time they tried. They can never understand.

I’m not TTC, and you girls may have looked into this, but I swear by the SMEP.
I’m on my second month of doing this plan (just finished the 3 days). Obviously didn’t work for us the first month but I’m hoping this month it will have 🤞🏻

Doesn’t make you sound like a bitch at all!🤍

to be honest, when a patient comes in and announces they are pregnant, I stab it angrily into their medical history notes 🙈

period arrived today 🙄😫 premom seems to get it bang on each month… I’m going to use their predictions for ovulation I think.

I’m out until autumn/winter now anyway as my bf works away. I’ve got myself a glass of Prosecco!
I'm out too, took a FR test this morning, AF is due tomorrow, just couldn't wait but its a negative, we are booked in for an IUI in September so fingers crossed that works!

I did... Big fat negative. It feels like everyone is announcing pregnancies around me right now. 🥺 My cycle last month ended up being 48 days and I'm now on CD34. Really starting to wonder if it's ever going to happen for us. I feel like I'm letting everyone down, there's so much speculation in our families.

Sending love to anyone who needs it tonight. ❤
Sorry girl 😟 was hoping for you. Sending love 🤍
Just wanted to say hello and hopefully join the conversation here.

I’m very new to all online TTC communities (will hopefully feel comfortable with the acronyms soon!) and wasn’t expecting to be in this situation as until I unexpectedly fell pregnant last year I wasn’t sure if I definitely wanted children. I’d got to 33 years old without any strong feelings either way. Sadly I lost that pregnancy at 7.5 weeks, since when I’ve been just... desperate. So many people told me their first pregnancy ended in an early loss that I somehow assumed I just needed to get pregnant again and this time it would work out. It took me 6 months and then I lost that pregnancy too, at only 6 weeks. I’m 5 weeks on from that now but fairly sure I haven’t ovulated yet as I get very obvious signs that are yet to happen. Waiting impatiently.

I don’t really know where I go from here, and I’m absolutely petrified at the thought of another loss (which almost seems inevitable if there is a next time), but I’m so hoping to conceive again. Also hoping for everybody here to get their positives too.
welcome! I’m sorry to hear about your previous losses, that must have been awful for you and your partner 😟 keeping everythjng crossed you get a happy healthy pregnancy soon. If you’re stuck on any acronyms, just ask! 🥰🤍

I’ve seen NO pregnancy announcements today. I can’t believe it. I’m so glad. Sorry if that sounds selfish. I had a nice family day and no one tends to bring up babies so I haven’t felt triggered today.

11 dpo and have had AF cramps since 9dpo but no AF 😩 they were worse last night tbh and have calmed down this morning. I did have one tiny speck of blood in my cm yesterday, but I wouldn’t have noticed it were I not checking and nothing since so who knows what is going on. My temp is still up currently.

Just feels like af is trying to happen and taking her sweet time (which seems to be the whole theme of this cycle for me).
This is all positive signs! You’re not out until AF shows up! Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼 when do you think you’ll test? Xx

Had my call from the gp yesterday. I have pcos and it does not appear I am ovulating. She is prescribing me some medication to bring on a ‘period’ and in 6 months I can check in again with her if we haven’t conceived to look into other methods. Very unhelpful phone call tbh. If I’m not ovulating how can we carry on trying, if I’m not having periods how can I track anything. Has anyone had any success stories with pcos and no periods?
We do already have a child and I know we are SO SO lucky and she reminded me of that but it still didn’t make this news any easier.
Hey lovely! I have PCOS and went 6 months without a period, so I know the frustration so well! So sending you love ♥ I felt hopeless but didn’t want to start using opks as I knew I’d be wasting money as I’d have to pee on a stick nearly every day hoping for something.

I don’t know if it was just a coincidence but I was recommended by someone on here (I’m so sorry I can’t remember who!) to try taking inositol. I started taking it on 30th May and I got my first period in 6 months on the 30th June.. so who knows if it is linked but maybe worth a shot?

I’m waiting for a fertility appointment currently so I don’t have a success story you were asking for but I’m hoping this is the start of things working ‘normally’ for me.

You may already have a child but it doesn’t make the heartache of TTC any less ♥

I might join this thread - I’ve been lurking for a while as I waited to finish up on the pill and this looks like it’s one of the most welcoming and friendly TTC chats I’ve seen (some forums are a bit scary, at least for people just starting TTC).

I am on cycle 1, 4DPO, am 33 and I have diagnosed endometriosis stage 2. I have been advised to start testing for ovulation and temping etc initially my first cycle was just meant to be me learning how to do it etc then I got very positive OPKs and my BBT shot up so we decided let’s just start trying but now I’m in the TWW and as much as I tell myself I shouldn’t be disappointed if I get a BFN next week, I know I will be and start panicking.

I am struggling a lot with the hormone fluctuations and my endo has flared up during ovulation and currently (I have bad nausea which I know is just the progesterone) and I can’t take any of the anti inflammatories I normally have 😩

Anyone who went off the pill - do the fluctuations get better? I don’t think this happened the last time I was off the pill in my mid 20s 😭
Welcome 👋

I think everyone secretly thinks it will happen the first month and then panics when it doesn’t - please don’t worry if it doesn’t. It’s actually super lucky to get pregnant after one month, the odd are like 33% each month even with perfect timing and perfect health.

I have only been off the pill 3 cycles and I would say my mood and hormones stabilised as time went on.

Good luck 💖
