I honestly believe her coming off social media isn’t about trolls or online bullying. I think it’s all about trying to get this thread deleted. For someone who’s father tried to get rid of her affair scandal, having this thread and all of her social media wrong doings easily found with a quick google search could be damaging towards his business and family name. It’s totally out of their control now. We saw it with her editing her instagram, changing her profile picture to all grey and removing a lot of posts.
When/if this thread no longer exists and she thinks the dust has settled, she’ll be back.

Crazy that Tiffany Brien would rather go through all of this drama with playing the victim (over and over again) than simply come on social media and sincerely apologise for all she has said and done. You would think someone (anyone) with a bit of care for her would have advised her that putting your hands up and admitting you’ve done and said bad things is always the smart thing to do. She will try to have this thread removed but that’s not how tattle works.Call me sceptical but I wonder if she’s deactivated her Facebook trying to get this thread removed? Surely if it had’ve been her intention to leave Facebook too she would have done it at the same time as insta?

I think if she’s removed her public social media profiles and just keeping her private ones then all that will happen is that this thread will be closed for further comment. It won’t be removed and people can still read it.
I’ve said before.... as have others - but I’d have a lot more respect for her if she put her hands up..... this is what I’ve done, I see now how this was wrong and the impact it did/ could have had, apologise and have a discussion in her comments with followers? Maybe. It would show a lot of integrity and be a good opportunity to teach others.

accountability feels like an attack when you’re not ready to acknowledge how your behaviour harms others. (Not my quote I saw it on insta).
To me this is so true, it’s so hard to think about mistakes especially if you hold yourself to very high standards (which I’m assuming Tiffany might.... & nothing wrong with this, it’s learned behaviour and can be rewarding but also have a massive effect on self esteem)
Not saying I’m an angel and it’s taken a lot of thought & reflection for me to be okay with apologising for things in life and admit I’m wrong (I’m stubborn

I wondered the same. This thread won’t get deleted though, I thought it would just be locked from further commentary, because she was a public figure when she the comments were made.
considering the news stories on tiffany, would that not still counts as a person in the public eye?

You are both right.
I think it’s gotten to the point that Tiff has courted attention from the public eye for about 10 years now and chickens have come home to roost.
either take ownership of past mistakes (we all have a skeleton or two!) or retire from being in the public eye. I think Tiffany has decided to go for the latter.

Out of curiosity I checked the comments for the article on Twitter, Reddit, Facebook etc. They were all pretty disparaging. Worse for Tiffany, the article and the drama created out of her leaving Instagram (Hi Cathy M), has drawn more attention to this thread.
I can’t wrap my head around who sanctioned that newsbite, but Cathy Martin really did not help Tiffany. I can’t decide if it was concealed malice on her part or just utter tone deafness.

You would kind of expect a "PR guru" to understand the impact of braying about something like this on insta and publishing newspaper articles about it.

She’s just ignoring all the other comments where people are expressing anger about her lack of respect for the lockdown laws and her derogatory comments about the Down syndrome community. Zero accountability. Zero remorse.

I feel like the whole group are social climbers and tend to only date and interact with people in their “social circle”. I think everyone associated with TB is the same including the whole family and who they’re dating. I know TB’s brother’s girlfriend’s friend’s and they are very stuck up and social climb.
What about Tiffany and Alison Campbell? As she was Miss NI they usually stick with her... did they fall out or did she just go to Cathy’s?
