Oh well … at least the subs over there are getting the gold star treatment … while the truth hurts, many would argue in disbelief if you told them a week ago this was how they were about to be treated.
Tiffany would have known which video was going to be her last in the pre recorded lineup, so she has had an eternity of time to get an IG, small video or ‘whatever’ out to say ‘see you next year’ … oh no, not our girl, too self absorbed and egotistical to consider others. Matt would be HA HA HA’ing at not having a camera in his face, Elodie looks a little space cadet family (so don’t think she would think it’s her domain to advise anything) and dear Amma … well I think she needs permission to speak, so clearly it’s not Amma who will be updating.
Never mind about the TTF, that’s effectively what’s she’s done … after all, they’re just names in black and white … why worry!
Pass go, collect and see you all again tomorrow for another chapter of ‘last weeks news’ !

The surgeon would not usually be telling the family anything he had not yet disclosed to his patient, so with Tiffany in ICU and heavily medicated, it’s not usually best practice to tell the patient much until they can appreciate and understand.
It would be traumatic for all of them having her in hospital at this time of the year … I’m sure they have lots of things to keep them busy as well as visit hospital, so it’s likely that updating is just not their priority. It doesn’t make it right, but it’s actually not their issue, it’s Tiffany’s!

Not necessarily true about the surgeon. When I had surgery twice (not cancer related) my doctor went out to waiting room to speak with my hubby and parents both times before I was even awake.

Wow … so deleting comments yet unable to place a small update online. That’s awful.
Updates like you have mentioned are perfectly ok and a good personable doctor should do that, but discussing operative findings and news such as not being able to remove all of the tumour etc, should first be told to the patient before anyone else is updated, unless there is an agreement to the contrary.

I agree. I'm watching and waiting myself. Sadly, the more I watch and wait, the less I like what I see. I've given her the benefit of the doubt about lying and I'm one of the ones that think she will be posting again and will tell us something of what she had done eventually.

But I have to say my biggest disappointment of all (among many) is today. Just that she hasn't had anyone update at all when it must be 1 or 2 days now since surgery ended. Months and months of calling all of us her family, selling us stuff, making money off of everyone to the tune of probably enough to live off of. Plenty of time to visit every garden center, ooo and ahhh over every cheap piece of Christmas crap, try every kitchen appliance that exists, but not enough time to say, "Hey, Elodie, could you post on your Instagram or my Youtube after surgery is done and let everyone know that I'm alive." If she's not alive, I take it all back, but there are literally thousands of viewers who she has called family hoping to know how she's doing when she's having surgery "in 4 days." And it's already happened and she hasn't told any of them anything. If she is alive, and I hope she is, I just think it's inexcusable.

Very wise … you must be a different generation to me HA!
My gen are all rip, tit and bust … I admire those who like to first!
However … (my generation are so good at agreeing then wanting the last say .. HA!)
I’m happy to support the charity/foundation/organization who will, without prejudice, review, assess and look into what is fact and what is fiction because I am not sure if I listened to what Tiffany told me, I would ever really have the truth. Somebody neutral really does need to review this situation and I support those brave enough to take this to task.
Something of interest to me, is that these are both people of medical background and knowledge. I must say, when you have a background/profession in the health field, it is easy to agree with others, be ‘we’ medical, nursing or allied professionals who have raised concerns, because this story and journey is unlike any other.
It would be reassuring and healthy for everyone to have some clarity … for this reason, I would like to support if and where I can.

Hi Daisy chain, I am way older than your generation but my daughter tells me I’m more like a teenager lol. But I’ve learned in my Life not everything is as it seems. There is something definitely wrong with Tiffany, but I don’t know exactly what it is and I’m talking mentally not her cancer. but you’re right I do give people the benefit of the doubt and since she’s just had surgery and is in ICU, I’m more apt to Give her some leeway. I know, I know she should have given someone the green light to update her loving Tiffany family that she’s out of surgery at least. Maybe she did maybe she didn’t. She has a lot of money at stake with her channel so maybe something will come out in a few days. however if all this turns out to be a scam, I would join some kind of protest group because I’m way too invested in the outcome of her surgery.

Eh, I hate this narrative that cancer is more tragic because it hits a ‘young’ person (she’s 30 btw, not 13). Cancer is a horrendous beast, the age of it’s target is irrelevant.

Same here. When my beloved Dad had his brain tumor biopsied, the doctor told us that the biopsy confirmed the most aggressive stage 4 glioblastoma. Poor Dad wasn’t even awake, just like you, but they didn’t hesitate to tell us.

But what I still can't fathom are the thousands of followers who can't or won't see what is right in front of their faces. It's cult behavior, which is why I dubbed them the Dolt Cult. Why are they so taken in by this conniving 30 year old? I assume many of them are reasonably intelligent people. But in this case, they seem to have let their reason and judgement fly out the window and have developed this slavish devotion to a stranger who, in reality, doesnt give two hoots about them. It's mind boggling.
