I'm sorry but the woman is actually in a lot better off position than most of us SEN parents.
Children who are much more medically complex, physically more limited than her son. Who have no carers... Who do it all on their own. Who have children who haven't been going to school since March because of covid.
Washing everything that comes in and out of the house. Lifting and doing a heck of a lot more than looking after a peg site and giving medications.
Those families... Never moan. They never do the woe me story. They do it all on their own and you see them actually doing things with their child.
This woman never does anything other than film her son playing on her own or watching the TV.... And never has him.
Yet she has the nerve to make out she's exhausted and doing it all on her own?!
Try following some of the families I know who do not have carers who do have it a lot harder love, who never moan, who don't have th emoney to be jetting off round the world. Who don't have time to have a PT session or get their lips pumped or brows done.
Then she has the audacity to then get on people's cases when they don't follow rules

(they should be following rules) but when it comes from someone who chooses going on a date in London over the safety of her child then I'm sorry but you have no room to talk. You cannot book hotels, see your best friend and start working in a hospital when your vulnerable son is at home.
Not when there's SEN parents who haven't had any respite since this pandemic started. She disgusts me. This isn't because I'm jealous or bitter it's because that woman casts a shadow over every SEN Parent who deserves to be heard. To be shown their lives. Already a few have said her actions make them not want to put into a fundraiser... There are families out there that need peoples help. Actually need that help now and again. Who hate having to ask for help.
That woman who ironically thinks she helps the SEN community.. Is actually making it worse for us.
For those who absolutely love our children and their abilities. Who never make out it's worse or harder than it is. Who are that greatful we have the NHS, who fund the basics, who give our children surgeries that keep them here..... That woman needs to start being more greatful for the son she has, the things she has.
