Travel Beans: it’s raining. We have a baby. It’s tight quarters in the van. We look scrubby. We eat standing up. Let’s drink whiskey.
snooze festival

Get a bigger van! Live in a house! Get an apartment! Plan better! Do something.

Bloody awful to watch, did they rent somewhere when she was heavily pregnant? I thought they had a house

Pretty sure the flat they rented was in Weston Super Mare. Al is from round that way and his parents are there. Either way, have they given it up?
Looked miserable, £20+ to sleep in a multistorey car park? £10/night to sleep in a couple of other car parks with nothing but toilets by way of facilities.

It's very possible that they moved close to family to help with Noah. I just remember them saying the closeness to the airport was the flat's selling point to them because they were deluded enough to think they'll be on a plane constantly with a newborn.
Having said that, looking to buy a house in remote Scotland makes even less sense. Is it because you get more for your money in Scotland? But then what? You're stuck there with no family or friends around and they don't have colleagues either who would make settling in easier. It's just the three of them and a camera, most likely poorly renovating a damp and mouldy cabin.

where about in Scotland were they moving to?

I watched the campervibe vlog earlier. So it is Ireland, not Scotland, where they are house hunting. I previously thought they were another couple looking in Scotland. Some of those places they looked at though whilst could be beautiful, they struggled to drive their van too! So, how are they going to get materials deliveries etc? My sister has struggled to get specialist contractors to a village property in mid Wales let alone such a remote place. When I say specialist, I mean people to replace/update her LPG heating system with something more modern/eco so not even that out there. Someone in the comments mentioned about Louise's mum and not being so far out that she can't get there/struggle to get back home.
It's a lovely idea living remotely but the day to day actuality is going to be very different. There's a reason these properties are sitting there empty!

Only watched a couple of their videos. (travel beans) I cannot stand how she laughs like a drain everytime her dopey husband speaks. That poor baby seems so understimulated too.

Reckon Travel Beans should have their own thread by now. They're out of control. Always the same, these vloggers get a bit of money and think they're god's gift to the world.

So why are the scummy Beans buying a house in Scotland if they've never felt welcome there? Is their plan to make weekly hateful vlogs about locals with made up drama while being loud and obnoxious brats with a camera in the community's faces themselves?

I am actually surprised this comment on their "The Truth" video wasn't deleted or hidden.

They wouldn't have need to post a video to take a stab at apologizing without actually apologizing if they didn't feel that they were in the wrong.

“We haven’t posed any videos damming the Scots as hostile” - you literally posted a video with a title of Angry Locals, Why Scotland Hates Van Life. They are bleeping stupid at best but my guess is that they are plain manipulative. “I find this comment confusing” - no you don’t love, you know exactly what you’re doing and it’s absolutely pathetic.

They are literally gaslighting that commenter and the only confusing thing here is why anyone willingly chooses to watch their tit show of a channel anymore. They’ve shown their true colours this past week. I wouldn’t even want to give them the satisfaction of their own thread! They’d love it. They’ve fallen into the gutter of YT.

He might not but I'm interested to see if Mike does another response to their follow up video.

But that's exactly what they want to achieve with their new vlog. They want to keep the controversy going and the clicks and engagement that comes with it. They must be sitting in their damp and mouldy van cackling at the amount of money this is making them.

Oooh wow!
I am glad I stumbled across this thread after searching for Trent and Allie.
Allie has been clickbaiting that something was going on behind the scenes for a few months now and finally hinted that her mum isn't well.
I wondered if Tattle Life had picked up on that type of content.
I'm also going to mention Nomadic Movement whilst I am here. They clickbaited there dog being ill in Panama but then had a blast in Atlanta Georgia.
I am mainly here for the Ingham threads but do follow van life content and wanted somewhere to chat about the fact that some of my favourite channels were
Trent and Allie
Nomadic Movement
Eamon and Bec
While they were van lifers but now they are settled with babies they are as bad as the family vloggers, well they are family vloggers exploiting their children.
Trent has a son that didn't want to be in the vlogs. We didn't even know about him for 6 years but when him and Allie had Leo, they don't give him the choice to stay off YouTube.
There is so much to say, I love that this thread exists. Thank you 😊

I haven’t watched Trent and Allie in years. Found them so fake and shilling anything they could get their hands on. Thought they’d be sponsored by the trees in the forest at one point. Also not surprised Trent has a son. Has anyone seen the reports about him? Just Google him and a mug shot and article will come up somewhere. Don’t want to say too much as don’t know if their legal team keep things quiet on the internet. Reddit threads about it get shut down pretty quickly. I can’t stand the pair of them.

Never got into Nomadic Movement as they seemed to enjoy clickbait drama and I just avoided them. Tbh out of those three I only used to watch Eamon and Bec but find myself skipping more and more of their videos now. Think that whole American/Canadian van life era is over now.

Yeah I thought that too. Sealed bids are taken pretty seriously in Scotland. It was the fact they are submitted confidentially, but the seller broke that confidentiality by telling Kinging It what the highest bid was so they could top it.
Which really isn’t fair and I don’t how legal that actually was. And Craig and Aimee filmed it in all its 4k glory! Must be dodgy enough for them to remove the entire video. Wonder what they’ll say about it 🧐
Did they talk about this in the video? I’ve just watched what I assume is the reupload of them getting the house and there was no mention of them knowing they were the highest bidder?
