She's mentioned his suicide many times and it's been reported in the press. He jumped off the roof of a shopping centre a week after the police talked him down from the same spot. He had declared bankruptcy shortly before his death. BuzzFeed News names him in this article: https://www.buzzfeednews.com/articl...-with-blood-14-suspected-hits-on-british-soil. He was one of the business partners of someone who helped Russian oligarchs move their money from Russia into the UK. US intelligence had a file on Trinny's husband because his suicide was deemed suspicious by them. The UK government basically ruled all the suspicious deaths of these men as suicides to not rock relations with Russia. Was almost certain she mentioned on a podcast that he had died by suicide?
When it comes to someone with actual diagnosed diabetes, don’t listen to any of these fad nutritionists. Listen to the drs, specialist nurses and specialist dieticians only!.Thanks! This is interesting, my fella has Type2 and I wanna be more educated on it!
She parrots lines about "women don't need the same levels of hormones at 50 as we did at 20 or 30! Your body's not supposed to make them any more!" We don't know this is true because it has never been studied! There is so little research into how the ovaries work and how menopause happens, and basically none (even in animals) as to the safety/efficiency of higher doses of HRT - despite recent evidence emerging that it isn't as much of a cancer risk as was previously believed. She's the last person to be telling women how they should feel about menopauseThis really rubbed me the wrong way. Someone whose face looks like a ghoul listing all the ways a woman is ‘less than’ after menopause.
I’d say there are a lot worse things than being old, such as being incredibly vain.

I agree. Her recent Liberty of London shop-up was so nice... mostly because there was no mention of Trinny London! At a certain point there really isn't much to say about an eyeshadow or a serum, but she continues pushing out content like crazy.I used to really enjoy Trinny but her content has gone downhill significantly in my view over the last year.
Her blatant, constant sales pitches are exhausting. Meanwhile her face morphs regularly and inexplicably.
Her talents - being personally authentic and styling in an interesting, creative way - seem pushed to the side. Disappointing.
I think she is careful with money, she's spoken before about having to sell a lot of her stuff to fund her business, she had investors to help her get started and I think she has been "shrewd" with her money since then.Yes, exactly! Trinny is obviously making good money but puts on this weird act of having to be really careful with money, it comes across as not very genuine.
Just an fyi (from someone who has been to an event), the ticket price is redeemable against the products.I found her latest reel interesting: need direction in your 50s? JOIN A TRINNY TRIBE! Obviously these ticketed Trinny Tribe events are lucrative. A reasonably expensive ticket in return for a photo with Trinny and maybe some make up advice but the crowds look large and disorganised. The Trinny Tribe FB groups are as boring as batshit.
Truth. It wouldn't be received well now, but they never actually tried to change the women, just the outfits. They never suggested anyone lose weight, lift the saggy tits or whatever. Just like - don't cover your small waist, throw some colour on, own what you have.It was the X factor age, we pointed and laughed at others. I loved the show, it was mostly women who hadn't updated their look in 10/20 years. I was a hip Young thing back then and knew women who still had the 80s hairstyle and everything else.
In my opinion the show that followed on ch 4 was way worse, 10 years younger (?) They actually put women under the knife for entertainment.
Don't think that would wash today but then we have social media heaping the pressure on women now.
How do you know that? I think we really don’t know enough of her life for guessing that. Tbh, I started earning my own money with 18, but never had thought of going to another continent without my parents. I find already that quite independent from her.Yes but it’s not just her age it’s her behaviour and how she is babied. In my opinion. I don’t know any other as young 18 year olds as her. She’s more like 14/15.
Imo, she has ADHD.I had a good break from watching her as she was too much. I do have a huge amount of respect for her and find her engaging and fun but she is exhausting to watch all the time. Like she's scared of staying still. And the volume of clothes...just not normal.
it was literally the live she did trying on Zara stuff maybe two weeks ago when I started seeing the first negative and rude comments.Just being rude for the sake of it. I felt terribly sorry for Lyla yesterday and Trinny. As a mother myself I can understand how hurt Trinny was for her daughter.Weird. When did the mood change so much? I got the impression that people in the comments are always PRAISING Trinny, no matter what she does, and Lyla as well.
Perhaps Lyla has asked Trinny to visit her every second weekend? After what happened when she tried to move overseas last time (homesickness is an obvious issue) I really just don’t understand why she didn’t just go to uni somewhere in the UK?! Could’ve even chosen a London one and continued living with Trinny and her step-brother. Surely she already has some school friends living in the UK which would help keep her grounded too?I get that trinny wants to support her and that Lyla needs the support but wouldn’t she be better to maybe have a friend or family member visit her and her mum maybe visit her once a month. I hope Lyla makes it and enjoys it but I just don’t see it happening for her. It is tough going to uni and making friends, I’ve done it, and moved country but trinny is not helping her by her actions one tiny bit.
I did, it was fun, but I was slightly disturbed by the number of ladies wearing yellow and sequins…Oh good. Maybe she was just hyper stressed when I saw her earlier in the week. Hope you had a great night.
