The house that black built, or the house the boring beige built ? Never seen a more bland kitchen that’s easily cost over 35k, I can’t get over the dullness

I suppose she only has to please herself 🤷‍♀️

Apart from the sink being a double sink which is stupid in a small space, I love the en suite. I also don’t hate what she does with mirrors in most rooms. The dressing room situation is weird - weird layout, weird finishings.

The problem with marble is that it needs to be a delightful moment, not extravagantly and unimaginatively put into every possible space. I think the en suite would feel much more special if there wasn’t marble overwhelm in the weird dressing room kitchen and in the kitchen kitchen.

And I wish she would permit herself to use colour somewhere.

And that "vanity" unit in the downstairs loo looks awful, like it's some unfinished chipboard. It needs to be panelled nicely and painted like the wall behind the loo.

Yes I was OBSESSED with old THBB when I first found her account a few years back - I found her more relatable with her bargain finds/upcycling stuff, especially since I'm doing my own house up now. I also quite liked her old random fashiony posts.
But unfortunately she's gone down the route of every other influencer ever, just on the beg for stuff.
It seems the more money these lot get in the bank. the less they want to spend it 😂

The kitchen was ‘designed’ purely for ‘show’, there’s nothing about it that makes it practical/easy to work in. A good kitchen designer could have made the kitchen practical to work in as well as stylish.

Even the lighting is badly planned tall ceiling with spotlights, no lights close to or above the island - which is the area for cooking/eating. I think she plans on wall lights but they won’t do much as they will be along the corridor wall.

Didn't she do a story talking about this a while back? She only ever uses the one font, and she doesn't like the way capital letters appear in the font; it's not her 'aesthetic', so has always made sure everything she stories is in lower case.

Priorities are aesthetic. Not functionality, practicality or grammar, as with everything in her life.
Which is ironic given how aesthetically unpleasant she is to me.

If you follow the new owners you'll see that Chelsea comments on most of her posts but since the snagging list situ, she's not too much. The last post on the main grid, Chelsea has written 'pretty little house'. Like that house is so beneath her now she's got a bigger house. Wtf?!
How bitchy is that. Even if it is ‘little’ you would know not to include that word. She thinks she’s above people and is a complete wannabe RHW even with her ‘model’ poses she’s so try hard.

She's doing my nut in with the unsafe sleep. Seriously. That tiny baby is constantly bundled up in poorly fitted, thick woolen cardigans. Pictures and reels of him in an adult bed, under the duvet, on sleeping aids. And like someone mentioned before, the finials on his bespoke cot 😖 it makes me cringe so hard! Sorry to the co-sleepers, but safe sleep is something I am passionate about and seeing her advertise her tiny baby in the 'big bed' so she can get a few hrs extra kip to 140k followers touched a nerve today.

She does so much that cause my eyes to roll to the back of my head, and I've tried giving her the benefit of the doubt... it's just for a reel, or she's right there with the baby, even if it is giving out the wrong message. But she's clearly going back to sleep with him here. When you've watched countless families fall apart due to accidental suffocation or positional asphyxiation in the 'big bed', these things become less of an eyeroll.
To be fair this set up follows the lullaby trust rules for safe sleeping. Mums in a C shape with her arm, has the duvet down low, baby has the duvet right down nowhere near upper body or face, he’s not on a pillow, no loose bedding near his head etc …

I can’t believe she’s going to cover up the original Minton tile floor in the hallway. That’s such a treasure and looks in great condition

I wonder if parenthood might be a shock for her.

She seems quite oblivious to some basics about small children…. hard surfaces, sharp corners, limited grass, GRAVEL!

I’m all for designing spaces you love, but it’s so hard to relax when you’re trying to keep your toddler from eating chippings 🤔
Also how will she cope with the basic standard colours she uses being infiltrated with colour! I like the nursery picture but its not a nursery picture is it?!! Will the child be able to have a primary colour jumperoo etc. agree with the poster re dust collevtor at the top of the wardrobe too. I wonder if the baby will bring her back to ground and she might look back and also laugh about it all. The firepit, huge concrete steps etc. not a huge fan if rvk but they made a lovely outdoor place area for their children. Feel like Chelsea is just looking to try and be cool and remove any reference to a child.

Makes me shudder seeing potentially hot food or drink over a baby. I once dropped my dinner onto my baby, was so lucky it wasn’t hot.

Im not understanding the baby room. It’s like a living room with a cot stuck in the middle under the ceiling light? Is this it finished?

In years to come the new owners are going to be cursing her for painting those wooden beams and covering the original quarry tile in marble effect porcelain. She claims to love old houses and then has zero care for original features

When she shared the floor tiles I thought she was at least using lovely marble tiles. But it’s fake marble she’s scrounged from Topps 🤣

She’s so self absorbed posting about dog coats and doors whilst there is a huge event on. Who cares about her priming. She must think people want to see it
