Ran here! Why do these influencers think it's OK to share comments, effectively encouraging a pile on! People are allowed an opinion FFS and your bland house is going to elicit and opinion especially if you buy a VICTORIAN house and then eradicate every original feature 🙄
I was just going to say the same. I love period features, even though those tiles aren’t to my taste but there’s no way I’d buy a house like that and turn into a soulless, bland box (just buy a new build if that’s the look you’re after, ffs). She may even be knocking money off the value of the house. My house is Edwardian but the previous owners had covered up every interesting original feature with artex, shit panelling and woodchip in the 70’s/80’s and she’s just done the modern equivalent. In 10-20 years time, whoever buys that house will be ripping up her laminate flooring and replacing her ikea wardrobes.

Agree with everything that's been said here! I loved her style and account at first but recently the begging and freebies scream of doing things and putting things in her house because she's been paid to or is getting the item free.

Biggest example is that HUGE sofa that is completely the wrong shape and size for the room. Don't get me wrong, it's a great piece of furniture but wrong for her house. And the tour really did show how tiny of a place it is, so cramped and really doesn't seem to look as good in "real life" as it does in the carefully taken pics that she puts up.

I still do like her style, although I must say it is very insulting to all the hard working interior designers for her to be starting a "design studio"! Just because she managed to put a decent-looking house together, doesn't mean she is qualified to do it for anyone else. Her house is basically monochrome with little variation between the different rooms, so I don't know how she expects to be able to take a brief from someone else and present a plan for their home back to them with deadlines, budget, and who will even do the work?? There's a lot more to interior design than there is decorating your own home.

Is anyone following the new homeowner of Chelsea's old house?
She put up a post about a snagging list lol..
I thought Chelsea was a diy guru charging people for interior design...

That room is NOT big enough to house everything that she is putting in there, it looks so cluttered!

And who the hell needs a dog bath?!? It's such Pinterest nonsense and not something that happens in real homes! I would be so put off buying a house that had a mini (badly made) bath in the entrance porch/utility.

She claims to be an Interior Designer ( charges for it too ) yet Chelsea can’t even get her boot room ( doggy room ) right . The room will look too boxed in as she’s gonna do it ! Everything for the gram eh Chelsea ! It’s SHITE !!

She's so boring. Like it's taken her 18 months in that house to essentially 'transform' downstairs with fake wood flooring and painting everything cream....

Has she got eyes? Cause that looks fucking horrible.
I don’t understand this fascination with sticking rectangles of beading onto walls. It’s not panelling. It doesn’t look like panelling, the house is not of the type that it would have ever had panelling, and even if it was, stuck on beading still looks like stuck on beading.

To be fair they're both in full time professional jobs and have no dependants, and their house is a normal sized home....so they must have lots of disposable income.
Curious to know what she does for a living that gives her a new car every six months though.
Maybe I'm just jealous 😅
I just think it's the way she comes across with the posing, and constant showy offy-ness.

She works for Bentley, I'm pretty sure she's something to do with branding? So it's a company car scheme.

For the record I'm not jealous, I just prefer to see interiors than constant Victoria Beckham wannabe poses 🤪

I've started to think she doesn't actually have any of her own sense of style at all. Its exactly why the whole house is boring, beige and bland. I'm glad she wasn't gifted a walk in room too as she was on the beg for that for ages...
No one off bits of unique art no antiques or collections nothing that you would say I have never seen that before or be intrigued about , if you had the money anyone could just go out and buy the same look it’s all new and will date , this is the look that everyone does all the reality show people now !! It is just the next step up from grey crushed velvet and mirror furniture , a real designer knows how to mix fabrics incorporate different eras of style . Nice home but it amazes me how many people are enthralled of having the same as everyone else .
