I don't know, but Tim acted like he didn't even need recovery time in the video. To me, it sounded like he was blowing it off like it wasn't anything. Jenn was the one who was acting all weird about it, because you know she is worried how long he'll be out of commission. She said they would take it "one day at a time" and Tim laughed at her and said how dramatic that sounded.

I agree. He was completely blowing it off. He mentions that his friend and some family members had the same surgery and all said he'd be in bed for 3 days. But he didn't seem to believe that would be true. He's not in super great shape and abdominal surgery, even laparoscopic, is no joke to recuperate from. Especially as the sole caregiver of J$, he's going to have a lot of trouble physically doing what he does every day.

I think Jenn is going to be all sunshine and rainbows on camera doing all the things she usually doesn't do, but behind the scenes, I really think she is going to be a raging witch. Even with Nanny Lynn and whatever family help, this is going to interfere with her sleeping until noon and Real Housewives time for a little while.

It won't be, but this should be a wake up call to both of them to get their tit together.

What happens if it ends up being not a routine surgery and there are complications? Has that even been something they've considered? He was definitely acting like it was no big deal in that video, when he should rightly be making preparations for an extended leave right now (filming extra content, figuring out who will help Jenn out, etc).

They refuse to think about anything like that. Fact is we put ourselves in danger every day we step out the door. Of course it's not healthy to worry over it, but it's irresponsible not to plan for what might happen to those left behind should anything occur.

My husband was in a bad car accident and had to have a discectomy due to a badly herniated disc. He was back to work in 4 weeks because we literally couldn’t afford for him to take more time than that.

how long do we think Tim will milk his recovery time while Nurse Ratchet plods around the house in her robe and complains about having to “do everything YOUUU GUYYYSS”

I think he will get sick of her bs and be up fixing the shelf in the garage in 5 days

I just had my 4th knee surgery in 7 years on Jan 5 here in Orlando. My wife was able to come in and wait while I was in surgery. In fact after I was in pre-op and prepped, they brought her back to my bedside to be with me prior to my surgery. This was all done at the Orlando Health Hospital downtown. Not sure if all hospitals allow this, but this one did.

Hernias are no joke and if he has 2 tears, he will get 2 micro screens embedded in the abdominal wall to “shore” that tear/weakness up. He will not be able to do the things he does for his son until well after the recovery period. A friend of mine didn’t do everything he was supposed to and re-tore the area and had to have another surgery with a stiffer mesh. Could be bad if he doesn’t heal well or doesn’t listen to his doctor for recovery exercises.

Hernia surgery is not fun to recover from. I have to have it this year. Mine aren’t at risk of strangulation so I’ve gotten bumped for covid reasons. Not looking forward to it. My sister in law had hers repaired last year, didn’t follow her recovery plan partially due to being a mom of 3 small kids and her husband thinking helping out it beneath him. So she had it again, it was much worse the second time around and her body is prone to bad adhesions so she had to follow a stricter protocol with PT.
I really hope his recovery is smooth and without complications. For a minor surgery, it certainly has many ways to go wrong. I guess the nanny being there is a very good thing so that he can recover properly and that they recognized that Jenn isn’t fully capable. Know thyself, I guess.

I think the whole thing is awkward. I can't imagine having another person around the whole time. I maybe get having a Nanny if you both have to work full time. They don't. Tim maybe if he put some effort into research and planning, then being out filming and adds in editing. Jenn definitely not on the editing and she goes out to film by choice. She doesn't need to be there, they'd earn as much if not more. I guess I don't understand why THEY think they need a full time Nanny coming to dinner, staying overnight etc it must be awkward as hell. How do you fully relax? How do they decide who does what when J$ needs something or gets out of bed in the night. How long before Nanny Lynne is the person he turns too most because he knows she'll fulfill his needs and how will Jenn feel? Got to be odd for their relationship too having someone else around so much. Although from what many of you have said, they're enjoying their alone park time.

I see your point but this is a couple who constantly has a camera on. Awkward went out the window well over a decade ago.

I think after the few weeks of vlogs where Tim
was by himself around the holidays- Jennbo lost it. She hasn’t hardly been by herself with the kid since! They brought manny Matt on the cruise after that. She did have to deal with J$ while they were in Hawaii a few times, but I think she refuses to deal with him by herself.

I did not add that. I was jokingly checking to see if they added a delicious tag as I requested further back in this thread. I saw that jackson tag and thought it interesting enough to share here. Would like to put this out here - hernia surgery can a be a bugger but it has come a long long way from what it used to be. Hubby had two "sports" hernias repaired at the same time laparoscopic. He did great! He felt so good the following day I had to constantly remind him to take it easy. He took motrin the day of surgery after we got home and nothing after that. So it is possible it won't be a completely debilitating surgery but he will have to be careful (no lifting items over 15 pounds) for 6 weeks or so. Same for a friend's husband. So it should, hopefully go just fine for Tim.

One of my sibling in-laws passed from cancer in their early 30s. It kinda jarred our lives. They were doing poorly then made a miraculous recovery then suddenly got very sick and passed all in just a few months time. We got exciting personal news that will move us out of the US in a few months and there’s A LOT of paperwork and doctor stuff and accompanies that. Which also made my husband aware of some minor health issues early enough thankfully. Our son who goes nowhere bc I’m a SAHM caught hand foot and mouth which was super not fun. Then we all got sick, which wasn’t covid, but now I wonder if it really was this new variant.

I will scroll through here and read occasionally, but I mostly just look at the pics. It’s the same tit with them. And when you’re dealing with heavy real life stuff it just highlights their ungratefulness and makes you dislike them more.

So sorry you have been going through all of that. Definitely missed you posting here. Take care.

You know, even though I have been disgusted by how they use J for views by including him in videos and thumbnails all the time, part of me hoped they didn't realize just how much they do it. Like it was subconscious because they just want to show him off and they get attention from the fawning stans. But the fact that they use his name and descriptions about him as keywords just proves they are disgusting. They are blatantly pandering for random views from people and also from creeps who look for videos about children or about him specifically. If you do read Tim and Jenn, STOP THAT. It's unacceptable and beyond the pale. You shouldn't feature him at all, but to use his name as a keyword search term is just deplorable.
