Agree about lockdown, I was hating going to my baby groups cause the other mothers were clichy witches so its been nice not having to make excuses for not going. Or going and feeling like shite after.
2m away from my face, the dream!I've loved lockdown too. I know it's a privilege to be able to say that but I've enjoyed the quieter pace of life and being away from people
I hope it stays forever2m away from my face, the dream!
Baby groups are the worst. I felt like I needed to go with my first. With my second i was like duck no we will do our own thing.Agree about lockdown, I was hating going to my baby groups cause the other mothers were clichy witches so its been nice not having to make excuses for not going. Yep. In the way many people can’t bear to be alone and need to learn to be ok with it sometimes, I have the exact opposite problem. I need to get better at hanging out with other people as opposed to a night to myself. I’m immune to FOMO. If anything the thought of my friends in a queue for a club at 11pm on a Friday night while I’m just getting in to my quiet soft bed to watch something and fall asleep is the best feeling...I rarely question that decision!Being alone. Lockdown was a dream for me.

Depends who it is.....some you want closer than 2m ;-)I hope it stays forever

I will not ever understand why this is considered weird. Likewise, the theatre.Going to the cinema alone - utter bliss
I don't care what people think anymore! I used to worry about getting odd looks but meh don't understand it either to be honest. I find I enjoy the film more if I'm by myself.I will not ever understand why this is considered weird. Likewise, the theatre.
I've often done both alone and for the most part nobody cares when you are in there so I don't know why people get so het up about the subject or refuse to do these things by themselves to the point where they miss out on some great art.
Cinema is promoted as this important social thing but I don't get why. Once the lights are off you aren't meant to be interacting. I know some people like having others to discuss what they watched after but is that really so vital to the extent where going on your own if your mates can't come is the most unappealing thing ever?I don't care what people think anymore! Exactly! It's also a horrible first date idea for that reason. I hate people chatting during the film too! I like to sit on my own and eat, drink and get into the film. I've done it with all genres of film, even horror and I actually miss it nowCinema is promoted as this important social thing but I don't get why.
