Gift buying is almost non existent for uk secondary school teachers. We have to declare any gifts we receive as well. Pretty sure we’d get told off if we took to TikTok to request gifts here.

The ones that annoy me are those that say they want to find said good samaritan to thank them again... Did they not say thank you at the time?Our local groups are now overrun with posts thanking good Samaritans for helping them in the snow, “what a lovely community we have” etc. I know it’s nice to say thank you but it just feels too sickly sweet for me and half of it’s more than likely posted for a bit of attention and a few likes.

It was fine, I’d watch it again for an easy watch but I was honestly expecting it to be hilarious and I only laughed a few times

Omg yes!! You’ve perfectly articulated a feeling I didn’t know I had and I think it’s why I don’t watch many series it’s overwhelming the amount of content that’s put out there and the FOMO marketing of each series launch is so overwhelming!
