42 years!! The rum bag will be in his 70s before he can even apply for parole looks like it could be a whole life order anyway. I hope he's crying his eyes out in them cells

Who said 42 years?
It's a 30 year minimum starting point for murder with a firearm and/or for gain (as I believe it was a paid hit)

Add in the other convictions, aggravating factors (haven't followed the trial closely but just for starters that I'm aware of - background of organised crime, paid hit, premeditated and (not very well) planned, Olivia should have been safe in her own home, he had two weapons) and, from what I can see, very little if any mitigation, I think it will be somewhere between 38-42 years but the judge will stop short of a whole life order.
And the aggravating factors. Not my first rodeo people. I could totally be a judge! 😂

Hope he doesn’t try and top himself and take the cowards way out. He deserves to rot in hell.

thank you to everyone who has contributed to these threads over the last few weeks. They’ve been very informative.
I have a strong feeling he will try to kill himself.

Quite tearful as are we all over this. This is good justice. I'd like to think he doesn't make it 42 days. But it's done.

He will try and top himself coz he’s a coward, he won’t cope doing 42 years in jail

I will never forget Cheryl's victim Impact statement - it was so so powerful.

42 years now that's a decent sentence. Doesn't bring Olivia back but probably one of the highest we will ever see.

I hope they watch him well he doesn't deserve the release of suicide he should serve every single day of that sentence plus more if he out lives it.

That seems like a just sentence, although obviously my heart breaks for her family and I am sure no sentence would be long enough if I were in their shoes. I have found everyone’s input on this thread very interesting (even though I haven’t commented before - I’ve read a lot of posts).

RIP Olivia. 💐
