I feel like these instagrammers are just waiting for something to be said about them so they can jump on the bandwagon and attempt to slap back šŸ˜‚

šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ sheā€™s done it to me too..ignored every comment I make, I do prefer her to Mrs Hinch though!
I get the impression she doesnā€™t like Mrs Hinch much either sheā€™s had a few subtle digs at her before which kinda makes me like her šŸ¤£

I saw her stories today.. The digs at Mrs hinch.. Im not a hincher in anyway, but the way she was I'm an author, I've an English degree, I'm writing it myself. She is as bad as hinch, she just does it more subtly... She will be crying next week saying the hinch army is after me....well if u can dish it, u better be able to take it. So sick of all the cleaning accounts all going for each other.
Honestly Iā€™m starting to feel the same. Iā€™ve followed Gemma for a while now and itā€™s just really petty. The Instagram posts about this thread has done it for me. The lack of maturity amazes me

Itā€™s hardly rocket science though comingvup with a plan on how to clean your house, do a room or two a day or say you have a bit of a quiet day double up and do the next dayā€™s rooms to give yourself a free day OR you just wing it then give the house a good blitz when you get time.
Donā€™t know why people are writing books on things people have been managing for years lol
Nope its not rocket science and yes people have been cleaning for years. However, as a person who is known (to my family) to not see mess it really helped me organise myself. I recently changed to working on a supply basis which meant I had loads of free time but the house was even messier!!!It was like I had too much time. Now everyone including other half and two teenagers know whats happening and what they need to do.
So I'm holding my hands up and coming out as a Gemma fan !!

It annoyed me when she got on her high horse about larger accounts ignoring smaller accounts at events and wanted to do an event for ā€˜nobodysā€™ yet that was exactly what she did to me at said event, yes Iā€™m a nobody but sheā€™s a hypocrite.

I commented earlier singing Gemmas praise then I saw the insta posts and I agree there was no need to do that at all. Part of me feels like people tag tattle to get our backs uo so they get a bigger thread which drives them more traffic to there channels. I feel Brummy Mummy did this and now she has two threads and people checking her out that might not of to see what we have been chatting about.

Iā€™m sorry but is anyone actually buying this fake, over rehearsed crap??! Hereā€™s my 172 week programme on how to clean your house. Make sure you stick to it, or your house will burn down! Hereā€™s me dancing round my kitchen like one of the PTA mums at the school disco who thinks theyā€™re ā€œway cool and radā€... with my husband who looks and dances like Danny Divito in that episode of Friends when heā€™s a stripper....oh and donā€™t forget the odd video of me making out Iā€™ve got so much intergrity (even though I buy followers and block anyone who might have a similar page). Just what we need, another Instagram nobody with a book telling us what to do and when šŸ™„

This is awks šŸ˜‚ Like Mumsnet but the gloves are off!!

I love dancing, doesnā€™t mean I CAN dance šŸ˜‚ but it makes me happy so Iā€™ll carry on. I donā€™t know what dancing like a PTA mum means but Iā€™ll take it šŸ™Œ Clearly I wonā€™t be on Strictly, so I think we can all breathe a sigh of relief there.

I LOVE that episode of Friends. I think it comes a close second to when Ross gets a spray tan. Iā€™ve passed on to Mike that you think he can dance like the great and immensely talented Danny DeVito and heā€™s thrilled and currently practising his moves. Itā€™s months since he did his dance so heā€™s glad heā€™s finally got his encore!! You have quite the memory recall for that one, so thanks for reminding us!

Iā€™ve just checked ... I have blocked 5 people. 2 are men who sent me messages that you wouldnā€™t want to read on an empty tummy. And the other 3 are trolls. One of whom sent an awful message that my eldest son saw and was deeply upset by. I haven't bought a single follower. Nor will I ever. That I am very serious about.

Thank you for coming to the event I organised last summer. Yes, youā€™re right I organised a picnic in a park, open to all. It was lovely there were 8 of us in total plus kids. I spoke to everyone, we sat on picnic blankets in a circle. I know everyone who came so this comment doesnā€™t make much sense to me. However, if I upset you for whatever reason then I am truly sorry. Please DM me so I can apologise properly, doing it via Tattle doesn't feel right.

I try my hardest to reply to everyone, it isnā€™t always possible but I do try my best. In way of an explanation, I also run and mod the 60k member FB group which takes up hours each day and up until very recently I have been personally matching TeamTOMM members for the buddy scheme which had a waiting list of over 1k people.

Sorry you didnā€™t get on with TOMM. Thank you for trying it out and for giving me a chance.

Oh and TOMM isnā€™t a 172 week plan itā€™s an 8 week method that is free to download. Please let me reassure you that if you decide not to follow your house WILL NOT burn down.

.. I have to run ... I'm late for the PTA meeting. I'm co-chairing tonight and Mike is dancing for the entertainment. If I remember I will story it.

Toodle Pip!!!

I love Gemma! She has always replied to anything Iā€™ve sent her. Seems genuinely lovely.
There was a bit of a thing between her and Mrs Hinch last year. Basically she said it was stupid to mix chemicals, and shouldnā€™t be advised (she didnā€™t mention any names at all). Then the Hinch Army got on her back and she was receiving abusive messages. Mrs Hinch was in a position where she could have ā€˜influencedā€™ her army to lay off a bit, but didnā€™t. Instead spouted all this shit about ā€˜always having her backā€™etc. So no, I doubt Gemma does like her much. Ironically they share the same birthday though - my random fact for the day!
Was this the zoflora and bicarb to clean the bed? I followed Gemma way before Hinch so saw her mention how dangerous it was but didnā€™t know who had advised it though? I like her too seems quite genuine and transparent and comes across a lot more intellegent and socially aware than other Instagramers

You clean the bathrooms daily actually, not once a month.

The whole point is you do daily jobs which keep on top of everything then focus on one room for 30 mins a day and do a deeper clean there, it basically means that your house overall feels cleaner all the time. I used to do one huge blitz clean on my day off and a few days on it felt unclean again. This method works for me and thousands of others to keep on top of the house little and often.

She also does really good spotify playlists to clean to, and unlike all the other instagrammers she doesnt do many ads and is really focusing towards easy eco cleaning which is helping our family be more environmentally friendly.
Its helped me a lot. With ADHD I used to find it hard to structure my housework and had a bit of an "all or nothing" approach to it. This has helped me keep up with everything and if I do drop the ball here and there, it's much less daunting to get back on top of things!

Anyone seen the latest "troll" post. Screams "I need to stay relevant"
I really thought she was different but clearly she is the same as the rest of them!

I don't get this method its not 30 minutes a day. There is a 15 minute slot to wash a load, dry it, put it away, dishwasher, clean around bath and shower, toilets and a couple of other things which takes me way longer but maybe I am just slow šŸ¤·

Sorry I thought this was a new thread so Iā€™ve been liking old posts šŸ˜³

I just recently found her but Iā€™ve went off her straight away. One day all her stories were just songs! I was like Iā€™ll just put on the radio thanks!

I didnā€™t like how she jumped on the troll bandwagon recently. Considering she knows what itā€™s like to get trolled by fans of another Instagrammer (Hinch Army) I thought it was ridiculous of her to support Mrs Meldrum and doxxing.

The cleaning thing I also donā€™t get. So she does half an hour every day so she doesnā€™t have to clean at the weekend. Well I do 1.5 hours on a Friday so I donā€™t have to clean 6 days a week. Should I also write a book?!

Organised motherhood is much better. She only cleans her bathroom once a month and it looks very clean the rest of the time. She doesnā€™t have little boys though šŸ¤Ø

You know people you don't know on social media don't owe you a reply or heart or whatever don't you?! It's become a pretty common theme round here to hate someone because they didn't reply to your messages. It's a bit petty really. People do have families to look after, jobs etc.

I like Gemma, she's a nice person, she's ad free, and I like her background story, as it's very much like mine. I also had post natal anxiety and was exhausting myself over cleaning among other things I won't go into. Anyone that can come out of it and use it to genuinely help others while not even earning anything gets my respect. If anyone deserves to earn its Gemma.

She cares about people's safety, unlike Hinch, and dealt with the bullying from the Hinch Army in the most dignified way. She also makes movement to natural products and proves you don't need a narnia to clean your house.
Well said! Iā€™m a pretty good judge of character and I think Gemma is very genuine. I havenā€™t always had a reply from her but gosh she has so many followers, a home to look after, three children and a job! And who really cares if she does silly dancing? I think itā€™s refreshing. Whatā€™s that saying dance like nobodyā€™s watching! I do this all the time and get seen by the postman etc and donā€™t even care!

No, I agree people in Social Media donā€™t owe you a reply BUT what you have to understand ALOT of vulnerable, stressed out, overwhelmed people are following these accounts..a Like or a little response from their ā€œidolā€ can mean a lot..I couldnā€™t give a toss tbh if I get a reply I purely mentioned it..as I had said words of encouragement but nothing back šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø If you have a huge platform ..youā€™re going to get critism, Msybe when these accounts get so huge they could do with some PA/Admin help!
I understand where you're coming from and what you mean. Sometimes the 'I'm here for you' can feel genuine, especially if that person feels like they can relate to someone. I just think for some people to dislike someone because they haven't replied or got a heart back is a little bit petty. Maybe it's a lesson to be learned that Influencers shouldn't be idols to anyone because they are just normal people like us!
