Universal doesn’t allow filming on rides anymore, correct? Wouldn’t be the worst thing for Disney to at least adopt that rule.

Yeah plus I don't think you can film in ques either now, I agree, the rides an ques at least could be a no filming area, keep them to the actual park if they must have them, at least if you spot them you can walk away rather than be stuck with them an unable move
I noticed in Dimmy's but especially PMM lately that he stops in the middle of the walkway to talk to the camera. Especially in EPCOT to talk to the camera. You can see entire family's having to navigate around him to go past then turn around and give him the stink eye. No self awareness at all. If I see this when I go I will be "not paying attention" and accidently bump into them. It's a crowded busy place to just stop in the middle of traffic.That's what I don't get, isn't the media events designed to keep the vloggers out the damn way, plus advertise what it's about, what's so hard about just keeping the vloggers to the media events only, apart from the events what even is there to report on, all they do is witch about que lines, witch about the food, witch how busy the park is, like why as a business would I even want that, they don't do anything new outside of the media so what even is the point in it all, all we are looking at is glorified vacation videos

Once while waiting for our oldest to participate in Jedi training we saw a woman go crazy screaming at her boys and then hitting one with her sandal so to be fair Tim’s woohoo is probably the least distracting thing she’ll experience at Disney.

That's absolutely shocking, I hope she was seen by CM members
I sorta felt like I had my experience ruined with the star wars ride, it was the one where you pilot it, hadn't long opened at the time like maybe a few months, we waited around till almost park closing to go que for it cause I just don't deal with ques very well so we were about the last to get on, my dad was super super excited for it which is why we waited till it was almost at the point where we had to get on before they closed the que, we by luck got the two pilot seats, there was two guys behind us a bit pissed they didn't get them, I am super aware of everything around me so picked up convo that this was around their 9th or 10th time doing this ride an they wanted to ride as many times as they could, I imagine they were maybe annual pass holders, so we gets in an my dad did not fully understanding that it was HIM that had to help control it, he thought it was just like a ride, so you can imagine how much we were all over the place as I tried to control mine while helping him while he's laughing his head off cause he thought it was amusing, he had a blast which I am super happy about but all I could think of is was the snarky comments behind us about how "kids" shouldn't be allowed (am 5ft an young looking, not a child) an how their ride was ruined because idiots were in charge an how they should have told the CM that they should have had the pilots seat, an how it wasn't enjoyable for them, honestly it wasn't the worst, apart from hitting a few walls we still managed to pilot the thing an the two right at the back said we did fine for it being a first time an that my dad didn't know at first he had to actually work it, we have never been back on it, it was a once for us as we haven't been back since then
This is what worrys me about her, it's probably going be the only time in years before we can take her back, I really don't want her coming home upset cause the one thing she was excited for ends up ruined

People are such jerks, I’m sorry that happened to you! My daughter and I got pilots our first time on it and we had two other adults with us. I absolutely knew she was going to be terrible at piloting but there was no way I was handing over our chance fo pilot! I walked off thinking they probably hated riding with us, but oh well. It’s not every day you get to punch it, Chewie. Am honestly just glad my dad was unaware of it all, he's a huge star wars fan an honestly loved the ride to bits, so it was all really for him, at first I was a bit unsure of taking pilot but then I thought why? We paid our money like everyone else an unlike those mats we weren't going be able to ride it again so I took it an he got first seat view of it all
I was reading that Dollywood is the same. No filming on rides.
While not affording any protections for the guests against being in for-profit videos that outsiders produce, it's a step in the right direction. Would love to see Disney do this also, although I'll admit to being sad to see this go and it will only increase the demand for vloggers who are brought in to film and release bits of preview video.

I met some lovely kids at Disney once, I was chatting to the youngest and asked her name, she told me what her name was ‘but my real name isX’. The kids were living under false names with foster carers and having their first ever holiday, I really hoped no vloggers published videos with them in
Yup. Having eyes everywhere is not a good thing when the public has access to it.
I was told by my ex that if he had shared custody of the kids I would not be allowed to take them out of state. Then two breaths later he told me how they needed passports. Hm. Sociopath.
I made sure to get full custody and that each had a cell phone.
I cringe at the thought that he could have stalked us via livestream, it was bad enough when he found out we were there he'd text the kids non-stop, usual contact was once a week, if that.
It's not just the kids than can be in danger, but the caregivers as well, my aunt worked in a place for a while where kids who had been removed from one country were brought to the one she worked at, she was told to use a fake name to the kids an mention nothing about her own family or even mention any social media as these kids knew things that made them a target so had to be removed from their own country
It's crazy that everyone has to go to these lengths to protect these kids and it can all be for nothing if they are caught in vlogs an most of these vlogs go up the day after they are filmed which means these kids could still be going around parks after being seen in the vlogs
I am glad you got custody of your kids, some people are terrifying an shouldn't be allowed near kids
