Well looks as if The Sun aren't interested in picking up this story, this individual has literally stolen 40k in a scam!
The Sun are a scummy shitrag anyway. I think, like a lot of awful people, he is unfortunately going to get away with doing this abhorrent thing. All of his actions indicate that he feels at least a little guilty about having done this, so at least we know he isn't 100% enjoying himself. I don't know why but I don't see him reactivating his 'verified' Instagram account any time soon so at least he will no longer have the income from flogging bullshit overpriced spices.
As an aside, I find it hilarious that people even buy this stuff and that it's marketed as syn-free. A) it's not rocket science to work out what is in each rub and make your own; it's probably about ten times cheaper doing it that way, and B) spices would be syn free anyway, so promoting them as such indicates how clueless many people are about what they eat and what goes into their food.
Hopefully, and in addition to this, he will continue to face the longer term ramifications in his personal life; I.e. having quit his good, full time job in favour of a part time retail one, some of his friends and family never really seeing him in the same way again once they know he essentially embezzled money from the public, and so on.
What is most terrible about this, in my opinion, is the fact that he managed to curry sympathy from so many people by manipulating them into thinking he is this deserving person who 'loves' all of his followers and is so grateful for their money. All this when there are so many people who are more deserving. That money could have bought a new hospital bed, or paid the yearly salary for a teacher. I honestly hope he feels terrible about this for the rest of his life.
I bet he leaves those rank knee length white socks on when he does the deed as well
